Chapter 50: Remote surveillance

After Arsenio came out of her room and received a call from Devan, she went back inside her room. 

Arsenio ruffled the contents of her bag. He was looking for something he needed.

Where's that device? asked Arsenio in her heart.

He looked very frustrated looking for something he was looking for in his bag. This will help him find out about his wife's whereabouts.

Arsenio let out a sigh that felt heavy to her. The tool was not found. He looked towards his wife who was still soundly asleep and said in his heart,

I have to get that thing. I couldn't watch him for twenty-four hours. I should be able to watch him, no matter what.

After that he again lay down next to his wife by looking at the back of his wife who was behind him.

The next day, Laura left first. He left Arsenio who was still in the bathroom at the time. She prepared breakfast for her husband.

Arsenio came out of her room wearing her tie. His eyes circled the dining room and kitchen in search of his wife.

However, he did not find the figure he was looking for. He only found a sealed hood on the dining table.

"Darling..Darling let's eat," cried Arsenio as she unscrewed the hood.

After a few seconds of sitting in the dining chair, he looked around to find his wife.

"Where is he? Why isn't he here?" asked Arsenio who monologued as her eyes rolled around her surroundings.

Suddenly his throat was dry. Get him out of his seat and walk to the fridge.

His eyes were fixed on a red paper attached to the door of the refrigerator.

I had breakfast at the dinner table. I'm leaving for work first. Clean the dining table before leaving for work. 

Arsenio sighed at the message written by his wife. He was disappointed with his current situation. And he felt Laura's attitude had changed since her wife was working.

"Why is he more busy now than I am? What exactly is his job at RAZ? It seems like I have to buy the item in order to keep an eye on him" said Arsenio, who was staring at his wife's text on a piece of paper she was holding.

He returned to the dining room and ate his breakfast alone. Lonely, he felt lonely without his wife present at the dining table.

"She was usually in front of me despite being angry. But I've never been this lonely" said Arsenio, who felt his life had changed a little, unlike what his wife always prepared.

What's more according to his wife's message he has to take care of everything after finishing eating. It was very tiring for him who was always taken care of by his wife.

Even if he lived alone, it was certain that his house would be very messy by him.

Finished washing his dishes, he immediately picked up his briefcase and suit in a hurry. He left for work without putting the leftovers back into the kitchen or closing them back with a hood. Even the door of his house had forgotten to be locked.

In his office, Arsenio's thoughts were still on his wife. He could not focus on working even though it had already been forced by him.

Kessy went into Arsenio's room. He shook his head when he saw Arsenio was staring blankly at the window of the room.

Kessy waved her hand in front of Arsenio's face intending to resuscitate her. Unfortunately Arsenio still remains on her daydream.

Kessy hit Arsenio's arm and said,

"Arsenio! Sweetheart! We have a meeting with Mr. Devan of the company Gemilang Sejahtera now. Have you prepared everything?" 

Arsenio was shocked. He immediately got up from his seat and immediately prepared the files he would bring to meet Devan.

"You should leave first. I'll bring my own car because I'll go somewhere first."

"Where are you going? What about the meeting? We should have left together" said Kessy, who did not accept Arsenio leaving without her.

"I'm leaving now" said Arsenio who had walked towards the door.

"Arsenio! Wait for me!" exclaim Kessy while walking following Arsenio.

"Don't make me angry and won't work with you anymore. Hurry up and do as I tell you," Arsenio's orders were firmly on Kessy who was walking behind her.

Kessy stopped her steps. He stared at Arsenio's back with a sigh of disappointment that could not be with her.

Arsenio remained on his decision. He did not listen to what Kessy had to say to him. His thoughts were only on Laura, his wife who felt increasingly distant from him.

Arsenio's car turned on the shops he frequented. He bought an item that he thought could help him keep an eye on his wife.

After buying the item, Arsenio immediately headed to the meeting place that Devan had determined.

This cooperation is very important to him. He didn't want to miss it just like that. Because his performance is now at stake with all the cooperation he will do.

Now, he was already in the place that Devan had determined for their meeting. A five-star hotel that is very luxurious and certainly not inferior to the hotel that they previously used as their initial meeting place.

Kessy was sitting opposite Devan. They talked to each other and did not look awkward at all.

Arsenio looked in surprise at Devan who was not accompanied by anyone. In his heart he said,

Why was he alone and not accompanied by his secretary? Never mind, I shouldn't have thought of that. Right now I have to think about my job, my debts and my wife.

"Good day sir. I'm sorry I'm a little late" Arsenio said as she extended her hand.

Kessy and Devan stopped their conversation and turned towards Arsenio who was standing next to their table.

Devan received Arsenio's hand and shook it, saying,

"It seems I'm the one who came too soon sir."

After that Arsenio sat in a chair near Kessy and took out all the necessary documents for their cooperation agreement.

It was only for a few moments that their deal was done. After that they ended the meeting.

"Thank you sir, may our cooperation run smoothly" Arsenio said, shaking hands with Devan before he left.

"Good Sir. I hope everything will go well" said Devan, who was shaking hands with Arsenio.

After that Arsenio said goodbye to leave the place first without inviting Kessy to return to the office with him.

Kessy blinked her eyes at Devan who had been looking at her with interest after Arsenio's departure.

Devan smiled flirtatiously at Kessy who was in front of him. Even Kessy has now coded him to leave the place immediately.

Devan immediately got out of his seat. He gave Kessy the code to hold her hand. In her potent style, Kessy immediately wrestled with Devan's arm and walked into the hotel elevator.

Suddenly Arsenio returned to the hotel restaurant with a map that he would give Devan. He sees Kessy and Devan getting into the hotel elevator. He also said,

"Where are the two of them going?"
