ACT 3: Chapter 40 - Seven Knights
"Seven Knights's. They're finally in the battle?" Kei laughed softly while watching from above the dark night sky.
Next to him, there was Cilia who was holding nimang if between the two camps there was a battle, who would win.
"The boy must have realized, Alford was a Reinkanator. And Ren must have known that his powers were different to Alford's, and he also must have realized that he was far from common sense in this world. It's really exciting to see them working together." Kei continued.
"According to Master, will they work together?" ask Cilia.
"Yes! Whynot? They will work together to defeat the monster. Or rather, the Seven Knights would use the boy to work for them."
"Seven Knights knew that monsters were hard for them to defeat. So surely they're going to hand the monster over to Ren." Kei continued.
After which, Kei turned his face again, towards the battle.
"Want he'll know the truth. That's the end." Kei laughed a little mockingly, but his face darkened. Cilia also noticed that, just keeping quiet while slightly keeping watch.
Kei was not interested in the fight. He was just watching from earlier, and did not intervene in the slightest. He is right as a commentator here.
He did not benefit by interfering in their problems. That was enough for Kei to hold his hand.
"Understand, Master." replied Cilia quietly.

"Seven Knights?!! The Seven Knights? They are the best in their field, and are the heroes protecting this kingdom? Are you the Seven Knights that?!!" Edna shouted when she heard the word "Seven Knights".
In fact, Edna had great admiration for the Seven Knighs. He even aspires to get into one of them.
Hearing Edna who knew them, Ren dropped both guns, but prepared for anything.
"Well, I'm surprised you know that much. But true. It was us." said Alford, rubbing his head with his hands.
"At least, we are currently partners, right? We must work together to fight the Monster." continued Alford as he reached out to Ren. He smiled, while Ren was still staring suspiciously at him.
All that was there was only holding their breath when Ren accepted Alford's handwriting.
Seeing that, the other six immediately approached.
"The monster is really weird. After receiving my amplified magic, it was even still standing." a woman carrying a staff and robed arrived to enter the conversation.
"Yes. His attack was also very powerful. He can even break through my [Cover]." continued the big, burly man.
Hearing that, Ren was surprised.
("The shield was indeed stronger than Edna's transparent shield, but it was much weaker than Edna's ice wall!! How could he possibly say it was strong?!") inner Ren shouted.
("In addition, a magic attack? Indeed it was big, but it was no more effective than the [Ice Projectile] that Edna made! How is their strength standard?")
Ren was still confused when he heard the seven of them discussing about their attack earlier on the black monster.
Meanwhile, the black monster still continued to damage several other buildings.
"Hey! As long as you guys are blabbering, this city will be destroyed, fool!!!" ren shouted as he pulled one of those carrying a sword to follow him.
The sword knight was forced to abandon his friend, and began to eradicate the small monsters that existed.
The knight was not exactly ugly, but could not be said to be skilled. When Ren only needed a few slashes, the Knight had to go to great lengths to defeat one. In fact, he had to be helped by one of the elves archers.
Meanwhile, Alford and the others were watching from afar.
("I didn't expect there to be anyone stronger than me in this world. It's really dangerous!")
("But the monster is too strong. It's too risky for me to fight it. It's good to let him fight it, then I can get rid of him when he's done and tired of fighting that monster.")
Alford smiled, and as usual, an authoritative smile.
"Hey! Come here!! I have a plan!" Alford shouted to Ren and his men who were fighting. Hearing that, the two of them immediately jumped back.
"You know our speed is lacking. Therefore, we will hand over the biggest monster to you, Ren."
"And we will take care of the little monsters, while continuing to give you support. Rian and I will attack with you, so don't be afraid" Alford said, holding one of his friends.
"You know I'm just a human being, don't you? Do you want to depend on me? And how can I defeat such a huge enemy?!!" Ren deliberately made excuses.
"I know you're human, but you're no ordinary human. I know you must have some tricks." replied Alford a little mockingly.
"And did you see in that monster's chest? There was something light up blue in his chest. It seemed to be his heart. Chances are he'll die if we stab him in that part."
"And that's your job. Our weapons won't hurt him, but somehow your weapons are much stronger than ours." continued Alford.
He was now making weapons as the reason they were unable to fight back.
Ren slammed softly, but in order not to be heard, he slightly shut his mouth.
"Sir Edna. I feel something bad here. I'll try to take Edna's sister, but don't stay away from you as the fight progresses." Ren whispered to Edna.
Edna who heard that was a little surprised, then turned her head with a face of disbelief. But he nodded his head in understanding.
"okay! I'll follow that plan. But, I want to bring Edna! He and I are inseparable partners. In other words, me and Edna are one pair. I'm gone, she's gone. And vice versa!" ren said firmly.
It makes Edna a little flushed thinking about the word Ren that can lead to misunderstanding.
Alford glanced at Edna for a moment, but then she nodded.
"alright. That's okay too. Then, do we agree?!" ask Alford.
"All right!!" Ren immediately got up, put back his Azantium sword into the Inventory silently. But maybe someone realized that his sword was gone.
The archer and spear user immediately attacked the black monster from a long distance, and Ren also immediately ran carrying Edna with his hand.
Meanwhile, Alford and the others drove the monsters closer.
"Yes! Support me like that, brother Edna! Don't lose to them!!" ren said as he lowered Edna in the middle of the battlefield. Edna nodded confidently.
That way, Ren immediately ran over and retrieved his Azantine sword from within the Inventory.
He did not hold himself back anymore, and only slashed down with all his might and increased his speed just like he had done before.
He was trying to target the chest of the monster, but it seemed that the monster also had a special instinct.
Ren did not hesitate to slash his back, to make a gap. But the monster did not act rashly while continuing to protect his chest.
There was a time when monsters stopped moving, and tried to say something.
"Was my feeling alone, but~" Ren slightly retreated when his sword came into contact with the long claws of the attacking monster.
"He's crying?" Ren slightly asked when he saw the monster face look wet.
Ren's heart also ached when he fought the monster, but Ren still ignored him. That was when, the monster tried to get close, and Ren thought it was an opportunity.
He immediately moved as fast as he could, passed through the entire hand gap, and moved towards the monster's heart.
"RENN!! WAIT UP!! STOP IT!!!" Edna shouted realizing something.
"Tu-wait! That heart?!!" ren's eyes widened, as he heard Edna's screams and his eyes also stared at something shining on the monster's chest.
Immediately, Ren retreated with an indescribable expression.
"Rin! You okay??" ask Edna who is approaching Ren immediately. But, his eyes were already filled with tears flowing down.
Ren's breathing was irregular, and his head was dizzy. He sees the world in a different way, like moving on his own. His heart rate was also getting faster, and making it louder every second.
"More. Do you know?" edna asked as she hugged Ren, starting to cry.
Ren just kept quiet, accepting Edna who was crying in his chest. His face was blank, staring at the monster with an overwhelming look of anger.
But he could still hold all his anger because there was still a crying Edna in his arms right now.
"Yes. I know."
"That's not the heart. It was a locket. To be exact, the pendant of the mother back then." replied Ren quietly.
