ACT 3: Chapter 38 - Chaos?
PoV: Third person PoV
The sound of bells ringing, as well as the footsteps of the soldiers who are increasingly echoing throughout the city. People ran in panic, even pushing each other which made wounds.
A quarter of the Capital was already destroyed, making all the best fighters and magicians immediately gather to defeat the monster monsters that caused this.
"What's going on?" Ren and Edna who had just arrived were completely unable to keep up with the situation.
"Sir Edna! We have to go upstairs for a clearer vision. I'll carry you!" Ren ran, then lifted Edna up easily.
Edna was a little surprised by that, but it didn't take long for her to readjust.
Ren immediately jumped as high as he could, then used wind magic for his footing and continued to jump like a rabbit climbing a great wall. Ren aims to see from the top of the wall that separates the districts of the city.
"That's right!!" Ren muttered softly when he saw the scene in front of him.
"It's really impossible!" Edna.
What they saw was the state of the city that was starting to crumble, with dozens of strange black monsters attacking the entire city. The black monster had never before Edna or even Ren had seen, giving a hint of a terrifying atmosphere to appear between them.
The only monster that could explain their existence was only one. Weiss changes in Furyuun city first!!
"Rin! They were seen approaching the Church!! What's the matter?!!" Edna exclaimed while pointing, as the monster moved irregularly in the same direction. It's really strange to think back.
"Right-natured brother. Is there anything that makes them go after the Church?" Ren began to speculate.
"Just think it's useless. If they continue to attack the Church, everyone, even Mother, will also be in danger!" said Edna.
Meanwhile, before all the chaos...
Royal Palace.
"Your Majesty! It was reported that a monster appeared from the ground, and destroyed the entire building that was in its path! I-That leads to the Church now!!" a bodyguard quiveringly reported the circumstances to his King.
The king was being accompanied by an empress, a prince, and certainly a princess around him. It seems they are talking about something.
"Curtain! Basic Church! Didn't I tell you not to take it off here?!" the King nodded slowly.
"On that, Your Majesty! We got word that one monster was the biggest, paving the way from underground for another monster to come out. Maybe it was their boss, Your Majesty!" obviously prajurut that again.
The King laughed mockingly. He understood the hidden meaning in the words of the soldier.
"That means their research is leaky, right? A classic reason!" whispered King.
"What else are you waiting for! Quickly exterminate the monster!"
"B-well! Your Majesty!!!" the soldier immediately retreated.
The atmosphere became silent, as each of them looked worried. Especially the Princess, Yuna. Not only that, the Empress also looked at the King in bewilderment.
"Huh.. I didn't expect it to happen like this. If only the lower districts were damaged, I wouldn't care too much. But if the upper districts were to be affected, let alone the Church, it would really be a problem." Said the King who was immediately glared at by the Princess.
As usual, the king was still using the caste system in his mind.
Even so, his face continued to emit an unusual smile.
"Humm, do we have to move, Your Majesty?" asked the person while bowing, lowering his head.
"Alford of the Seven Knights? It's not something like a very big deal. But if this gets any worse, I'll hand them over to you." replied the King.
"Thank you, Your Majesty." replied Alford. That way, she regained her head, remaining with a smile on her face.
All of the events were seen from a distance by Kei, who was watching everything that happened from the top of the tower. He also saw that the monster had already moved to destroy the city.
"It's finally starting, is it?" kei said slowly.
"But Master, Seven Knights seem to be entering this battle. What do we do?" cilia asked in response.
"What's? Humm, I'm sure that boy can overcome those Seven Knights alone with his current abilities. But, doing so would only be a problem in the future. As much as possible I want to avoid that." Kei replied.
Kei seemed to think hard, but from the look on his face, it was seen that he was not getting anything good.
"Huff. There's no other way, is there? Maybe I should make the Seven Knights faint with our arrival, so they don't see anything. Too bad we can't erase people's memories." Kei snorted in annoyance.
"Well, if it's Master's plan, I'll follow it!!" cilia said happily.

So, Kei and Cilia were watching the chaos in Ronia from the sky, looking sharply at Ren.
"Sir Edna! Looks like we should intervene!! The monsters were too many, and the soldiers were really useless! If this is left unchecked, maybe this city will be destroyed!!" said Ren.
"You're right, Ren! What should we do?!" ask Edna.
"For now, let's finish off the closest keroco to the Church, because our priority is the mother who is there!!" said Ren.
Soon after, Ren carried Edna again. Edna had also started to get used to this, she would not be surprised anymore.
"[Icycle Projectile]!" Edna chanted some spells to clear the little black monster monster that was before Ren, to give way to him.
"Good and thank you, brother Edna!!" ren said with a smile.
"Yes yes! Thanks for the ride too! Focus on running, Ren! I will overcome the monsters around!!" edna said with certainty.
"Sorry, brother Edna!" hearing that, immediately Ren ran as hard as he could. He passed through the rubble while holding Edna easily, and Edna also continued to keep the monster away from Ren. That way, they quickly arrived in front of the monsters that led to the Church.
Ren lowered Edna slowly, while staring at the undead monster troupe walking towards them.
"Sir Edna, I warn you. I don't want to use magic here. Wh why? Because my magic will be really striking. I don't want to be too flashy right now." whispered Ren as he turned towards Edna.
"Well, I was expecting that. Otherwise, I really wouldn't be of any use here!" answer Edna sure.
"Well then, let's start the party!!!" Ren smirked happily.
