ACT 2: A HUMAN WHO TRY TO FIGHT THE DESTINY ProLOGUE

"This, where?" Ren started to wake up from his stupor. He was certain that he was in the forest before, with a terrible state of being overused with magic.

And now, when he wakes up he's in the room, and that's his room.

Ren started to get up, changing positions to sit. He felt something warm in his left hand. There is Edna, the third child of the Larvest family who is asleep on Ren's left hand.

Actually, the one who found and brought Ren back after fainting in the forest was Edna.

He replaces Ruly who can't go anywhere because it's holding Seiurd, so Edna immediately catches up with Ren.

He knew that Ren was swimming through the river with that swift current.

He even follows Ren to the "Tea Paradise" store". So, practically he already knew everything.

Before this incident, he had been following Ren for a long time, because he was curious about Ren.

He also already knew, that Ren was a human because he was already 8 years old, which meant that he had already entered the Basic Academy.

Edna is also arguably a talented person, because the amount of MP is basically not much different from Suzu.

And mastery of its elements was also quite rare in this world.

Edna was already suspicious of Ren, but she had yet to find anything that convinced her.

Ren who was still a bit confused was still a little unable to think. He only looked at his disguise uniform that he had used earlier that was lying on the table with a few patches of blood.

Ren was a little surprised. He ran to the bathroom located inside his room, different from the other rooms in this house.

"A-I, still in Shinigami mode?" Ren was a little confused.

Space magic is one of Edna's abilities. And his space magic was rather special, as it could put people into it.

"How did you use that magic! Explain me! Why is your hair black? Explain it! Explain it!" Edna shook Ren's body violently, causing him to experience dizziness.

"I also want to know what happened." Ruly responds to Edna, who still shakes Ren.

"For the first time, can you let me go, brother Edna?" Ren's eyes began to turn, not in the middle.

"Ahh, sorry."

"okay." Ren shook his head slowly.

"Secondly, how is Suzu doing now? I'd kill myself if my efforts last night were in vain." Ren expressed his disappointment in extreme terms.

He immediately racked his brain in search of a suitable reason.

"And, and, oh yeah! I'm taking care of you! Who knows if such an unexpected event happened, I can take you home!" Edna shouted happily when she found a good reason.

"Hmm, okay. Maybe that's enough." Ren closed his eyes while crossing his hands on his chest.

Edna took a sigh of relief, then they laughed together.

"alright. I'll continue." Ren said.

He continues when Ren meets Soeye, asking her to help him in his assault.

In fact, Ren was afraid that their response would change when he found out that he had destroyed the entire place.

"I'm a little interested in the statue, though," Edna doesn't just focus on something that catches her eye.

Again, Ren looked at Ruly, seeing Edna who was very enthusiastic about this.

"Ahh, you don't know yet, do you?" Asked Ruly with a plain face.

They were silent for a moment, before Ren finally continued.

"Ahh, yes. Sometimes we can feel the opponent's Fehl only through the air" Edna responded.

Everyone fell silent, thinking of Ren's explanation.

"Good morning, my name is Childe Royze. It's good to see you guys." Childe stepped in slowly, while restraining her bodyguards and telling them to return.

The atmosphere becomes tense, especially when Ren remembers that he is one of the fathers of the kidnapped child's son.

(What is a Shinigami? He looked similar to what I saw at the time. Just her hair is different, right?) Childe sat in silence.

"I want to talk to you alone, Ren Larvest!"
