ACT 3: Chapter 3 - Run!
Tap tap tap. The sound of feet approaching. Hearing that, Kurls immediately stood guard by the door.
He had been on guard until this morning, and continued to listen and observe all the doors and windows.
And because this hostel is quite spacious, he can not get bored by just staying in one place.
("He's here?") Kurls whispered softly as she approached the door without a sound.
"Next the Larvest family? Uhh, I want to meet Miss Suzu, but I'm also worried about her situation yesterday!"
"Really! He was immediately shocked when he heard the announcement that was in the Adventurer Guild. And because of that, the families that were here were being held back to go home to avoid the worst possible. Maybe I'm happy, but it's not good for Miss Suzu. I hope he's okay." Answer the other one.
Hearing that, Kurls immediately exited the room, then stood at the door, right before the two of them knocked on the door.
They're both girls, like Suzu's classmates. In their hands was a rough brown paper, with some pictures on it.
"I'm sorry, Miss Suzu is being undisturbed. I also can't leave Miss alone for long enough." Kurls went straight to the core while bowing, apologizing.
They took a little look, then gave the paper to Kurls.
"Umm, we understand the situation. We're just here to deliver this. Be careful if you meet them, and catch them alive!" one of them blinked his eyes.
Kurls took it and read it at a glance.
"Isn't this?!" kurls' eyes grew bigger when he read that.
On the paper was Aina's perfect face sketch, and Kurls's face sketch. Kurls's is not as clear as Aina's, but it does exist.
"Eh, if you look at it again, you-" one of them took a look.
"I'm sorry, if there's nothing else important, I'll go back in. I'll make some tea for Miss Suzu." Kurls immediately cut in, and entered.
Everyone looked puzzled, but only left while shrugging.
Kurls took a breath of relief as they left. And in front of him, there was already Suzu who was brewing three cups of tea, looking at Kurls calmly.
Instantly Kurls remembered what she did last night, and immediately bowed.
"Miss Suzu! Forgive me for the lack of my teachings yesterday! Sa"
"A-Ahh, stop. I understand what Uncle did. And also thanks to that you know, I can be calmer now" Suzu said as she sipped her tea.
Kurls again took a breath of relief.
"Eh?" Aina woke up due to some commotion. Her silver hair was random scrambles, which made her look cute.
Suzu put down her tea quickly, then immediately ran over, and jumped towards Aina.
"Uhh! You are so cute Aina! You are a healer to me!" suzu shouted as she stroked elus on her cheek to Aina's hair.
"Sir Suzu, ouchh, don't be. Amused! Oh yea! See what Uncle Kurls brought? It looks like he has something in his hand!" yelled Aina, trying to distract.
Kurls was a little surprised, then immediately understood and gave the paper away.
"Ahh, don't be surprised by that. I don't know, but I got it this morning." explains Kurls.
They read the paper slowly.
"Buronan Academy. Catch them alive." They both fell silent, making a moment of silence.
"DANIM!!!!" that's what happened a few days later.
"W-what does this mean? Aina?! Aina became a fugitive?! What is this?! W-why? Did A-Aina do anything bad?" Aina shouted stuttered.
Suzu also looked confused while shaking her head in disbelief.
"No! As far as I know, teacher Weiss would not pursue something without any logical reason!" suzu replied, because Weiss is the principal of Furyuun Academy.
Hearing that name, Aina's forehead shriveled. Looks like there's something he's thinking.
"Weiss, Weiss. It seems that name I know." whispered Aina.
"Isn't that a common name?" answer Kurls now speak up. Aina heard that, and shook her head quickly.
"No! I can't forget this name!" yelled Aina sure.
Everyone looked at each other, looking at such a confident Aina.
"Umm, Miss Suzu. At least, show Mr. Weiss's painting, who knows Aina knows this Weiss. In addition, there are several reasons we were chased yesterday." Kurls suggested while recalling yesterday's events.
"I don't understand, but fine." replied Suzu with a small nod.
He picked up a book, on which the Rules of the Academy were written. It was clearly the rule book of this Academy.
"Umm, this is the guy. I think he's quite mysterious" Suzu said as she pointed at a picture of the person in the book's foreword.
Aina immediately approached, then she immediately jumped back.
