ACT 3: Chapter 8 - Reunion and Plan
"alright. So, what's going on?" I was sitting in a room like a work room.
Pretty clean, really. But you could say not too worthy.
Edna's sister is still healing my body. This took quite a long time because the ice peg had already pierced through my stomach. That hurts too.
"alright. Well then, I'll tell you a little bit about what happened after that" Suzu said.
The point is, after I left, Suzu became panicked, and worried. You could say, he was depressed after learning of the terrible news.
Aina also got information from a party called the Black Crow that had passed through to Eldergale, she said Eldergale had already been destroyed, flattened to the ground. And he said there was no hope anymore.
It's normal for Suzu to be like that when she sees me appearing to arrive before her.
But, a new problem arises. There was a slave merchant who had once taken Aina hostage, who had again attacked her. Luckily, there was an uncle Kurls who saved Aina back then.
It was later discovered that the person who ordered Aina was Weiss, the principal of Furyuun Academy.
I did want to meet that person, and beat him up, but I didn't expect the matter to be this complicated.
"alright. That way, Weiss took out his power to get people to look for you." I started to understand.
"And that's why you became fugitives and you have to hide here" I continued.
They all fell silent, down. It seems like what I said just now was true, because they did not deny it in the least.
Waitaminute! Child boy? A kidnapping? Ahh, I have a really amazing idea!
"As expected of Ren, you quickly understand yes!" suzu said breaking the silence.
"Yahh, that's. But did you forget, about this?" I pointed back at my stomach that had just healed.
Suzu looked away, only with a guilty face.
"Yahh, stop. Because we're like this, there's only one way." I smiled.
"Yes. We will help you get out of this city, and evacuate to another city. It would be good to stay here, but since it's already this way you better come with us to Weinien city!" sahut brother Edna.
Heh? Whahuh? Is that the plan?!
"Not so, stupid!" I flicked Edna's forehead, for recklessly taking over the conversation.
He complained quietly while stroking his slightly reddened forehead.
"The only way is for us to fight. Sure, we'll win." I'm spinning in that room.
"Whatchu mean? Against the whole city? And that Weiss? How could we possibly win?! Weiss is a very powerful mage!" suzu shouted in opposition.
Well, if you look at it with ordinary eyes, how could we possibly win.
"Indeed right. We don't have good connections, instead they have. Our strength is lacking, their strength is high, we are not. Only one benefits us. We're on the right side." I walked over to the table, picked up some dull brown paper.
"There's a way, to wake up the community. That's giving evidence. But, it can obviously be reversed by power." I wrote "Proof" on the paper.
"alright. We stop with the evidence. What does it take to make our truth known to the public?" I'm throwing a question.
They all seemed to think hard, knowing that this plan would be related to their fate.
Well, even so, I already had a plan, and I was just guiding them to know my plan.
"Umm, how about we have a witness?" edna raised her hand.
"Yes!" I wrote the word "Witness" on the paper that turned into that whiteboard.
"But, if we bring witnesses, then Weiss can say that they are paid to do this. And sure enough, society will trust people who have been looked up to rather than us foreigners." I crossed out the word "Witness" and replaced it with "Power".
They returned to thinking, and things became quiet once again.
"Hmm how about we present a powerful figure of influence to make a testimony to us?" edna again raised her hand.
It seemed like this was already a question and answer session like teacher and disciple!
"Uhh, this is really hard. How are we supposed to do this if everything we've got is held back by Weiss's power?" Suzu spoke up.
"It's obvious we should eliminate his power!" continued Suzu who crossed her arms was upset.
"Really! Eliminate power! That's also one good way." I wrote it down.
Suzu was a little confused, but let it be.
Now, there's been some writing on the emergency whiteboard. Evidence, witnesses, influential people, and lose power.
That's obviously all I need.
"Well, it's gonna be hard if we don't bring Weiss down, but I've got something better." I gave a big circle to that word.
Edna's big ear moved slightly, indicating she was a little confused.
"I will choose to use them all." I closed my eyes, nodding happily.
All were silent, before shouting, looking at me like I was a freak from another planet. Yes, even though I really am like that.
"Oi, Ren! I've guessed that you'll have a crazy idea for this. But I don't think you're gonna get any of this!" edna said something hurtful easily.
"Ahh, brother Edna. You're the one who should have understood what I meant for everything." I patted the eel, tired.
"The first, the evidence. It's easy to find. Obviously." I put a tick on the evidence.
"Witnesses must be a lot. And I've got a powerful man to take Weiss' power away." I can already imagine.
Just imagining it makes me happy!
"Re-Ren, somehow your face looks scary." Suzu raised her hand slightly while slightly laughing strangely.
"Ah, I'm sorry. All right, brother Edna. Before we get here, what do we get?" I gave him a direct lead.

Edna wanted to say something, but gave up on it.
