Gorgeous Jewel
Chapter I Chapter 15

From the side of his eyes Leon saw their carriage surrounded, especially as the bandits shouted excitedly. "Do you underestimate me?" Upset that Leon wasn't fighting him seriously, Hangard continued to attack him blindly. Even for a Leon, he began to feel weak in both hands due to the attack of Hangard so strong.

"If this continues, I will lose first." His mind.

By concentrating the mana flow on his sword, Leon created an Aura sword that was stronger than before. Leon jumped high enough to make Hagard have to raise her head. A red light seemed to envelop Leon's sword. Hangard's instincts knew that Leon's attack this time was dangerous. He then shot his greatsword in front of him and tried to resist Leon's attack.

[Meteor Impact! ] Shouted Leon while pushing his sword slash to the ground.

A full-powerful attack that hit to the ground made the area around them explode. Dust and sand covered the view of Hangard. From the beginning Leon did not intend to attack Hagard using that ability. He was just looking for a gap to get away and immediately headed to the horse carriage.

In his worry, Leon hopes that Alice will be okay. He was dragged quite far from their carriage because of his fight against Hangard. But unfortunately his anxiety was in vain. Leon could not believe the sight before his eyes. Dozens of bodies of the bandits were lying around the train. Even leaving a soldier who fell to the ground trembling to look at the carriage. The bandit looked pale and helpless. "What's been going on?" The bandit looked like he had just experienced something terrible. Leon shook his head to return his focus to Alice. "No, it's not time for that." He ran towards their horse-drawn carriage.

"Miss!"

" Are you done?"

Leon was surprised once again. Alice was still reading books. "Are you okay?"

"Yes, I'm fine." Alice was still looking at her book. Alice then flipped over a single lembran and she seemed to be enjoying her time.. "Are you done?" Alice asked once more, then she closed the book and turned to Leon.

Leon doesn't know what to respond to. "Not yet miss." The answer was a little nervous because of confusion. At the moment Leon is like losing a cable in his head that makes him lose his words. Soon Hangard regained her sight. He was furious and with his [Haste] ability, Hagard darted towards Alice's carriage.

"How dare you!!!"

Just now he was about to target Leon's head and immediately wanted to slash him. A powerful energy pressure suddenly struck him. Hangard lost her momentum and stopped in place. His feet were heavy and shaking violently. "A...what is this? Who has this great power?" Although he did not feel any fluctuations of mana or magic energy with a large amount but once again his instincts made him bend his knees

Leon almost makes an attack to hold Hangard but he is surprised by Hangard's sudden silence and paled. Cold sweat poured violently from his temples. "What exactly is going on?" Benak Leon's.

"Tell whoever told you to. Sooner or later I'll meet them, so until then take good care of your neck." A cold voice entered his head.

"Sound transmission? is this voice transmission magic?" Hangard glanced around him but he found no one but Leon in front of him and the girl in the horse-drawn carriage to be their target. Unsure that Hangard was looking intently into the chariot. But he was surprised to find a pair of cold and piercing eyes as if he could not hide anything from them.

For a moment when the pressure from the energy dissipated Hangard quickly jumped back away from the terrifying figure present in the carriage. Leon was astonished to see Hangard's behavior so frightened. "What happened to these bloody fangs? Is he still the same as Hagard I fought." He thought as he sheathed his sword.

More than that Leon is suspicious of Hangard's eyes that can not be separated from the horse carriage that Alice was riding. His eyes radiated a deep fear, but..who was he afraid of? Mary's? Not likely. Then.." Is it possible that it was because of Miss Alicia?" Mumbled slowly.

Leon's suspicions grow even greater on Alicia. However, he could not draw any conclusions. After Hangard left, they were finally able to rest well. "I'm surprised, you can still sleep well even with the noise of last night." Mumbled Alicie while looking at the peaceful face of Mary who was still asleep.

When morning comes. They also make their journey. Awkward to ask, Leon could only notice the horse carriage Alice was riding from the outside.

"Master, our spies saw they had already arrived at the gates of the capital. What do we do next?"

In the room with a pile of books and covered without the desire of others, it appeared that someone in all black clothes was kneeling on the figure in front of him. The figure was tidying up the books that were in the closet without looking at the person kneeling beside him.

"Stay watch. Don't be rash and keep your distance as much as possible."

"Good, Master." Said the kneeling man and he vanished from his place.

The figure walked up to pick up a painting that was on the table. He slowly rubbed the painting as if he could really touch the person in the painting. Her eyes radiated a deep longing.

"Alicia Lein Strongfort's. Since you've arrived here, it's not rude if I don't welcome you." He muttered and then he rolled up the painting and kept it. With a smile on his face the figure left the room.
