Chapter 90: The Wedding

Hearing Laura's question made Ryan smile. She approached Laura and took both of her hands and said,

"I didn't lie to Laura. I want to marry you. Do you mind?"

Laura's eyes suddenly opened to Ryan's words. He gets more misbehaved when Ryan asks him about his availability to marry Ryan who incidentally is his own boss.

"But sir, we're kan–"

"I love you Laura. And I'm sure, sooner or later you'll love me too. So, it doesn't matter to me for now you still don't love me. I'll be patient waiting for that love to grow in your heart for me" Ryan said, staring intensely at Laura's bead of eyes expectantly.

Laura looked at Ryan's eyes. I don't know why Laura's heart was touched to see Ryan's heart. Without feeling Laura's eyes glazed over Ryan's eyes that described the earnestness of his heart.

"You still don't trust me Laura?" ryan asked with a hopeful look at Laura.

Laura was wrong. He faced the other direction and said,

"I believe, but–"

"That means you don't believe me" Ryan said as he looked at Laura with a disappointed look.

Laura turned to face Ryan. Their eyes looked at each other so that made Laura unconsciously say what was in her mind.

"Not because of that. I believe it, but I don't think it's fair for you if I can't love you yet" Laura said as if hypnotized by Ryan's sad eyes.

Ryan smiled at Laura. She further tightened her hand on Laura while saying,

"I told you. I don't care about Laura. I'll try to make you fall in love with me. And I'm sure if in a minute you can love me. As long as you don't fortify your heart against me."

Laura's heart was really glad to hear Ryan's words to her. Who would have thought if a Ryan who was so unreachable could easily get to his knees before Laura, even he begged for her love.

"I don't know myself if I accept it. You are very tall and very difficult to reach. As for me, I am just an ordinary person who is injured due to failure in the household," Laura said with a sad facial expression.

"No Laura. You are very precious to me. From now on, we must change our calling. Don't call me or you. Just call you and me so we can get closer. Emmm. That too if you want" said Ryan expectantly.

Laura stared intensely at Ryan's bead eyes which were truly hopeful and radiated sincerity from her eyes. In his heart he said,

He looks so sincere to me. It is better to be loved than to love. I'm just trying to accept it. I'm also sure that he won't let me down. I will try to love him too.

Slowly Laura nodded her head as she said,

"Should I try?" 

Ryan's lips curled upwards. His hand immediately grabbed Laura's body and carried her in his arms.

Ryan slightly broke his embrace. Then he looked into Laura's eyes and said,

"Thank you Laura. I promise I will always make you happy. Do you agree to our marriage together with their marriage? Or do you want to come to their wedding?" 

"No. I don't want to come to their show."

Ryan smiled at the expression on Laura's face that was reluctant to meet her ex-husband who was married to her affair.

"Then, it's better that day we get married. How's it?" ryan asked as he gently rubbed Laura's cheek.

As hypnotized by Ryan's eyes, Laura nodded her head approving of Ryan's words. Seeing Laura's nod of her head, Ryan couldn't help himself anymore.

As fast as lightning his lips landed on Laura's lips. Ryan kissed Laura's lips slowly, until they were both lulled with it. Ryan did not get a rejection from Laura. Her kiss deepened as Laura returned the kiss.

But Ryan stopped the kiss slowly. With their breaths still puffing, their eyes stared at each other.

"I love you so much, baby. I don't want to do it now just out of lust. I want us to do it when we're married" Ryan said solemnly.

Laura smiled and nodded her head looking at the seriousness in the eyes of her future husband. After that Laura tightly hugged Ryan's body and smiled in her arms. Ryan hugged Laura. She felt very comfortable, protected and loving in Ryan's arms.

Without Laura saying anything, Ryan knew that Laura was also happy with their relationship. Now she felt a little relieved to have gotten an answer from Laura.

Day change day. Now Laura is ready with a luxurious wedding dress that looks beautiful and graceful on her body. Of course, the wedding dress is not just any dress that can be worn by anyone. The dress was specially made for Laura in just a short time, according to Ryan's request. And it was worth the price that could only make Laura shake her head.

Although Laura disagrees with their lavish wedding, Ryan still does. He seduced her to ask Laura for her approval because she felt so grateful to have him to be his wife. Of course it makes Laura to be very meaningful, so there is no reason to forbid Ryan to hold a wedding as he wishes.

In just a short time, a very luxurious and elegant wedding could be prepared. Of course, with a cost that is not cheap. The wedding organizer set the price three times because of the very sudden preparation. Without much comment, Ryan agreed.

On the same day, Arsenio had a marriage with Kessy. Indeed, the wedding party is also arguably luxurious, but it cannot be compared to the wedding of Ryan, CEO of RAZ company who became the king of business in the Asian region.

"Darling, why are you so moody? You don't like us getting married? Didn't you agree to marry me?" ask Kessy in her sulking style.

Arsenio was silent. In his heart he said,

How can I be happy if Laura, my ex-wife whom I still love so much, today she is also married to someone else? Moreover, her husband is a better person of all things compared to me. Stupidly I can let go of the angel I've had all these years.

Kessy took Arsenio's hand and placed her hand on her belly wrapped in a white wedding dress while saying,

"This is our son, baby. You must love him. And throw away that sad face of yours. We must be happy so that our children also feel the happiness that we have."

Kessy invites Arsenio down from the pelaminan and meet the guests who have been present at the party.

Suddenly between them came a voice that made Arsenio feel very upset to hear it.

"Look, the CEO of the RAZ company is married to a beautiful artist and is broadcast live across television and social media. They look very harmonious and very happy."
