ACT 3: Chapter 22 - Resurrection and Nightmares
Different sky, again.
I woke up in a strange dark room, where I could not see around the room, but I could see my body clearly.
I'm cold, it looks like it's water?
I thought the last time I was fighting that monster, didn't I?
"Ahh, means I'm dead, again?" I could only see my hand now covered in wounds. Not only that, my body my limbs can't be moved properly anymore.
I felt a hole in the chest, and felt a hole there. Ugh, this is terrible.
"Well, what more if the opponent is like that, how could I possibly survive, right?" I just nodded, muttering softly.

I feel pain in my chest. Nah! My heart is gone, but I can still feel pain?
!!!
Ahhhh!!! My head was filled with cries of agony from the crowd!!!
!!!
Suddenly came the people who walked from the darkness, who walked like zombies. I tried to run, but even from the opposite direction they were approaching.
"What the hell is this? Ahhhhhh!!!" I tried to stay away from the creature, but the pain in my head continued.
I fell to my knees, enduring the pain.
The sound of a voice rang out in my head, the sound of asking for help from the crowd. But when I looked up at the sky, there was a kind of screen in the dark black sky.
"Oahh!! No!! Ren! Help u! Help us!!" I saw the shadow of Edna's sister who was captured by the monster.
"No! Stop that!!" I screamed, tried to reach him, but I just fell while trying to run, falling into this watery place.
"Rin! Help me!" now the voice is heard from behind me.
"Mother?!" mom was behind me, walking with a limp.
It was so bad, that his left hand was missing, with blood flowing down his forehead. I didn't stop panicking, approached her.
"Mother! How come? How could you possibly get here? No no no no! I have to try to cure Mom!" I was so panicked I couldn't think anymore.
SRATT!!
The voice was clearly heard from my mother.
I could see the mother who was pierced by the monster's claws earlier.
"Why, Ren? Why don't you help mom?!" mom was leaning on my shoulder, with her mouth bleeding.
I just widened my eyes, not knowing what to do.
"No! The opening! This is not reality!" I screamed and knelt.
Instantly, on my knee appeared someone, it was Syila! Syila was lying down, and my hand somehow moved to hold her.
"Why? Why Ren? Why don't you help me?" Syila said that, and then she ran away.
"No."
"Why don't you help me?!" this time it was Edna's voice.
"Why don't you help me?!" it's Aina's voice.
"Rin? Why don't you help us?!" which is now Suzu's voice.
I can't stand the sound of a voice that keeps getting in my head. While I can only close my ears even though it all still sounds clear.
Without me noticing, the zombie around me had already come, and clung to me. They all have red eyes and say the same thing.
"Come on! Get angry! Fall into your anger!!!" and somehow, I started getting into that water slowly.
"No!" whatisthis? What kind of horror scene is this?
"No!!" I could only scream, close my eyes.

"More?" it was the faint voice of Edna calling out to me.
"No!!!" I opened my eyes quickly, then found Edna's right face on top of mine, watching me.
Is this genuine? Is this reality?
That's what I first thought when I saw Edna's sister. I tried to touch her face, then I touched my own.
"Thank God!!" edna hugged me, crying like she didn't care about anything.
Waitaminute! Aren't I dead? Wh why? Is this the real world? Or the dream world? And what was that?
I clearly remember what happened to me. I immediately felt my chest, trying to ascertain my heart.
Crazy one! It's completely sealed off perfectly, and there's no trace of forgetting one bit! Can Edna use [Sanctuary] too?
I tried to sit, even though Edna's sister was still on my shoulder, crying. I looked around.
We see the half-destroyed city of Furyuun, and strange cloudy clouds. Looks like it's going to rain.
"Thank God Ren!! I thought you were dead!" edna is still crying.
It rained, making us both wet.
It wiped away Edna's tears, and of course made me cold, so I immediately stood up while calming Edna a little.
"Well, I'm actually dead." I said scratching my head.
"Did? What's?" as usual, Edna's response was quick!
"I'll explain everything later. For now, let's go back and say hello to the people who are there, to get what we should be getting." I said.
Edna just smiled, then nodded. We were going to walk, when I almost fell because I really did not have the energy.
"Rin! I thought you weren't okay! Wait out! I'll call for help to take you for a moment!" edna looks worried about me again.
Rather than that, I was more worried about Kurls' uncle, Suzu, Aina, and mother.
But what a power, I can't do anything right now.
There was still half a mask on my left face, so I took it off. My vision that was a bit reddish has now returned to normal. Besides, I could feel a burning pain all over my body.
Shortly thereafter, people appeared carrying objects similar to palanquins that were moved by magic, so the ones that lifted were lighter.
I let people take me on stretchers, to the city hall.
Uhh, I became a spectacle material for people.
Unlike the beginning when I showed myself as a human, they did not look down on me anymore.
They looked at me with respect, and grateful eyes. It is not uncommon for many children to wave their hands at me, smiling.
Though my appearance is now really ragged camping, even to stand alone I can not afford it now.
Looks like I made it. I managed to make a human like myself appreciated. Yep. It's so much fun.
I don't know, but the fatigue is piling up right now, so I'm gonna take a little nap maybe?
