Chapter 8: The Party

Laura explains to Arsenio that she has work to do. Unfortunately Arsenio did not just believe him.

He was suspicious of his wife. But he did not want to make his suspicions even more protracted. He tried to believe in his wife even though in his heart he was unsure.

That morning Arsenio went home alone without his wife. It turned out that Laura's filming was extended by a few more hours. While Arsenio in a few hours must be present at the office to participate as a judge in the audition of the star of the product ad that became his current project.

Laura had to go home with her team just as they had left earlier. On her way home, Laura thought about how she would not meet her husband at the event.

After a while, Laura finally arrived at her house.

"Hufffttt. It felt like I should rest for a while before I leave for that place," Laura muttered as she shrieked her body to stretch her muscles.

He walked while watching his surroundings. It turned out that everything was still the same as at the time of his abandonment.

"Didn't he come home?" murmured Laura whose eyes were still peeping in every part of the room of her house.

"It looks like he's headed straight for his office. Never mind, I better rest my body first" said Laura who walked into her room.

He activated his alarm so as not to be late to carry out his mission.

Hours passed, now that it was getting late, Laura was preparing herself by bringing some clothes and equipment to disguise her.

The sound of cars entering his yard. Laura rushed to secure the bag she would carry later to carry out her mission.

Arsenio's footsteps were clearly heard in Laura's sense of hearing. She immediately came out of her room to greet her husband.

"Have you gone home yet?" laura asked with a smile welcoming her husband.

Arsenio returned his wife's smile and nodded her head as she walked over to his wife.

"What time are you home?" arsenio asked after kissing his wife's forehead.

"It's been since noon today, Mas" Laura replied with a sweet smile to her husband.

Laura walked up to her husband and said,

"Tumben Mas Arsen is home at this hour?"

Arsenio turned to his wife who was beside him and said,

"You forget I'll have a party at the company I told you about yesterday?"

Laura smiled stiffly at her husband and said,

"Sorry, I forgot."

Arsenio held both of his wife's hands and stared fixedly at her bead eyes as she said,

"Come with me tonight. I beg you."

Laura turned her gaze by looking the other way. Then he said,

"I'm sorry. I can't."

Arsenio sighed. He let go of his wife's hand. Disappointed, he felt very disappointed at this moment.

He walked into his room without saying anything to his wife. 

Laura looked at her husband with a pushy look. She understood that her husband was now disappointed in her.

However, he couldn't do anything. For him at this time the most important thing is to carry out his mission so that his mother's debts can be quickly paid.

Laura took her breath and shook her head as she said inwardly,

Enough Laura, you have to ignore your feelings first. Now the most important thing is to carry out the mission that has been given to you.

Laura looked towards the clock hanging on the wall. He exhaled when he saw that the clock was already showing the numbers five and twelve.

I have to leave right now, Laura said in her heart.

He immediately walked into his room to pick up his bag.

Aman. It looks like I have to take that bag now. Cuddling she was in the bathroom, Laura said in her heart.

Laura stepped inside her room and she immediately picked up the bag she had hidden earlier.

Slowly she stepped up so as not to be heard by her husband. Step by step he did very carefully while hugging his bag towards the door of the room.

"Where are you going?" 

Suddenly Arsenio's voice that managed to surprise Laura so that her footsteps stopped.

Slowly Laura looked back. She had to smile at her husband and say,

"I have to leave soon."

Arsenio frowned at the answer from his wife. His eyes were fixed on the bag being hugged by his wife.

"What's that?" arsenio asked as she pointed at the bag hugged by his wife.

"Mmm.. This is a bag of supplies that I will bring to work later," answered Laura who suddenly nervously answered her husband's question.

Arsenio looked suspiciously at his wife and said,

"Why carry a big bag? Why not just bring a briefcase? Aren't you going home tonight?"

Laura breathed her breath. He tipped the bag he had been holding. He tried to strengthen his heart. After that he said,

"This is my gear that contains clothes and so on for events outside. But the show wasn't long. And I'll be home even if it's a little late."

Arsenio sighed and looked at his wife as if she objected. Of course he objected, he was eager to take his wife to the party and introduce and show off his beautiful and talented wife to everyone.

Laura approached her husband and kissed him on the cheek. After that he said,

"sorry. I'm leaving first."

After saying that, he rushed out of his room and left for the party venue.

Arsenio smiled at his wife's behavior as before. Her disappointment and suspicion were slightly treated because of the cheek kiss that Laura gave her.

After a while, Laura was at the party. The party was so luxurious because it was held in a five-star hotel. 

Laura booked a hotel room to smooth her plans. After she placed her bag in her room, she immediately headed for the party wearing the typical clothes of a male servant.

He saw his appearance in front of the mirror. A plain face without makeup with a tompel on his cheek, as well as white clothes and black pants, and wearing a male hair model's flattened wig became his disguise appearance this time.

"Let's Laura, do your best so that this mission can be completed quickly and you get the money" said Laura cheered herself in front of the mirror.

Laura is at the party. He follows the waiter to pick up a gear that can convince the person who sees him that he really is a waiter at the party.

He saw some vests and bow ties lying in the place of the waiters.

Laura looked left and right, after feeling safe, she immediately took the waistcoat and bow tie and put it on. 

With confidence Laura came out of the dressing room and immediately helped to prepare for the party.

He saw that Arsenio was already present there and was chatting with his comrades. Laura tried not to let him cross paths with her husband.

He saw a tall woman always approaching Arsenio and wrapped her hands around Arsenio's arms. Her eyes were always watching the movements of the woman and her husband.

"Just look if you play with fire with her Mas" murmured Laura with great annoyance.

Suddenly in front of Laura was a floating panel that usually gave missions for her.

It is written that Laura must save her husband so as not to fall into the trap of people who have bad intentions for him.

It was also written that Laura would get a bonus worth four times the prize obtained for her mission.

Laura was stunned to read the mission. Until he realized when a waitress nudged him and apologized to him. Laura grew shocked when the waitress passed a floating panel that was still clearly visible to Laura.

"Mas Arsen was framed? How do I save him?" muttered Laura who was still watching her husband from where he was standing at this moment.
