Chapter 58: The beautiful driver

In the morning Laura was in a hurry when she received a call from her boss named Ryan.

Laura, pick me up at home before you leave for the office. I wait.

Ryan's words made Laura turn towards the clock hanging on her wall.

"A hour and a half six. Nawat, I'm bad luck" said Laura as she got out of bed.

If Ryan hadn't contacted Laura by then, it would have been certain that Laura would have been late for the office.

Her body is so tired. In addition, his mind is also no less tired with his body, so he wants to rest his body and mind by sleeping longer.

However, Ryan, the CEO of the RAZ company, means his boss has given him a job, so he has to leave right then and there.

Laura hurriedly put on her clothes and combed her hair. Even she was polishing her face with simple makeup. 

"Emmm... Are you awake? Why is it neat? What time is it?" asked Arsenio who had just woken up while yawning and rubbing her two eyes using her hands.

Laura glanced at her husband from the mirror before her. Then he put earrings on his ear and said,

"I have to go to work now. Sorry I can't prepare breakfast for you. Make bread with your own jam spread. Everything's on the dining table."

After that he quickly grabbed his bag on the table and said,

"I'll go first."

"Darling, why such a rush?" asked Arsenio while looking at his wife as if he was not willing to be left behind by his wife.

Laura stopped her steps when she was about to open the door. She looked at her husband who was still in their bed. Then he said,

"Sir Ryan called me. He told me to leave now to pick him up."

"W-what? Picked her? Wh why? Does that have to be?" arsenio asked with some questions to his wife.

"I have to obey him. This is all for the sake of working with you. Even last night I drove him home and had dinner first at his house. Never mind, I'll be late if I have to explain everything. I have to go pick her up now," Laura replied quickly as if unwilling to delay.

Laura opened her bedroom door and walked out of the room. Arsenio immediately got out of her bed and hurriedly followed his wife.

"You're not a driver. Why would you take her?" arsenio asked as she walked following Laura behind her.

"Eitherway. All his orders I must follow. No exception to that. Maybe soon I'll be her pretty driver" replied Laura who was walking while slightly chuckling with her original answer.

At once Arsenio's footsteps stopped after hearing his wife's words. His brain recorded the sentence on the part if his wife had to obey all the orders of her boss, whatever it was, was no exception.

This morning he felt his anxiety back after last night he managed to make his wife comply with his desire to satisfy him. That was why they were both exhausted and woke up late this morning.

Arsenio was very happy last night because her wish was quickly approved by his wife, so her jealousy and resentment towards Ryan was gone. 

However, this morning the resentment and jealousy came back. He felt he could no longer tolerate Ryan's attitude towards his wife.

"Laura is my wife. And whenever she's going to be my wife" Arsenio said, clenching her hands as she watched Ryan's luxury car drive Laura out of their yard.

Remembering Laura who was in a hurry to leave the house, made Arsenio aware that the day had gone. He quickly walked into the bathroom to clean his body and immediately prepared to leave for work.

In the luxury car he was driving, Laura was trying to speed up the speed of his vehicle. He did not want Ryan to scold him for his delay when picking him up.

Luckily, the road was free, so Laura could pass through the road smoothly until she reached Ryan's residence without any obstacles.

It took only a few minutes for Laura to reach the mansion. He got out of the car and walked quickly into the house.

Ryan looked at the clock wrapped around his right hand. Then he said,

"No problem. We're not too late. Sit down and eat first. We have breakfast together."

Laura who lowered her head in guilt, immediately raised her head with her eyes wide in shock at the orders of her boss.

However, Laura could not turn it down because she knew that Ryan did not like it if denied. Laura immediately sat down in the chair in front of Ryan. In front of him was already available the same food as the food on Ryan's plate.

Ryan folded the newspaper he read and placed it on the table. Then he said,

"Eat. After that we go to the office."

"Well sir" Laura said, nodding her head.

A faint smile was seen on Ryan's lips. She stole a glance at Laura who was enjoying her meal.

After their meal was over, Ryan invited Laura to leave for his office immediately.

Ryan was sitting in the passenger seat next to the driver. And Laura remains a pretty driver for Ryan.

She knew that Laura was a little tense and uncomfortable because of it. He also tried to melt the atmosphere.

"I want to make a very good advertisement for the company. Do you have any ideas for Laura?" ryan tried to lure Laura.

"Later think about it, sir. What do you want like? It's possible that I have an idea related to your wishes" Laura replied while driving her car.

Ryan smiled faintly at Laura's reply. She turned to the side to see Laura focusing on the road before her and the steering wheel she was holding. Then he said,

"Do you have any advice on which companies can make interesting and good ads more than our usual company ads?"

My chance. But I can't be too gaudy saying it. I don't want him to suspect me. Since I desperately needed this job, Laura said in her heart.

"Why not with a company that usually sir?" laura asked calmly and remained focused on the wheel.

Ryan smiled at Laura's reply. Then he said,

"If there's something better, why not?" 

"Later I will try to find some advertising companies that have good work, sir. After that you just choose between several companies," Laura replied steadily and did not look hesitant at all.

Ryan smiled and nodded his head as he said,

"alright. I'll look forward to it."

As my mind goes, you will behave like this. I hope what I think is true. And if that is true, I will not hesitate to act, Ryan said in his heart while looking at Laura who was still driving the car.

Arriving at the office, the two of them walked into the elevator to the room of Ryan. Everyone always looks at them. In fact, they wondered about how Laura could become a personal assistant to Ryan Arion Syahreza who was so cute and cold to all women that never put a woman in his room as an assistant his personal.

A few moments after they were in Ryan's room, Laura gave him a map in front of Ryan, saying,

"Sorry sir, this is all a list of advertising companies that may be in your favor."

Ryan looked at Laura while smiling faintly at her. He took the map and opened it. Then he said,

"Which company do you think I should choose?"
