ACT 5: Chapter 22 - The Battle with the Demon Race!
The wind rustled softly, in a forest that was now turned into a vast field, only rocks and soil dried up in just a few minutes.
There were only 4 figures standing in the midst of the destruction, and one Wyvern who looked down, letting the person who was riding him look around, looked a little limp.
The four of them were silent, looking at each other. They were measuring the opponent's abilities, and did not dare to launch an attack first.
Especially after the first clash, it was clear they could not underestimate each other.
The suffocating atmosphere was suffocating, not even insects dared to pass by. No, maybe not because of the atmosphere, because intelligent living things must have run off the ridge, away from this area.
Meanwhile, there was a moment of silence. Until finally the Devil side started to whisper a little, talking to each other. Then the Devil sitting on Wyvern asked the Devil for something with the sword in front of him.
Seeing that, the sisters Sara and Luna also whispered to each other, while continuously watching the two Devils before them.
The one in front carried a two-handed greatsword, with a large body again muscular. With red eyes and horns on his head, it made him look terrifying just by looking at him.
And the other one, looks tall, and arguably skinny. His skin was pale, visible from the slightly peeking hands of his entire body that were wearing a robe, covering his form.
"Sister, use your eyes. At least, if we know the enemy's trump card, we can make a little plan." whispered Sara.
"I know I know! Ahh, I used to curse these eyes a lot, but now I realize this is really a blessing.." luna softly complained, while preparing her eyes, to do something.
Luna looked focused, and her red eyes were slightly glowing blue. That's a little weird, but it really happened.
"Aah!" Luna shrieked softly as her eyes saw something interesting.
"Did you find anything, brother?" Sara was a little curious. But Luna just kept quiet not answering her sister's question. And from the look on his face he was thinking of something.
Sara gets curious, but can't force Luna. He could only wait for Luna to make a decision.
Meanwhile, the sword-wielding Devil started walking forward, no longer brandishing the sword towards Sara and Luna.
"Use telepathic magic for a moment on me." whispered Luna, before the Devil before her stopped walking. Sara was a little surprised by her brother's request, but only complied. Silent, he cast a spell, and cast telepathic magic with Luna.
"Guwa ha ha ha! This great Gerudo is really impressed, you know! I didn't expect, there's magic that can hold my sword!" the Devil shouted while shouting his name in an arrogant tone.
Luna's countenance slightly changed, when she heard that the Devil thought that the magic was holding back her attack. That upset him a little.
But he immediately thought of something, and smiled slightly.
("What, brother?") ask Sara. Now the two of them were communicating inwardly, to prevent the opponent from knowing what they were planning.
("The devil is trying to buy time.")
The statement made Sara a little surprised, as the Devils were known to be a very powerful race, and Sara did not think they would do that.
("I saw his MP that went down very far. I thought, that magic was really a terrible large-scale magic. So obviously the amount of MP he needs is not exactly cheap.") Luna explained in her mind.
Sara nodded slowly, while understanding what Luna was thinking.
("So his strategy?") ask Sara.
("If he intends to buy time, let it go. I'm going to attack. We have the advantage, because I rest you, your MP is still quite a lot. But they thought most of the defense was made with magic.") explained Luna.
("Ahh! So so! They think we're going to follow their game, and won't expect a magic attack!") Sara screamed happily in her heart.
("That's so. As I advance, you cast magic toward Wyvern and the Witch. I'll prevent the one from protecting him, so please, at least wound the Witch, and make sure you kill Wyvern once.") Luna said.
Hearing that, Sara slightly nodded. But he had some thoughts, making him look doubtful.
("Then, if I run out of MP what will happen?") ask Sara.
There was silence in both of their hearts. But unlike in the real world, where the Devil there still bragged about his prowess.
"That moment then think of it just then" said Luna softly, now whispering using her mouth.
Luna closed her eyes slowly, and mounted the horse with a spear and sword in both hands. He took a breath, to prepare his special skill.
He walked slowly while covering Sara, as if protecting her. Though Luna only meant for Sara who was preparing magic.
Luna brandished both of her weapons towards the Devil, making him a little surprised in his own boasting.
But the Devil smiled as he strengthened the grip on his sword, slightly intimidating and belittling Luna. He also changed the corner of his eyes, looking at Luna sharply.
"This is why Gerudo hates to buy time. There is nothing to talk about with a fool from this world. Especially when dealing with an animal like that person, all he could do was aim his claws and bark at will. Hufft me-"
"HRAAHHHH!!!!" as the Devil was busy bragging, Luna did not think of that, and moved!!
