ACT 5: Chapter 34 - Party Adventurer Guild (1)
As Liu Xiu was grumbling, meanwhile on the other side of the forest....
"Lookie! Do you have any leads?!" the sound of Yin Wang's cry sounded echoed in the forest. But there was no reply from the person in question, making Yin Wang slightly disturbed.
"Ssttts. Don't noise. He will run away to hear your voice." whispered Chloe in Yin Wang's ear arrived.
"WGHY?!!" Yin Wang jumped up, and took his sword.
"Don't surprise me, damn it!!! I don't like being surprised!! You motherfucker!!" Yin Wang was angry, and tried to hit Chloe.
Since this was a forest, this was a terrain that was very suitable for Assassin, making Chloe able to move freely, and he was toying with Yin Wang from earlier because of the superiority of the terrain he had.
It was interesting to watch, as it reduced the sense of tension felt by the people who went on this expedition.
"Hey hey. Yin Wang, you're too noisy! And also Chloe. Don't tease him continuously. We're on a mission. Focus. At least until we find the prey!" rossie said walking with them.
Rossie's attitude is much different, when working on a mission and with the usual. Or often it is said that his attitude is professional.
He was now wearing dark purple clothes, with a wand that looked dark. He changed it during the trip just now, just by muttering a few broken spells. It seemed like it was his Adventurer's special outfit.
Finally, the light at the end of the forest was visible. It was a sign they had all arrived at the scene. They were silent for a moment, and looked at each other, before Chloe finally spoke breaking the silence
"We have arrived. Hurry, find the trail. We don't have much time before the trail disappears" Chloe said quickly.
Now, the three of them were on the outskirts of where Luna and Sara fought with the Devils. They intend to use their abilities in order to track down the enemy.
That way, they split for a moment to look for clues. As Chloe scrutinized every detail of the trail that was around, Yin Wang traced it with her Beast abilities, while Rossie used her extraordinary magic control abilities.
After searching for a few minutes, they promised to meet on the edge, the first place they entered the area.
"Sad... Guild Master is right. The magic array around here has been randomized. It's impossible to find it by following magic" Rossie said slightly frowning.
"I'm a little different. I found three different tracks. I'm sure two of them are fake, or maybe they're all fake. And all of those tracks lead to different places" Chloe said as she gave a slow peek.
They simply sucked in a tired breath, as searching for the trail without a clue was only a waste of time.
"Hey. I smell his blood! It's not ordinary blood, so there's a chance he's here" Yin Wang said as he waved.
In front of him was a large bush, no sign of it ever being breached or anything.
"really? If she passes through that place, there must be a trace left, like a stepped grass, or something like that" Chloe said a little hesitantly.
"Here you go, follow me and trust sa-Whoa!!!!" Yin Wang could not finish his sentence, as the grass he had stepped on in front turned out to be a hole, deep enough that two people could pass through.
"The "Adu du duh.... Fucking hole. Where it doesn't look anymore!! Let me burn this bush and grass to ashes!!" said Yin Wang standing up leaping, and taking out his Spirit sword burning the bush with ease.
"Not good, Yin Wang. You found the Devil's escape. Now, take us." Rossie said indifferently.
"Battle! Now, who's useless. Uh. Can you use a more polite tone? I feel like a bloodhound like this!!" yin Wang shouted in disbelief.
"Did? Blame me?" ask Rossie while slightly giggling.
"Hcghhhh!!!"
"Yin Wang, stop. We need to get going. Look up at the sky. The rain is coming. It'll be troublesome if we lose the smell of the devil, so it's better that we walk faster" Chloe said interrupting the feud between the two of them.
Yin Wang who had already clenched his hand on the sword softened, and nodded slowly, a sign of understanding.
"Hummmmd. Thas right. Alright. I will focus on the mission first." whispered Yin Wang as he walked back.
The three of them walked at high speed, where Chloe kept her eyes on the surroundings while jumping from branch to branch, Yin Wang ran over continuously following the stench of the Devil, and Rossie flew up on her staff.
If you look, their cooperation is really neat. People will ask if this is the first time they have worked together? Because the truth is not.
And Chloe's concerns are starting to prove. The clouds started to move and strong winds started to appear.
"Hey, old grandma. Do you have a spell to cast these clouds away? Honestly, it's disturbing. Especially this wind. The smell he left behind became faint!" yin Wang said a little protest.
"Nothing! Magic is not something that practical! And don't call me old grandma!!" rossie shouted furiously.
"Hey. Stop over. There's a river" Chloe said.
