ACT 6: Chapter 19 - The first meeting
"It's true.." Ren's shrill voice rang out, almost covered in the crying voice he let out.
"WHAT HAPPENED?!!!" frustrated screams.
At that time, no one could answer him. Silence, that's all that sounds. The sound of a whirring wind trying to explain what happened, but being too weak just sounded like a whisper of sadness to Ren.
"Oh yeah! What about Uncle Childe, Mother, and Syila?! What happened to all of them?!" ren shouted quickly, turning to where they were hiding, but there was no sign of it being covered in sand.
The place they were hiding felt underground, so it would not be visible from above even if they were safe.
("No, I have to believe! There's no way they'll die that easily, right? Right, guys? Yea? I've been trying my hardest to prevent their deaths, you know!") ren shouted in his heart.
His face was deathly pale, like his life was drained when he saw the destruction before his eyes. He forgot his father, Roy, and also the other people like Edna and the adventurers he was with earlier. Instantly, he gasped for a moment after recalling them.
"Dad, brother Edna!! You t-you guys are okay, right?" asked Ren with a brick.
There were no answers, so Ren tried to see them one by one.
Edna just gaped and stared at the entire city blankly, the same as the few adventurers who were behind her. All the mentally weak healers had already fainted with bleached eyes, and Roy, his father was seen trying to scavenge for dust bit by bit.
Seen, they all could not believe what was before them at this moment.
("What is this? Why is this all happening? Does this mean it's all my fault, so that people see horrible things like this?") asked Ren in his heart.
DUGGS!!
A heartbeat drives the pain in Ren's heart. He did not know what it was, only that his heart was beating even harder at that moment.

A thick magic arrived filling the air. Edna and some of the people behind her coughed coughfully while holding their necks. It seemed that their breath was suffocating due to this air-drenched magic.
"[Protect]" Ren cast a magic spell just before a bubble appeared from Ren's small hand, and broke in front of everyone's forehead looking asphyxiated.
Immediately, their bodies were shrouded in a faint light that seemed to envelop them. Thus, their coarse breathing became quiet, and was gradually able to return as usual.
Not wanting to take long to shift his gaze, Ren refocused his eyes in front of him.
A while later, a silhouette emerged from a small body that floated quietly, looking to enjoy all of this. Immediately, Ren attempted to look around, who exactly the figure was, but it was useless.

He recalled the figure of the Dryad guardian of the World Tree, who possessed insane strength. But the figure before her was far, far more terrifying than Sova.
ZZZZTT!!!
A rustling sound rang out in Ren's ears, as he attempted to use the [Evaluator] skill to figure out the strength of the figure before him. Not only that, the writing "error" immediately filled Ren's field of view, telling him that it was impossible to analyze the figure before him.
Ren continued to observe, the person's facial expression changed after Ren used his skill.
"Humm? You're trying to use [Evaluator] on me? Well I'm telling you, it's not gonna work. After all, it was only a skill given by this world, so the beings outside this world would not be able to be affected" he said.
Ren's eyes heard it round, slightly in disbelief as to what he heard.
("He is an extraterrestrial being of this world? Is he a god? No, it's not possible. Is he a world traveler?") thought Ren in his heart.
"But I admit! I acknowledge you as a strong person!!" shouted the man, laughing out loud.
"Did?"
"You managed to withstand the magic I created by myself, and escaped unharmed, at least your abilities were above all of them. YEP!! I THOUGHT I'D GIVE YOU A GIFT FOR THAT!!!" he shouted again letting Ren just stand still not understanding.
The atmosphere was still silent, as Gordo and Dela came closer, and knelt behind the man.
Ren slightly "clicked" his tongue, when he saw the two of them. Ren had not expected that they would call this strong and troublesome person, so this was all right outside of Ren's estimation.
("Again, who is he? I never heard of him! But, he seemed a little excited, didn't he?") asked Ren in his heart.
The silence continued for quite a while, but the man in front of Ren smiled as he tilted his head slightly.
"Hehhh, you don't talk much, do you? Wh why? Have you lost your spirit? Well, then, it'll be boring. Huum, no. From your eyes, I can still see some hope. Well, whatever it is, I don't care as long as you don't die instantly after making me happy like this" he said at length.
"Humm?" everyone looked confused, when there was a moving sand dune.
