Become A Human In Another World

Become A Human In Another World
ACT 5: Chapter 43 - Preparation

Liu Xiu was still staring furiously at the Beast, as he continued to hold onto his stomach which started to bleed. The body was also painful, when it looks electricity is still a little snatching it from the cage.

To make a deep impression of hatred, Liu Xiu continued to stare towards the door, until finally the door as the only source of light closed, and darkness returned to his surroundings.

Once there really were no guards inside, people were in one cell with Liu Xiu approaching. Not only that, the others also looked pitiful, trying to check on Liu Xiu's situation.

"Are you okay?" ask the person one cell next to Liu Xiu.

Knowing that, Liu Xiu knew right now that there was really no supervisor.

"Bright...." Liu Xiu slightly sighed, and instantly, Liu Xiu took off his mask.

"He?"

The mask? Sure was!

From the beginning, he acted, especially when the Beast kicked earlier.

It was impossible, Liu Xiu was unable to avoid that slow kick. Indeed, it was enough to make the wound on Liu Xiu's stomach open again, but it would not be enough to make Liu Xiu move, even bouncing that far.

In other words, Liu Xiu moved of his own accord, and he threw himself at the iron of his will.

Indeed, it hurts. But he had some ability to withstand magic attacks, so it was a price he dared bear to know how powerful the cage magic was.

"Ehh? Are you okay?" asked the person next to Liu Xiu in a high, curious tone.

"If I'm okay, then dark is ruining your eyes. You saw my wound being kicked, and I was electrocuted with magic, didn't you? And again, I'm human, you know?" liu Xiu asked flatly.

It made his interlocutor frown, but he tore something off. It took quite a long time, but Liu Xiu just let it go.

"Take this, at least it can wrap your wounds" said the man.

"What is this fabric?! Don't tell me you're..."

"Have no fuss and just wear it!!" hearing that person start to get annoyed, Liu Xiu simply complied. At the very least, the cloth could be wrapped around Liu Xiu's stomach, preventing the blood from coming back out.

But looking at that, the surroundings started to melt a little. Liu Xiu slightly smiled, when that happened, and started facing the person next to him properly.

Next to him was a Priest, who had white hair (of course) and hidden wings.

At first glance, he really looks like an angel, as long as he uses good clothes, instead of ragged fabrics like this.

Liu Xiu slightly cuddled the nimang, why could this Priest be in one cell with him. No, from the beginning, why were only him and this priest locked up in a cell?

"Hummmmd. Alright. Thank you for the cloth you gave me. Maybe it'll be better if you heal me, because you're a priest. But at least that was enough" Liu Xiu said trying to start a conversation.

"Huff. You should have known. We can't all use skills, can we? And I can't cure you without it." replied the woman still a little upset.

Liu Xiu was silent for a moment, recalling something.

("That's true. The skill should be sealed, right? Butwhy? Why was I able to listen to their conversation so clearly?") thought Liu Xiu.

It made Liu Xiu take a moment, ignoring the Priest who was next to him.

"Hey. Do not come to silence... You look scary, you know?" said.

"Whatis that? Saying that other people are scary, is it worth saying to the person you just met?!" said Liu Xiu pretending to be angry.

"I really don't want to hear it from you." the Priest sneered a little annoyed.

Liu Xiu did not reply, and only remained silent while staring intently.

"You. Priest's there. Try to heal me." Liu Xiu said quickly.

"Did? What do you mean? Didn't I tell you all our skills were sealed? And also, my name is not "Priest there"!! My name is Shun Lia!! Call my name correctly!!" the priest shouted, a little angry.

Shun Lia, looking away, looked annoyed. But Liu Xiu only sighed, relented.

"All right, Shun Lia. Can I call Lia? I think it'll be easier. And also, do I have to introduce myself first?" liu Xiu asked as he fixed his sitting position.

"Do as you please." replied Lia.

"alright. My name is Liu Xiu. I'm a human being, and I'm an Adventurer. By the way, I am the Adventurer appointed by the city of Fuheng, you know?" liu Xiu said with a mysterious smile.

Obviously, almost everyone was surprised to hear that. Not only did the one paying attention to Liu Xiu's story, but even the one who was bowed unconcerned now also raised his face.

"wait. You said you were an adventurer? And again, representatives from a big city like Fuheng? Aren't you supposed to be so strong?" shun Lia asked with a confused face.

