ACT 4: Chapter 19 - Sova
It was a perfect beauty, with green dresses and unraveling green hair. His skin is white, as well as his clear eyes coupled with shady green pupils add to the graceful and beautiful impression of the figure. But there's only one problem.
"Why is there a child here?" liu Xiu asked spontaneously.
"I'm not a kid, you idiot!!" there was a shrill voice that sounded like the voice of a child.
Wellh, that graceful figure was arguably not very tall, perhaps only 120 cm, similar to Xi who was in the one next to Liu Xiu. So obviously, anyone would know him as a child.
"You know, I took this form so I could hang out with you guys. So I took the form of Fairy."
"But why do I say I'm like a child. It was a little annoying." said the figure as he puffed his cheeks and crossed his arms.
Hearing that, Liu Xiu and Xi looked over, and walked bit by bit forward.
"Yahh, okay. Ii'm sorry. But after all, everyone will see you as a child in such a form. How to say it, I feel that the aura released is different from that of the Fairy" Liu Xiu said as he raised his shoulders.
"Then," his voice of the figure had begun to disappear, along with the body covered in mist. The two people who were there only stared in surprise, but remained vigilant.
"What about this?" ask for a different voice.
The fog disappeared, and the figure that appeared from behind it was a person with the same description, but with a different voice and body shape.
You could say, this is the adult version of the child.
"Isn't this a good form, young man? Are you interested in playing with your sister?" asked the figure while trying to get close to Liu Xiu, teasing him by gently stroking Liu Xiu's lips.
"A-a-what is that?!! How can you grow your assets so quickly? Is there a special trick?" shouted Xi as he pointed at the figure with a reddened face.
As for Liu Xiu, he stared flatly at the woman who was clinging to him.
"You know! That trick will be of no use to me. Even if you use the [Seduce] skill though" Liu Xiu said as he ruffled his waist, bragging.
Hearing that, the figure of the woman fell down, and slightly hit the floor.
"It didn't work?! I wonder if you're not interested in women?" ask that figure.
"Liu Xiu, you're trash." Xi thought the same thing.
"Wait for you fools!! Eliminate such thoughts, okay!! And you stopped affecting Xi any further. He's still too innocent!" yuu Liu Xiu.
"And looking at that skill and your appearance, shouldn't you just go straight to the point, Dryad?" liu Xiu asked immediately to reveal the true identity of the mysterious figure.
"H-h-h-hahhh?!!!! Dryad?!! I-That means?!!" Xi shouted hysterically.
"Hoooh!! Your eyes are good too!! And Fairy's there, please don't faint. I really can't take care of people, you know?" replied Dryad who started to stand up again.
"none. I just read a lot, and know who Dryad is." Liu Xiu replied lightly.
"And I want to make it clear, are you the Dryad figure of this tree called the World Tree? And if I may know, what is your name, and how should I call you? " ask Liu Xiu again.
"Well, you could say that's me. To name, you can call me Sofa. " replied Dryad, who turns out to be Sova.
Dryad, is a hidden special Raa, which does not belong to the great race.
This is a race formed from the desire of a tree, which is usually a very old tree. Dryad is the spirit of the tree itself.
And knowing that the World Tree Spirit was before him, Xi knelt down immediately.
"I'm sorry about my behavior. I didn't know that this figure was you! Hey, Liu Xiu! Come on on down on your knees too!" xi said while kneeling to Sova. His voice also rattled between fear and respect.
"No need to do that, Fairy boy. I myself am willing to call you here, so don't bow down like that either." replied the figure of Dryad.
Liu Xiu slightly smiled hearing that. Because, it is the Fairy belief in this village to worship the World Tree.
"Dryad, one of the rarest races whose existence is even in doubt. I'm so lucky to have met one in my life. No, even I don't know if there are any other Dryads in this world" Liu Xiu said happily.
"You're right. It was an honor to meet me, but relax. I'm not going to do some weird stuff." Sova replied.
