ACT 2: Chapter 21 - Exercise
Geck! I heard the door knocking. It was night, and I asked who was knocking on the door.
"Please enter! I'm not doing anything!' I shouted quite loudly, while continuing to write some files.
This is the result of my research, which I published. I also recorded the diary, who knew I could take it with me when I met Shino in nature.
Uhm! The topic is heavy!
"Uhh Ren sorry we interrupted the night." I looked a little.
"We?" I'm watching them. Then, Edna waved her hand at me. Ahh, I can only nod.
"What's wrong? You guys shouldn't be here. This will only add to the problem!" I'm questioning their arrival this time.
Now I'm in the woods behind the Larvest House. This place is a place of trouble.
Ah yeah. Right after my engagement with Syila, I don't know, there was a bit of a problem going on.
There was a new kind of monster that attacked the city, but the strange thing was that it attacked our territory, the territory of the Larvest family. I've confirmed this with Childe, but she doesn't know what either.

They looked surprised, then smiled.
"Ohh, you think you can beat us both? We've progressed quite a distance, you know!" Ruly crossed both her hands.
"Hum! I've risen far from what you guys thought!" Now Edna's sister is also following.
"Then, why not? I'll run out first, and after 10 seconds, you guys have as long as you can to catch me, or beat me. You can give up everything you have, and I'll hold back a little. ("Fog? That so? Did they find me?!") I watched in silence as the mist began to blanket the forest around me.
("No. They haven't found me. This is something that limits the distance of vision, but for those who can do detection, this is not a big deal. And the one who could do that happened to be Edna's sister.") I nodded in understanding.
("And this fog maker must be Brother Ruly. He had talent in the water element, but was lacking in other elements. It is obvious that the humidity of this mist is very high.") I touched the fog slowly, as it began to descend.

I felt my eyes become black and white. This was the mark of someone using detection magic.

"alright. [Serenity]!" I spoke slowly while closing my eyes, activating the [Serenity] skill. This is a skill I gained after researching the death line when Brother Ruly tried to drown me first.

I could see Edna's sister holding the ground startled, and then contacted Ruly's sister who was running towards me. Brother Ruly clicked her tongue, probably annoyed by that.
But I seem to be overreacting too. I should've made this even more exciting.
"Maybe I have to move forward?" I can only nod with certainty.
I immediately left the [Serenity] skill to quickly charge forward towards Brother Edna.
Maybe this is a normal speed for me, but this is no ordinary human speed! I don't know what's going to happen, but I'm still dancing at just this speed.
Bruyuk!! Edna realized what was coming at her, quickly making a 50 cm thick ice wall that surrounded her, while setting up an ice trap.
I did not retreat with it, instead lunging forward to destroy the barrier. I'm sure he won't think about it.
My guess was right, making Edna a little surprised and taking a step back.
Simultaneously, a water magic floated quickly behind me at high speed.
The ice broke with a loud sound, after a split second the trap behind me was active, hitting no one. I smiled slightly, but I felt an existence quickly coming from my right.
"Sister Ruly, is it? Let's see if he's fast enough to hold this?" I whispered softly as my blade floated towards Edna's sister.
The traaang!!! A clanging sound rang loudly, indicating my attack was repelled.
"Wahh, you did it, Brother Ruly! Congratulations!" I was still struggling with Ruly's brother, whose long sword was blocking me.
"I'm flattered!" He jerked, and instantly his body strengthened.
("What?! Buff's magic?!") I was a little surprised, because Edna could channel her magic in time.
As strong as I am after developing these 4 years, still can not hold it easily. I almost used my left hand to hold the blade, but I knew it was dangerous, so I only had the option to slide his sword, to ring along the way and fall cutting the ground.
I had no choice but to step back a little, try to rearrange the strategy.
"Well if that's what you want, I'll serve you first!" I screamed, pulling Brother Ruly for one on one.
I moved quickly between the woods, while continuing to face the side watching Brother Ruly chasing me.

("But not fast enough to wake up my [Critical Perception] huh?") I have rarely heard that skill stir up danger for me.
I just deflected, but still. Power's different! I had to throw a knife to get away.
Silent atmosphere. I can't use [Serenity] because my position of sudha is known. And brother Edna is constantly monitoring my position. I'm also sure, Brother Ruly has been keeping watch around here to attack me.

"No no! I was really cornered this time. Your cooperation is amazing. You could say, you guys are on par with royal knights!" I nodded while cleaning my things.
"Honestly, you can even defeat Childe's father or uncle if you're together, and you fight one of them." I cleaned my body again.
"But with the record, you guys stay together, and work together just like before!" I clapped my hands once, to restore their focus.
"really?" Now brother Edna back in spirit.
"Yes! But, how about we go back first? The air's starting to cool." I tried to help them expel the fog with light wind magic.
"Ah. Youre right. Looks like we should be back soon. But if it's like this, I'm sure, Edna can make it to the test." Said Brother Ruly while showing his thumb to Edna. The new one stands up.
"A-ah, no. It's because you're all the ones who trained me!" Brother Edna shook his head.
"Oh, yeah. Graduation exam soon, huh? How about that?" I asked Brother Ruly.
"Yahhh, it will be done while you are gone, so you won't be able to see the progress of your disciple, Ren! Isn't that a little painful?" Ask while closing your eyes.
"Ah, yes. But, fight, brother Edna!" I tried to give him a good word as his teacher.
"Mn!" He smiled broadly, tilting his head.
A few moments later, we walked back laughing together.
