ACT 4: Interlude 2 - Daily Note Beta 2 (Battle Against Master)

The first city we visited was Fuheng. Apparently, this is a city in the Kingdom of South Africa. Still in the Kingdom of South Africa, but far from my former territory.

When Master was still preoccupied with Fischia, I moved silently to head to the Master's blind spot.
Alpha also knew that, so he gave some command that could distract Master for as long as possible. In fact, he had managed to get the Master in the air several times.

Dain laughed, and said that it should be able to withstand Master-level magic without being scratched, and could only be destroyed with GrandMaster-level magic. It said that the power of the Master's punch just now was already that level!!
It was a power I could gain after doing some heavy training for a few more months, and plus buff magic. But Master can do it himself!
Dain didn't stop there. He made a few more obstructions, and said that we need not fight without hesitation, because Dain will protect us. It seemed that this was a magic he had created himself, and it took time. That's why I couldn't find him.
We attack again. This time it was better because some small attacks from Master could not slow us down. We slowly cornered the Master.
That's what I was thinking, when the smile on Maater's face suddenly disappeared.
His face looked serious, different from the one from earlier. Just by looking at that, it made my hand tremble slightly as it swung the dagger in the hand.
It caught me off guard, and Master launched a kick at me as usual.
But what happened was beyond my expectations.
The barrier that Dain made was destroyed!
The master continued to attack as usual, using his hands and feet perfectly, even his every move was nothing in vain. But the power contained in each attack was different.
Dain's shields continued to disintegrate with every attack that came, forcing us to retreat.
Alpha tries to attack with his sword, but the Master can dodge it easily. There's a little fight between Alpha and Master. I know that fight is different level to me.
But this is still a team fight. Fischia and I, without being asked to barge in, pressured Master.
I know, Alpha was exhausted from that one-on-one fight. The back is also the same, because the magic that they had cast was completely unable to touch the Master at all.
Things got worse, and Master seemed to take a little breath. And instantly, I knew something was floating transparently in front of us.
This time Master moved very fast, and I could not read where the attack was going. Therefore, I immediately turned my head towards the back of us, but nothing happened there.

Magic shards flew like glass to dust. It was too thick so I could see. It was a proof that the magic Dain made for the shield was numerous, arguably layered.
But it can be destroyed easily by Master. Not even there, the impact continued, and threw me, Alpha, and Fischia away.
Plus, I could see some trees far enough behind me could be destroyed, huh! Really ruined. Though it was at least 100 meters away!

"What did you write, Beta?" celica asked as she looked at Beta sitting down, writing in the notebook, alone.
"No, just a few things that don't matter" Beta replied as she closed her book.
Celica simply raised an eyebrow, seemingly expecting it, deserving to say; "Come on! Master is waiting! I'll go there first, okay! You wait for Dain and Alpha!" sahut Celica, while running down the stairs of the Adventurer Guild, towards Liu Xiu who was conversing with Eina, Ghea, and Fischia.
There was a smile on Beta's face, looking at the scene.
"Until now, we're still warmly welcomed, aren't we?' beta asked quietly as she put the book into her pocket, looking at Dain and Alpha who had returned.
"Ahh, if this keeps up my diary will be full of stories about Master!" whisper Beta slowly.
