ACT 6: Chapter 10 - Before the disaster

("Crazy power!!") kurls shouted in his heart. After all, the thread he had was made of mithril, one of the few strongest metals that could be formed before Adamantiun.

Being able to loosen it with just ordinary strength, Kurls could not gauge how powerful the enemy he was facing this time around was. And also, Mithril was not something that could be pulled that easily.

In other words, it was indeed Gordo's ability.

Kurls was again startled, but he was still able to fend off Gordo's first attack, stopping the attack just before his sword pierced through Kurls' dafa.

"Kuh...." Kurls clasped slowly, before feeling a great power flowing into her hands. He knew, he would not be able to withstand the attack, and tried his hardest just to change Gordo's attack.

Hundreds of clanging sounds rang out loud, making the ears that heard ringing.

Well, it's pretty heavy, but it's easy for me, you know?" said Gordo belittlingly while laughing, making Kurls could only stare in disbelief.

Kurls was just silent, gawking, with a blank look that radiated in her eyes. After all, he could not accept that he was sacrificing for something that was of no use to him.

"Ahh, since the beginning you weren't even serious, were you?" kurls asked slowly, before he finally fell, closing his eyes on the pit created from his own blood.

Kurls realized that when he held Gordo, and fought with all his strength there. While Gordo himself just play with her.

He realized that Gordo had already planned it all, to focus on pursuing Ruly and Lulu.

It was a while before the fight between Gordo and Kurls began. In other words, this was the first time Kurls had tried to buy time for Ruly to escape.

Actually, Ruly wanted to deny that, but she knew. Kurls held Gordo alone for the two of them.

Ruly gritted her teeth slowly, before finally clenching her hands, restraining the resentment within her.

"Alright, Lulu! Then, we run as hard as we can! Don't blame me for being left behind, you!!" ruly said with a bitter smile on her face.

That way, the two of them ran as hard as they could, towards the city of Cerida which could be taken for about half a day if they ran.

"Miss!! Watch out!!" lulu's loud screams rang out, as the two of them were still focused on escaping. Ruly who heard it did not turn her head, but she felt a push from behind her, and realized that Lulu was pushing her with all her might.

It was a black object, which now turned into a sharp object that attacked the two of them!!

"LANGUO!!" the two overlapping cries rang out, along with the sound of objects piercing through one's body.

It was the Dark Magic Gordo, which he unleashed upon finishing delivering a deadly blow to the Kurls. In other words, now Gordo was laughing happily, looking at the Kurls that fell in his hands with just a single punch.

And actually, since the beginning Dark Magic Gordo had already followed Ruly, but when they were about to go too far, Gordo attacked her.

He targets Ruly, knowing that she is the one being protected by Kurls and Lulu. But she did not expect, Lulu actually jumped to protect Ruly.

"Lulu! Lulu!! Keep your consciousness! Let me carry you and take you to the nearest town!!" ruly yelled while trying to reach Lulu, who was starting to have trouble standing up.

"No, Brother Ruly! What do you mean? Wh why? Hey!" ren shouted from the other side. But, Ruly was seen not hearing her, and just continued to drift quietly towards the light.

"Hey! Brother! Did you hear me?!" ren shouted again, getting more worried.

But the person he called remained the same, there was no answer, either voice or movement.

"SILLY!!" shouted Ren again, now firmly. With no answer, Ren became a little annoyed, and tried to run. But when Ren's few steps are pursued, a transparent wall restrains Ren, causing him to fall to stare at Ruly's back, and begin to disappear into the light.

"WHOA!!" the sound of screaming sounded echoed, followed by several sounds of objects that sounded falling due to the carelessness of the person who shouted. With a slight regret, the person immediately cleaned up all the falling objects, scattered around him.

"Ware!! I overslept!!" ren shouted in panic.

Perhaps due to exhaustion, either physically or mentally, Ren had just fallen asleep while making an MP potion on his desk. He immediately moved to a place where a liquid had already entered into some neatly packed bottles.

"What did that dream mean, huh?" ask Ren slowly.

The dream he was referring to was the one that Ruly had left behind who stepped into the light while she was being held in a strange barrier.

Ren was silent for a moment, before his face became bad at the thought of some things that might happen. But quickly, he patted her hard on the face, and shook his head quickly.
