ACT 4: Chapter 9 - Misunderstanding
"It's urgent..." Liu Xiu muttered softly.
He acted to take a thousand steps away from the woman who was in front of him. The woman looks really angry.
"Let me explain first! You please-"
BZZZTT!!!
Liu Xiu was trying to prevent the woman from getting more and more raging. But, the woman did not care about it, and instead gave off a greenish lightning strike that immediately blew up where Liu Xiu was standing.
Liu Xiu had to move quickly when that happened. There is no other way but to escape.
That way, Liu Xiu immediately ran as fast as he could. He swerved right and left, dodging the barrage of female attacks. Although Liu Xiu had walked a very long way due to his speed which was indeed too fast, but he was always directed back at the woman by the trees.
As if the forest sided with the woman, there were always obstacles when Liu Xiu ran, making her turn and return. Liu Xiu also did not bother to growl with that.
Until he arrived, a tree fell in front of Liu Xiu for the next time.
"I won't turn!!!" he shouted while swinging the Azantine sword in his hand swiftly. It split the huge tree perfectly, before finally the hemisphere opened a path for him.
The woman also saw the incident, saw it shocked. Since the tree even needed a holy sword to cut through it, then he had thought that the sword Liu Xiu was carrying was not an ordinary sword.
The chase destroyed the vast forest, and left the night sky filled with explosions and terrifying light.
"Stop! Let's have a ceasefire!!" liu Xiu shouted as he met the woman for the next time.
The woman still did not budge, instead returning to attack Liu Xiu with some of his magic. In contrast to the initial attack, Liu Xiu now received all the attacks, and countered them.
"You know, killing me is easy. You only need one strike to do it."
"But to launch one attack is not an easy one. So, instead of the losses this forest has more and more, I will give up and apologize. I believe this is a misunderstanding between us" Liu Xiu said as he began to raise his hand.
Suddenly, the deer came out of nowhere. And Liu Xiu, even though he was seen raising his hand, he was already prepared no matter what.
(Daughter. The man seemed to give up. Would it not be better to listen to him first?) the deer spoke an ancient language.
(But he hurt you, Pulan. I can't forgive him.)
(He said there was a misunderstanding. Maybe that's true. I also did not think that there was a human who could defeat me, I felt really too weak to be the guardian of this forest.) replied the deer again.
Liu Xiu heard it all, making him think that this woman called princess did not understand normal language, and only spoke ancient languages.
(Really. I'm sorry, princess. I really did accidentally hurt your friend.) Liu Xiu suddenly entered into a conversation with an ancient language.
"You speak an ancient language?!" the princess shouted, now in normal language.
"certain. I-i can. Is that weird? Well, maybe it's weird. But please understand that part. And I also want to explain how this can all happen." Liu Xiu replied calmly.
The deer and the princess looked at each other, and the deer gave a slight nod.
"You make me look stupid to use ancient language, aiming to confuse you. Alright. Explain what's going on here!" said the princess while crossing her arms.

"So you said you thought that Pulan was an ordinary deer, and you attacked him to hunt him down?!" ask the princess.
"He is very different from a regular deer!! You even know by looking at the size, don't you? Even how could there be a deer that could use magic like Pulan? I really can't accept that." said the princess while grumbling a little.
"But the reality is so." Liu Xiu slightly took a breath, tired.
Instantly a slow wind blew from behind Liu Xiu, leaving him a little surprised. However, what followed was a strange expression from the princess, staring at Liu Xiu like a strange stranger.
"He's not lying? How's it possible?" ask the princess slowly.
"alright. Then, what is your business coming to the Magic Forest? Do you want to steal something? Or do you want to do something? Answer me honestly, because I know you're lying!" ask the princess still in a loud tone.
Liu Xiu nodded slowly, smiling happily. He thought he could finally control the conversation.
"I'm here on the Quest of the Adventurer Guild."
"Wait on! Quest?" the princess quickly snatched the paper that Liu Xiu had just issued. It made Liu have some conjectures and smile.
"It appears that the person who made the request did not understand how to write in a plain language. So he wrote the Quest with ancient letters. Obviously no one understood, making the Quest marginalized and never anyone took it." Liu Xiu explained at length.
She looked very satisfied with it, whereas the princess in front of her looked down with a red face in embarrassment. After all, he wrote the Quest.
"B-noisy! Ah, then.." the princess realized something.
"You came to help us?" the half yelled. Liu Xiu had already realized it since he learned that the deer, Pulan, could speak and was a magical beast.
Because based on some stories, the Magic Forest contains something absurd and some other things.
"But there is a problem. It says we need a party, but you're alone. Can't you read?" asked the princess still in a tinge.
Liu Xiu seemed to think for a moment. He looked at the Azantine sword in his hand, and the Zadkiel he had hidden in his pocket. Then he looked around, and compared the damage that the princess' magic had caused to his Zadkiel.
"Am I lacking? I haven't expended all my abilities in the fight just now!!" liu Xiu said as he nodded and closed his eyes in delight.
("That's not even his entire strength yet? Is he really human?") asked the princess while looking at the similarly surprised Pulan.
"Uhun! Alright. Then, we will leave for my village first. From there, I'll tell you everything, and what the Quest is all about, as well as the reason why I can't do it alone. Then follow me!" said the princess while jumping up to the top of Pulan.
It seemed like he had truly forgiven Liu Xiu, and did not think about it anymore. And looking at Pulan himself, he had already made a full recovery.
It showed just how incredible the princess' healing magic was.
Liu Xiu thought so too. At once he was a little curious about what happened when he fought him earlier. He wanted to ask how he could move the forest as he wished.
"It's getting interesting." whispered Liu Xiu quietly as he began to jump, following the princess.
