Chapter 70: The Attraction of Laura

Arsenio borrowed a cell phone charger from a nurse standing guard near her mother's room. It was obvious that he was worried at the moment. How not, he wanted to immediately find out the whereabouts of his current wife.

For a few moments his cell phone can be switched on. He was shocked to get the missed call coming from his wife.

"Laura?! Damnit damnit! My HP shouldn't have been dead. He must have seen all the calls and messages I sent him. But why didn't he send me a message if I didn't pick up the phone? I'd better call him now" said Arsenio Lirih while watching his phone screen.

She called Laura's cell phone number. Unfortunately until the last ring was not lifted by his wife. There was a sense of annoyance enveloping him at this moment. He called his wife's mobile number and still had no answer.

"Where is he? Why didn't you answer my phone?" arsenio grumbled with her growing sense of regret.

He looked back at the point where his wife was. He looked carefully at where his wife was.

"Damn! Why is he still at the resort? What the hell is he doing there?" arsenio asked softly with emotion.

Arsenio turned to her mother who was busy knitting yarn into a scarf. He sighed at not being able to leave his mother alone for now.

"It's been this afternoon they're still at the resort. Do they want to stay there?" ask Arsenio who monologues accompanied by her anger.

"Do I have to go there to pick her up? But what about Mom? Mom didn't want me to leave that day" Arsenio said.

He tried to contact Laura again, unfortunately his phone call was again just a missed call.

Elsewhere, Laura was walking with Ryan along the beautiful beach with a breeze that hit their clothes and hair.

The two of them walked hand in hand while talking and joking along the waterfront. They are not less compatible with other couples who are on the beach.

Strangers who do not understand their relationship, will certainly think if they are both a couple, even though they do not walk by holding hands.

Laura reached into the pocket of the dress she was wearing. He panicked while looking for something in his pocket. A few seconds later he sighed at the thought of his cell phone he had placed on the table in the resort room he was currently in.

"Why Laura? Looks like you're looking for something," Ryan asked as he frowned to see Laura frantically reaching into his pocket.

Laura smiled clumsily at the question Ryan asked her. Then he said,

"Emmm that's sir. My HP seemed to be left behind in the resort room earlier."

"Oooh. I think what's going on" Ryan said, chuckling.

"It doesn't matter how sir? I'm going to take a photo" Laura said unknowingly.

Instantly Arsenio laughed after hearing Laura's words. He looked at Laura as he said,

"You want a photo? Here I take a picture, just use my HP."

Laura widened her eyes as she said,

"W-what Sir? The man who took my picture?" 

Ryan smiled and nodded his head in response to Laura's question.

"Wear the Father's HP?" laura asked back as if she did not believe her hearing.

Ryan chuckled as he nodded his head back and said,

"Yes. I took a picture of you using my HP. Still less clear?"

"But sir, that's your HP" said Laura as if she rejected what Ryan said.

"This is my HP. Do you want my HP too?" ryan asked, giggling and showing Laura his phone.

Ryan chuckled at Laura's response. Then he said,

"You think I'll save your photo? Later after I send all the photos to you, I will definitely delete all the photos. Don't worry about it."

Laura smiled broadly at Ryan's words. And that made Ryan even more amazed at Laura.

Laura ran small towards the beach. He also called out to Ryan.

"This is it, sir."

Ryan chuckled at Laura's behavior. He ran up to her and prepared to take a picture.

"Please have a good photo, sir" Laura said with a smile and style to be ready to be photographed.

Ryan also complied with Laura's wishes. Style by style is shown by Laura. From one place to another Ryan took a picture of Laura. There are some pictures of Laura taken by Ryan.

She smiled sweetly at Laura while saying,

"Let's see the results first."

Laura ran towards Ryan. With enthusiasm he saw the results of a photo of himself taken by Ryan.

He smiled broadly at all the photos of himself he saw on Ryan's phone screen.

Ryan's eyes could not be separated from the beautiful face of Laura who was smiling at him. The more days he was more and more amazed at Laura. His perseverance in work, his good attitude, his loyalty and sacrifice for his family. All of that became the attraction of Laura in Ryan's eyes.

Ryan just admires it. She realizes that Laura already has a husband and she is not the type of man who grabs someone else's partner.

He could only help Laura. And he tried to take care of her in his own way.

The sun is back in the room. Such a dazzling sight could not be simply missed by Laura. He invited Ryan to enjoy the beautiful sunset on the beach.

The two of them sat by the beach enjoying the enchanting scenery. The sunset makes the atmosphere romantic for those who see it.

Ryan and Laura. They both want to see the sunset together with their respective partners.

"Laura, we'll soon have dinner with Mr. Renaldi. We better get back to the resort now," Ryan asked as he reached out to Laura to help her stand up from her seat.

Laura received a helping hand from her boss. They walked hand in hand to the resort where they were staying tonight.

Suddenly the two of them were shocked to see a woman they recognized as the secretary of Renaldi. The woman is standing between Ryan and Laura's doorstep.

"Sorry Sir, Mom. Mr. Renaldi has prepared clothes for you," said Renaldi's secretary while holding out two paper bags to Ryan and Laura.

"Well, Mr. Renaldi really entertained us. Give our thanks to him" Ryan told Renaldi's secretary.

"Okay sir, I'll tell you. Don't forget to have dinner with Mr. Renaldi. He will wait in a special place outside" Renaldi said, bowing his head at the end of his words as a sign of respect before he left them.

After the departure of Renaldi's secretary from before them, Laura and Ryan went into their respective rooms. They were getting ready for dinner with Renaldi while talking back about their cooperation.

Ryan's eyes did not blink looking at Laura who was wearing a gifting dress from Renaldi. The black dress that looks very fitting on Laura's body makes her curves look very beautiful. White smooth Laura looks very contrasting with the color of the dress. And Laura now looks very graceful in front of Ryan.

If he could be mine, I would be so happy, Ryan said in his heart.

Laura looked at herself from bottom to top because Ryan was suddenly silent when he saw her. Then he moved his hand right in front of Ryan's face and said,

"Sir... Mr. Ryan.. What's the matter, sir? Is there something wrong with my appearance?"