"How could you do something weird to your savior?" liu Xiu said slightly mockingly.
Sova who heard that laughed.
"Let's know, I just move according to my heart." Liu Xiu replied lightly.
Seeing Liu Xiu who could chat as usual with Sova made Xi look at Liu Xiu in awe, and he himself also started to stand fearfully glancing towards Sova.
"Oh yeah! What about those seven?!" xi shouted arriving.
"Just calm down." Liu Xiu replied calmly.
"Did? Whatchu mean? Aren't you the one who was so worried about all of them? Why'd you stop me now?" xi asked confusedly.
"Because this room is immune to the rules of time, isn't it?" liu Xiu asked looking at Sova.
"Hehhh interesting..." Sova stared intently at Liu Xiu with eyes that looked curious, like finding an interesting toy.
Little Xi could not keep up with what the two of them were talking about. So he just kept quiet while listening well.
"So I'll ask you now. Do you have a way to save them all?" ask Liu Xiu.
The surroundings suddenly became quiet, and the atmosphere became somewhat uncomfortable. Sova gave an intimidating look towards Liu Xiu but Liu Xiu did not even budge in the slightest, even though Xi who was looking at him was frightened to the point that his knees were shaking.
"Well, since you know, time doesn't affect us, you shouldn't be in a hurry." he flicked his hand.
Instantly, a table and a chair appeared, along with a cup filled with water that looked similar to tea. It was right where they stood. Sova invited them, and they sat down respectfully.
"First I'll explain who I am. Nak Fairy's. What do you feel when you try to climb up this tree?" sova asked while drinking the tea in her hand.
Xi who heard that immediately sat down with a straight stance and back. He seems really groggy.
"Yes, I feel depressed every time I go up further and further. It was like I felt that I felt my head getting dizzy, and some of the symptoms did not introduce others. It was useless even after I used some medicine to penetrate upwards." Xi explained.
Hearing that, Sova laughed out loud.
"You know why?" sova asked while glancing at Liu Xiu. And Liu Xiu just shrugged, not knowing.
"It's because of my divinity." Sova replied briefly.
It left everyone speechless, and Liu Xiu's face suddenly became solemn. Liu Xiu also slightly smiled, looking interested in this topic.
"How is that possible? The divinity? Isn't that the same saying that you're a god who has some sort of divine thing?" liu Xiu asked, trying to lure Sova to say more things.
"Ha ha ha! You know, I protect you all the time here" Sova said with a laugh.
"If I don't protect you from my divinity" Sova flicked her finger, and Xi groaned.
The surprised Liu Xiu immediately helped Xi, who began to fall to the floor while holding his head and chest. Liu Xiu also briefly patted Xi on the cheek, but that did not bring about a good change.
"What is this?!!" said Liu Xiu angrily.
"Ahh, sorry sorry. I seem to be overdoing it" Sova said as she flicked her finger again.
At once Xi's shout stopped, and he began to take long breaths time and time again, like trying to calm down. Xu sat back on the chair, assisted by Liu Xiu, who kept checking on Xi.
"Are you okay?" ask Liu Xiu.
It was answered with just a nod of the head, but with that only Liu Xiu was already grateful.
"Whatis that? Why did you do that to Xi? It's dangerous, you know? An attack on the head and heart was really terrible" Liu Xiu said, slightly poking Sova.
"Not so, stupid! I just took off the protectors I made for you. It made her feel a strong Divinity from me" Sova said.
"Conon, a person who sensed the Divinity in such a close range would instantly die within a few seconds. But maybe because she had lived at the bottom for so long, she was a little immune to Divinity, making her able to endure for quite a long time." Sova continued with a smile.
Liu Xiu slightly clucked softly. But she thinks that it's impossible for Sova to do that if she doesn't have something to give it back.
"Then, why is Xi the one you made as an experimental material? Was it not I who did not believe that you had Divinity?" ask Liu Xiu.
"I didn't let go of that protector to just Xi, you idiot! I also released that protector to you!" answer Sova.
