Chapter 60: The process of cooperation

Hearing Arsenio's explanation of what they had to offer in this cooperation left Ryan speechless. He smiled faintly and looked at Arsenio when he thought about it.

"How sir, are you interested in our offer?" arsenio asked anxiously to Ryan.

Ryan turned his head to the side, where Laura was sitting next to him. He smiled at her and said,

"How's Laura? Do you like it?"

Just turn Laura wide. He was surprised to hear the question Ryan had given him. 

It was not only Laura who was shocked to hear it. Even Arsenio felt that Ryan was mocking her by heating her up.

As for Kessy, she noticed between Ryan and Laura. The relationship between them is not just a job relationship.

"Sa-i Sir?" asked Laura doubtfully.

Ryan smiled and nodded his head as he said,

"Did you like it? If you like it, I agree. But if you don't like it, we better find something else."

Instantly Laura nodded her head and said,

"I like Sir. I like it."

Ryan who was still staring at Laura smiled looking at her expression at this moment. He saw there was guilt in Laura's eyes. And Ryan knows it.

Ryan's eyes turned to the happily smiling Arsenio at this moment seeing Laura agree to the cooperation. He smiled faintly as he said,

"Alright Mr. Arsenio. Since Laura likes it, then there is no reason for me not to agree to it. Even Laura chose this company and you to work with us. I can only obey him."

Laura turned to Ryan and looked at him with a look of disbelief.

"Sir, but didn't you just ask me to vote?" asked Laura who seemed to not understand the words of her boss.

Ryan smiled and looked at Laura meaningfully. He also said,

"Because I really appreciate your work."

Laura was speechless. She was overwhelmed by what Ryan said. He felt very appreciated by his boss.

Arsenio stared dislikefully at Ryan who was acting that way at Laura. He's jealous of her. Jealousy, resentment and anger now ruled his heart. 

His chest rumbled to see Ryan's eyes look at Laura who seemed to adore him so much.

Arsenio's hands clenched to hold back her emotions. Kessy smiled at the sight of the love triangle before her. In his heart he said,

Very clever of you Laura can conquer a high level person like her. But I thank you for helping me so much. I don't have to be tired of presenting my body to him for this cooperation.

Kessy turned her head towards the side where Arsenio was sitting and held back her anger seeing his wife eye-to-eye with her boss.

Kessy's hand held Arsenio's clenched hand. He tried to calm her in his own way.

Arsenio looked at Kessy's hand holding her hand. Then he looked towards Kessy who was smiling at him.

Ryan turned to look at Arsenio who was in front of him and said,

"Alright Sir. We agreed to this partnership."

Laura looked at her husband. She stared angrily at her husband who was looking at her with Kessy holding her hand and smiling at him.

Ryan saw it too. He smiled at what was happening in front of him.

Arsenio turned to Ryan after hearing his voice calling out to him.

Kessy immediately threw her hand when she saw his wife looking at him as if she was angry with him. He was very grateful to his wife for being able to successfully convince Ryan to work with him. And he did not want his wife to misunderstand and be angry with him so that the cooperation was canceled.

My fate is in Laura's hands. I can't make him mad at me, Arsenio said in her heart.

"Prepare the files and meet us at the office for the signing" Ryan said firmly and leaning his back on the chair.

Arsenio's lips curved upwards. His eyes also sparkled as if he was getting the lottery at the moment.

"Okay sir, I will prepare everything and soon I will meet you at the office" said Arsenio with great enthusiasm.

Ryan smiled and nodded his head. Then he said,

"I will wait for your arrival. Now you can go. I'm sorry Laura and I can't take you both out. We still have business here."

Arsenio was surprised to hear Ryan's words as if he was driving her away. He looked at his wife who also looked surprised to hear him. 

And so did Kessy. He grinned at Ryan's words. Then he turned to look at Laura with a smile of disdain for her.

Kessy stood up from her seat and extended her hand to Ryan, smiling and saying,

"We're leaving first sir. I hope your day will be fun."

Ryan stood up. He received Kessy's hand saying,

"thank you. I hope your day is also very memorable."

Kessy smiled sweetly at Ryan's words. In his mind, Ryan was as he thought. 

With a heavy heart Arsenio stood up from her seat and extended her hand to Ryan.

"Thank you for believing in us, sir. Soon I will meet you" Arsenio said as she shook hands with Ryan.

Ryan smiled and nodded his head as he shook hands with Arsenio. Then he said,

"I'll look forward to your best work sir."

Arsenio turned towards his wife who was still sitting in her place. Ryan understood the meaning of Arsenio's gaze on Laura. He also said,

"Laura, soon our food will come. After that we'll continue what we were going to do."

Again Ryan's words made Arsenio and Kessy think badly of both of them. They thought Laura and Ryan would do something like a couple in a hotel room.

As for Laura, she just stared confusedly at her boss. She doesn't understand what Ryan is telling her.

Pass on? What were we gonna do? What were we gonna do earlier? Then what should continue? Laura wondered in her heart.

Kessy pulls Arsenio's hand out of the place. With a heavy heart Arsenio left the room even though his heart did not want to leave his wife in a hotel room with other men. 

When Arsenio and Kessy came out of the room, it was fitting for them to cross paths with the waiter who entered the room with a food trolley that was certainly very tempting and made the stomach become hungry.

They both stared at the waiter and the food in the food trolley until they entered the room.

"Your wife is very smart to seduce her boss. He's got the luxury of being with his boss" Kessy said, chuckling at Arsenio.

Arsenio stared intently at Kessy and walked away leaving her. Kessy walked quickly trying to catch up to Arsenio who walked very quickly left him.

"What do you think they're gonna do in that hotel room? Surely they'll–"

"Enough Kessy! Don't think badly of him!" sahut Arsenio resolutely and looked at Kessy with her cruel gaze.

Kessy stood in front of Arsenio and held her hands together to stop her steps.

"Everyone will think the same way as me. I'm sure you think the same of me. So.. don't hesitate to contact me if you need a friend to complain and comfort you," said Kessy while blinking one eye.

Arsenio turned to the room and said in her heart,

Are you really doing that Laura?