His eyes were wide, his body was also shaking violently. Even to speak, his lips could not. Seen from his extremely pale face, he was extremely frightened.
"She, she was the one who ordered me back then!" yell Aina.
"Well?!!" Suzu shouted in disbelief.
Aina breathed a few times, then told Suzu and Kurls about her past. It took a great deal of courage, but somehow Aina got through it.
It also made Suzu's face turn pale, considering Aina's age and her age was not too far away.
Suzu repeatedly said it was impossible for herself to repeat it like a broken radio.
After quite a while, Suzu finally started to calm down.
"alright. Let's just assume it's true. There is no safe place in the Academy. Besides, it would be dangerous if we stayed here." continued Suzu with a pale face.
"That's right. Even if it's risky, we need to get out there and find the right shelter." Kurls now chimed in.
Everyone looked surprised and confused by the situation.
"I have a good hiding place" Suzu said.
"But to be honest, it's not a wise choice for us to stay in this city. It's good that Aina has to get out of this city. This is the first way."
"The second way is to resuscitate the mayor and get the whole town to side with us" he continued.
"It was an impossible thing because according to brother's explanation, this Weiss is the principal of this Academy. He must also have connections with the mayor. It's good to choose the first way." responded Aina gave her opinion.
"But, to be honest since Furyuun was an important city for the Kin Kingdom, this city had many guards."
Now they all go back down.
Even with Kurls' abilities, she is unable to handle many people at once. His abilities are strong in one-on-one combat, but weak in one-on-many.
That's why they won't choose the hard way.
"But, Sister Suzu. Brother want to come? Isn't this going against the Academy? It'll be bad for your reputation!" aina disagreed.
"Just calm! As long as it's invisible, I'm fine!" suzu said sure.
"But..." Aina still doesn't want to.
"Just calm! Besides, I'm the only one who knows where the hideout is!" suzu said while giving her thumbs up.

"Calm down" that's what Suzu said, but...
BOOM!!!
"Don't run you Suzu!" many people were shouting after the three of them. Even a lot of magic was already released, to stop it.
"Uguhu! I-i'm sorry! I'm sorry!!" Suzu shouted apologetically as she continued running.
Suzu initially runs on the roof, along with Kurls and Aina beside her. But he was too careless, so he tripped over a piece of wood and made the three of them fall.
And the three of them fell right in the middle of the crowd that was looking for Aina.
"Ahh you! Listen to my explanation first!" Suzu shouted while putting up a barrier, and some ground floated up to block the incoming magic.
But what power, no one wants to listen to it. It is impossible to talk to them from this side.
"Yahoo!!!! They don't want to listen! Everyone, I'm sorry!!" Suzu cried out half-crying.
"Humm, if this is the case, there's no other way!" Kurls jumped, twisting in the air. He cast a special spell, then quickly took it out.
"Dark Magic's. [Illusion]!!" her yell.
Instantly, the entire place was covered in black smoke with the group of 3 people fleeing towards the passageway.
"That's them! Chase it!" one of the pursuers noticed her, then chased after them.
The smoke has not disappeared, even though the situation has become quiet. It's also quite strange why the city can become deserted when it's daytime.
"Hufft, thank you, uncle Kurls! You are so amazing!" sayup I heard Aina's praise.
"Uhh, once again, forgive my carelessness! It wouldn't have happened if I wasn't careless!" suzu said regretfully.
"It's okay, Miss Suzu. Let's continue the journey. Looks like we're close." Kurls replied.
They were now on the roof, with Suzu in the carrying behind while Aina in front of Kurls. Kurls looks like a baby sitter now.
Kurls still had time to jump to outwit the pursuers just now.
The two of them got down, and ran back to where they were headed by Suzu.

"Hufft, we're finally here" Suzu said as she closed the bunker door.
The place that Suzu means is the place that used to be the office of the underground water installation, which is now unused.
This is indeed a suitable place to be used as a hiding place, because the place is in the culvert.
"Well, now we have to think about the next step!" said Suzu who sat exhausted after closing the door. That's a rather large door.
They all sighed. Because Suzu's name is now polluted, however.
"Yes. There's probably only one way now." Mumbled Aina slowly.