"Eitherway. Don't think about it, better think about it now." Liu Xiu approached, then sat down next to Lia.

"Now, try to heal me" Liu Xiu said again.

Lia sighed, looking tired. But want to how else, Liu Xiu seemed pushy, and if he did not show it straight away, Lia thought Liu Xiu would not believe it.

"Alright fine!" that way, Lia approached, pointing her hand at Liu Xiu's wound, albeit half-heartedly.

Some people were curious, and observed Liu Xiu and Lia closely.

"[Heal]!" lia said, after directing her hand. Nothing happened, even after they all waited for a few seconds. Lia sighed, as expected, and prepared to pull her hand.

"Wait!" Liu Xiu shouted, holding Lia's hand so as not to move away from her wounds. Suddenly, Lia wanted to rebel, but suddenly something shocking happened.

From Lia's hands, a ray of light appeared, which began to heal Liu Xiu's wounds!!

"li.... This is impossible!" whispered Lia with a face of disbelief.

Indeed, even the people around were gawking, seeing a miracle happening before them. Some of them immediately stood up, and tried out some of their skills. But still, it cannot be activated.

"Preserve like this. In a moment, my injuries recovered." said Liu Xiu, as he began to slowly take off Lia's hand.

"How is it possible? What the hell are you doing? How did this happen?" lia asked, completely confused. Meanwhile, Liu Xiu only smiled mysteriously, nodding in satisfaction.

"I'll explain later. Also to all of you" Liu Xiu said, looking out the cage.

There were many people who looked bright hearing that. But there were also those who looked at Liu Xiu with suspicious faces. After all, Liu Xiu had just come to this prison, and said some new things. Of course, the hearted person will not believe it for granted.

("Humm. If they were children in a previous life, I wonder if their mental age is developing or not. But I hope, they develop mentally.") thought Liu Xiu, with a slight smile.

Meanwhile, the wound on Liu Xiu's stomach began to close. Several other small wounds also started to recover, even Liu Xiu felt healthier than usual.

("It's amazing. As expected of a Priest, he had beyond reason healing abilities. Can he use [Sanctuary]?" liu Xiu asked in his heart.

Liu Xiu's wound was gone. He stood up, moved his shoulder, tried a few moves.

Liu Xiu nodded in satisfaction, and smiled with a thumbs up.

"Really! It's nice! I told you you could do it!"

It happened silent for a moment. Everyone looked at each other in disbelief. Especially Shun Lia, who was still unable to come to her senses and continued to stare at her confused hands.

"Is this why you're being held up like this?" liu Xiu asked trying to start the conversation, again.

"I-I don't know. Since the first time I was brought here, directly put here. It was they were just annoyed at me, but I think there is something special now." Shun Lia replied while still a little confused.

Liu Xiu did not understand, and tried to analyze again. What makes Lia different.

"Hummm, have you ever been told anything about life energy, or have you even studied it?" ask Liu Xiu.

"Well, after you said it, like he did. When I first arrived at the South African Kingdom, there was a strange person who said that life energy was very high, and wanted to make me his disciple."

"But since it sounded like a fraud, I didn't answer and just ran away." Shun Lia's story slightly rolled her eyes.

Hearing that, Liu Xiu simply patted the eel, tired. But thanks to that, he understood the reason why Lia was in this cell right now.

("It must be because he's a Priest, so obviously his magic is above average, plus his life energy, making him a dangerous expert, huh?") liu Xiu asked in his heart.

But she was grateful, a small mistake from the enemy could be useful like this, she did not know if this was just luck alone.

Liu Xiu faced outside the cell, and found many people staring at him in surprise, like asking for some explanation.

Liu Xiu who was already standing raised both hands, facing the person.

"Huff. Alright alright. I'll try to explain. But to be honest, if I explain this, there is a price to pay for my body." Liu Xiu said.

What purpose? If people thought Liu Xiu had sacrificed himself to tell them this, their sympathy would obviously grow.

Besides, Liu Xiu wanted to tell them a reality.

"You must be asking, right? Hows it? Wh why? Who me? Or even another question, right? Well, that's one of my goals here, but maybe you all know." Liu Xiu smiled and took a breath.

("Well, it's time to tell them that they're all Reinkarnators.")
