Gorgeous Jewel
Chapter I Chapter 26

"Woaahh..look, look! Very soft." Tina's eyes twinkled as she pressed the cake on her plate with the spoon she held.

Alice could only smile and chuckle at Tina's playful behavior.

Tina then put a piece of the cake in her mouth. "mmm...It's delicious.." He said he was happy while holding one cheek.

"really?Is it that good, huh?"

Alicia remembers when she and Mary went to the pastry shop back then. Their expressions look similar. "Oh, I think I should let Mary taste it too." He thought as he realized that there was another person who liked sweet food by his side.

When she finished from the cake shop Alice headed to a blacksmith shop.

"Is this what you meant?" Tina Tanya was astonished. What's it to the blacksmith? Isn't Alice a magic user? Does he want to buy protective gear huh?

"Yes. I want to take my order."

"your order? Hmm...a weapon? An armor? Or the other one?"

"I ordered a sword."

Tina scratched one of her temples as she grew more astonished.

Both of them went through the door. Seeing the golden-haired sweet girl coming back, the shop owner's uncle immediately took out the item Alice ordered from under her desk.

"This is your order, young lady." Said Zeld the blacksmith as he thrust a sword at Alice.

"Thank you uncle." Alice took the sword, pulled it out of its sheath and swung it. "Light but hard. The handle is good too. Simple and convenient for the sword."

"I forged it from mitrile metal as you wish?" Sela Zeld's.

"Mitrile?!" Tina was suddenly shocked by "A-Alice?!" Tina immediately held onto both of Alice's shoulders?"

"Yes?"

"Isn't mitrile expensive enough. A-are you really..."

"Yes. I saw the metal was the only thing on display in the glass cabinet. Interested, I asked my uncle to show it. It turned out that the metal was so light yet so hard. So, that's how I got this sword." Obviously with a relaxed face.

Tina could only gawk and regret hearing that answer. "I forgot that you're the son of a Duke"

"So young lady, what do you think? That sword is one of my best works. I think the metal I found by accident no one would buy. It turned out that after a long time seeing it displayed in the glass cabinet, he finally sold."

"i like it. How much is uncle?"

"Because you paid the price of the metal. You only need to give me 10 silver coins for the cost of making it."

Alice reached into the pouch and took out a number of silver coins. "Here is uncle. Thanks again." Both of them left the shop.

"Don't hesitate to come next time young Miss" said the uncle as he waved his hand.

After getting his sword and the day has gone. The two returned to their dormitory.

At night Alice came out of her room after she told Mary.

"Where's the hell is the hell you going?" Ernard asked when he saw Alice coming out of the female dormitory.

"I want to go to the back lake of the academy that time."

"Let me accompany you."

"No. You just stay here. I need you to take care of Mary. I'm afraid someone isn't just after me but the people closest to me."

"Well if it wants you."

Arriving at the lake. Alice sat on a bench made of stone and looked at the twinkling of fireflies flying around the lake.

"I just love this place. Besides being calm, here I also feel peaceful."

Alice takes out her flute and starts playing it. "Maybe I'll ask a craftsman to make me a guzheng." His mind.

Meanwhile, Princess Marianne again awakens from her nightmare.

"Sister! Brother!!!" The screams are pretty loud.

His heartbeat was not because of the same dream that still disturbed his sleep. "That's three nights I didn't sleep well." His complaint was holding one side of his head. Although he was used to having nightmares, but his feelings remain unaccustomed to the emotional pressure he received. The dream did not make his body tired but it was as if the dream was eating his soul bit by bit.

Sometimes Marianne even cried unconsciously when she woke up from her dream. "I really don't know what to do" Marianne drowned her face between her two knees "Maybe the sky is punishing me."

Because of the disturbing emotions that never go away. Marianne went out alone to get some fresh air.

"Maybe I should just go to the lake. Seeing the sight of fireflies isn't bad either."

Dressed in a simple blazer dress, Marianne walked towards the lake. Arriving there he heard a voice that he had never heard before but sounded familiar in his ears.

"This voice..."

The melody of the beautiful inflatable music warmed his inner being. Marianne sped up her pace and saw someone sitting on a stone bench.

"He's..." Once again that familiar feeling tapped into his heart and he seemed to catch a glimpse of the figure he desperately longed for far from the bottom of his heart.

Marianne walked closer to the girl sitting down and playing her flute.

"Isn't that Alicia from the Strongfort family. But why.I feel comfortable when I see it. My heart is calm."

Alice realized that someone was approaching her. He then stopped playing the flute and turned to look at the man.

"Good night, Princess." Her gentle greeting when she saw the man turned out to be Princess Marianne.

Marianne suddenly felt awkward and nervous to talk to Alice. "Good night. What are you doing here?"

"I'm just enjoying my time. I love this place." Alice said as she looked towards the lake "What about you?"

"I'm.well, I love this place too." Marianne's awkward attitude seemed unusual. Somehow he suddenly stiffened to talk to Alice.

"really? Then we're the same." Alice said with a smile. "Your face looks unhealthy and exhausted. Are you okay?" Alice asked, looking at Marianne's slightly pale face and looking riled up.

Marianne sighed "Last-lately I've been having trouble sleeping. I'm afraid of the nightmares that always haunt me." Instantly Marianne came to her senses after saying her sentence. Why could she easily tell him this.

"Hmm... How about I play a beautiful melody for you?" Alice thought that maybe she helped Princess Marianne even a little.

"really? But..Where did you get that thing? Did you learn it from someone?"

"I asked a woodworker to make me. If it's for studying, I'm just practicing alone."

Curiosity seemed to stir in Marianne's heart.

"That's it." "Then please do." Polite request.

Alice also played the flute. With a very soft tone. His figure was really sparkling in the dark that night.

"This melody? Music that feels familiar." Marianne squeezed her chest. Not because of pain but as if there is a feeling of longing. "I'm sure, I'm sure no one can play it like he's playing this melody. Then..." Those hopeful eyes stared at Alice who was so late in her game.

"Sister..." Said slowly.
