"Amazing. You two can get here." Echidna's voice welcomed their arrival.
Echidna sat leaning back and propping her cheeks on one of her hands, folding one leg and looking at her guests as if they looked disgusting in her eyes. And to his left Marzar faithfully stood beside him with a great sword hanging from his back.
"A woman of the demon race and.wolves of the beast race, a unique pair." Echidna stood from her throne. "After all this time I fell asleep, it's good that you came too. You guys are strong enough to get in front of me. Then let me use you guys to warm up."
After seeing it clearly, Alice was sure of what she was worried about . The Echidna before him was not his daughter's Echidna at all. Although Echidna always underestimated her opponent but she never showed such a look especially to him. Even her voice and manner of speaking no longer sounded the same in Alice's ears.
Alice held one side of her head and massaged it slowly. "Did he really forget everything?"
Alice's inner self began to doubt but ever since she had come all the way to that mountain, how could she possibly retreat when what she was looking for was clear before her.
"Dame!" Alice shouted to call out her daughter's name.
"Hoooh..you know me? Then you know who I am too, right?" As the leader of the Dragons and the one who had dominated the monsters on the Arkham continent from thousands of years ago, Echidna did not think that anyone would know his name.
"Shut up, it's not you I want to call." Timpal Alice soon.
Echidna raised one eyebrow in surprise. "Echidna." Alice called her daughter's name again. "Didn't you remember me? Don't you recognize me?" Alice asked as she patted her chest. The look on his face was grim, his voice became soft at the end of his sentence.
Echidna remained fixed in place, even her expression remained flat. However there was something that seemed to knock on his head and heart.
"That feeling again...." Echidna glanced at her chest and turned to look at Alice. "Is it something to do with that woman?"
The shadow of a woman suddenly flashed in his memory. Uncertain, the woman's shadow was blurry even Echidna could not recognize her voice and her appearance. Even so, somehow there is a familiar feeling that is not foreign to him.
Echidna stepped forward twice. "Woman, tell me. Do you know me?" His tone became firm as he furrowed his brows at Alice.
Alice raised her face. There is still a little hope left. At least he could still talk to her and try to make Echidna recall their memories. "Have you forgotten me? I'm Alice, your mama."
"Mama...? Mama...." Echidna's mouth muttered Alice's last words quietly. The mama? Since when did he have a mother? Echidna glanced at Alice's face once more and she got that strange feeling again, unfortunately she did not know to explain about that feeling.
Seeing the expression of Echidna who began to look doubtful, Marzar who had been standing beside the throne of Echidna immediately warned him. "Your Majesty! Don't listen to them. Don't be consumed by their deceit."
It was impossible for him to let what he had dreamed and worked for go to waste just because of a lowly female deemon. Marzar drew the great sword that was on his back.
"No need to talk anymore. We better get them out of here soon." He said as he pointed the tip of his sword at Alice and Fee.
For thousands of years he lived, never once did he ever call someone with the word 'mama'. As the one chosen by the Great Dragon Gloria, she had stood at the top. In fact, even though the races have been fighting for their kings and leaders. Echidna remained the strongest in his race.
A woman from the deemon race suddenly came before him and claimed to be his mother. Is that not an insult?
Hatred and anger made Echidna blind, she brushed off the warm inner feeling.
Alice took her breath. He had thought that he could create space for them to talk more. But seeing the disbelief on Echidna's face. Alice felt that she could no longer convince him.
"alright. There seems to be no other way to make you understand." Alice bit her lower lip.
Sirna already, there's nothing more to say. Alice doesn't expect to use violence to get her daughter back. Since the beginning of their meeting, Alice had already guessed two possibilities were coming. If Echidna's memory were to come back later, she would forget her mother and leave her alone. Or whether she will remain with him despite the presence or absence of memories of her as a mother.
"Echidna's my daughter!" Alice called him out loud again. "Maybe this is the last time I'll call your name. But remember, although it's short, but I'm glad to be a mother, a mother you've always been proud of." Alice turned around along with her heavy footsteps.
He paused for a moment to look. His eyes started to pierce. "Take care of yourself, Echidna my daughter. Good bye."
Looking at the back of the female deemon figure who was walking away, the small beat in Echidna's heart clanked even harder. A strange painful feeling. Echidna doesn't know what happened to her. Is that the magic of that woman? His chest stirred up making his breathing a little heavy.
Echidna. "Sucks." Revenge, hate, anger make him survive.
Echidna tried to ignore that feeling once again. For what he cared about it, because of the deemon woman he became what he is today.
He looked at Alice with uneasiness, then flicked his fingers which at once also made fire pillars before Alice blocking his path.
"Don't think you could just walk in and out after messing up my place." Echidna.
Alice turned around, the two stared at each other. Echidna thinks that Alice is a bully who can be a hindrance to her plan. Either now or in the future, the female deemon before her worried her and had to be finished off immediately.
"Really! He must die!" Mumbled. That evil whisper from his pile of negative feelings completely closed his eyes and heart.
"You.....Alright. I don't remember ever educating you like this. If that's what you want. Then let me give you a final lesson."
The reunion between mother and child that should have been something warm it became a fierce feud. Alice and Echidna, both of them never thought that the bloodshed would be a deep sadness later.
