"Your Majesty, Miss Alicia has arrived." The servant told the King who was behind the door.
"Please let him in."
By order of the King. Alice entered the room. He saw the King sitting accompanied by the Commander who led the Royal Knights.
Alice looked at Hendrick the King for a moment and glanced at the Commander in Chief.
Hendrick immediately knew the meaning of Alice's eyes. But given his current position and circumstances. Letting himself alone was not a wise choice let alone the Knight Commander was his old comrade-in-arms and a person he trusted a lot. "She's Reiner. He was the Commander who led the royal knights. Doesn't matter if he's here?"
Although the sentence sounded like a question but Hendrick's tone and gaze said otherwise. After all his status was that of a King, it was difficult to question the decision he had taken directly.
Alice smilingly answered Hendrick's question "Sure Your Majesty." He then bends over to greet Reiner.
Hendrick invited Alice to sit in front of him. Faced with a warm cup of tea. Alice glanced through the entire room before her attention returned to Hendrick.
"What do you think of this kingdom Miss Alicia?"
Hendrick did not immediately ask for the purpose of Alice's request yesterday but he wanted to make small talk while asking for the opinion of the young girl sitting in front of him about the kingdom he led. Somehow Hendrick felt that Duke Strongfort's first daughter was not an ordinary teenage girl in general.
"Does His Majesty ask for my views as a noble or as a commoner?"
Hendrick smiled faintly, wondering if Alice had asked him to give a subjective answer?
"I'm only asking for your opinion based on your knowledge."
Alice looked into the glass of warm tea and then she took a sip and put it back down. Without looking at Hendrick Alice replied." Sorry Your Majesty this may sound a little harsh but, according to His Majesty's request and according to what I know. Honestly, I feel that this country has prospered and is fine. I saw a lot of people smiling and laughing all the way here."
Alice's answer gave Hendrick a little satisfaction. That means that what he has been working on all this time is not in vain but. That was her dream, but the small smile on her face was only visible for a moment after Alice continued her sentence.
"But I See You as an old farmer in despair." Alice continued unmoved as she looked at Hendrick with her friendly expression.
In his mind he thought that Solus was indeed a prosperous country. He did not want to deny that fact. He who once ruled a large and vast empire could also see the ability and leadership of the current King. But, until when? How long will this country survive like that?
Seeing an old old king before his age. With his weak and sickly-looking body, how could he defend this kingdom in the future?
The endless polemics in the royal family will only harm their people in the future. "I remember my prime ministers who argued every morning. They always argue one or two things the same, say for the benefit of the people but the stupidity of their debate itself makes them forget who they are arguing for. At the end of the day, they're just trying to take each other down." Alice laughed grimly in her mind.
Suddenly Hendrick and Reiner gasped at Alice's reply. Reiner was astonished at Alice's presumptuous words but seeing Hendrick laughing suddenly made him calm but a little confused.
"so yeah.. Apparently so. Can Miss Alicia explain what that meant?"
"I'm looking at you with this kind of circumstance as in a desperate state to keep your fields fertile and thinking about how to sell your crops at a satisfactory price but the people who are together You don't know about how hard your efforts may even be those who urge you or some who just sit quietly waiting for the results."
Hearing Alice's opinion, Hendrick nodded his head in agreement with what Alice meant. He closed his eyes and thought for a moment.
"But Miss Alicia, it's easy to say but it's hard to do."
Alice turned her gaze towards Reiner then smiled. Reiner himself was confused by that expression on his face. Why is he smiling at me? Her thought.
"For this reason His Majesty needs people like Mr. Reiner beside you and my arrival here also wants to help you."
Helping out? What can a young girl like you do? Hendrick was initially hesitant about the statement but Alice was not kidding at all. Her serious face hinted that she could indeed do something for him.
"Does this have anything to do with your request?"
"Yes, Your Majesty."
"Then say. I'll fulfill it as long as it's limited to my ability."
Alice lowered her head while thanking.
"I can help Your Majesty to cure your illness."
Both of them were instantly stunned. Reiner immediately placed one of his hands on the hilt of his sword.
Other than Reiner, the Queen and the servant who personally served the King there could be no one else who knew about it.
"Say! Where'd you know that?"
Even so Alice remained steadfast and relaxed. He twirled his fingers on the lips of the cup before finally drinking the tea slowly. "Does Your Majesty believe that I said that no one told me?"
Hendrick and Reiner were shocked. Alicia Lein Strongfort did not even show any reaction when faced with the Aura pressure they both had. They began to believe that this young girl was indeed very different from other teenagers.
Hendrick took a deep breath and released it as well as Aura killed him. Followed by Reiner.
"For now, I trust you."
"Thank you Your Majesty."
"So, how are you going to cure me?"
"That's easy. You just need to undress."
The obvious answer made both of them shocked. Reiner could barely hold his jaw to fall.
Alice let out a small laugh, she realized what she had said earlier. "I'm sorry or what I said, but you seem to misunderstand me. I mean, you just have to turn around and get undressed."
I don't know how many times their hearts have been played like this.
Shortly after, Hendrick sat on his bed bare-chested.
"You can turn around." Hendrick.
Alice walked up to the King who was currently showing her back to him.
"Your Majesty, there's no need to be tense. I'd like you to stay relaxed and breathe as normal. Although in the future it will hurt a little but that's where I'm treating you. I'm sorry but I hope you can hold it."
Alice stood looking at Hendrick's back. Full of wounds and looking a little burly, it was no mistake that he was a war veteran, he thought.
Alice then gathered the Qi energy in her hand. Slowly he concentrated the Qi on his two index fingers until they formed a needle. Smooth and as thin as possible. Alice made it like an acupuncture needle.
Reiner was amazed to see the change in air pressure around Alice.
"Your Majesty, I begin."
One by one Alice began to stick needles in some parts of Hendrick's back. The pain slowly enveloped each joint. After that, Alice again flowed her Qi in the needles that she had stuck earlier. Pure energy began to flow as if cleansing Hendrick's body. The pain from his leg crept up to his back as well as from his arm.
Reiner looked agitated at Hendrick sweating. What the hell is going on? This girl didn't even touch her, how could Her Majesty look so in pain? Mind restless.
After collecting the poison in Hendrick's body at one point. Alice immediately locked it and pointed it at her upper back. With one clap of Alice's palm full of Qi at the center of her back. Hendrick spewed blood that was dark red.
"Your Majesty is done."
Both seem exhausted. Dimata Reiner Alice just stood up and patted Hendrick alone even so he could not deny that he felt a foreign energy that had enveloped the entire room.
"It's the first time I've treated someone after so long even more so my first patient is a King but thank goodness everything went well." Mind relieved.
Reiner panicked when he saw Hendrick vomit blood and then gave him a piece of cloth to wipe his mouth and wipe him to change clothes.
From behind the wooden partition. Hendrick felt that his body was much better and he felt refreshed than ever. It didn't even take an hour but the effects of Alice's treatment were so overwhelming.
After changing clothes. Hendrick with a happy feeling and a smile on his face walked over to Alice. "I don't know what Miss Alicia has done but I'm very grateful. After all these years, I finally feel refreshed."
"You don't have to be shy. Anyway I'm just giving you a little treatment."
Hendrick laughed for a while and said, "Miss Alicia is too low. So, what about your request?"
The sudden sound of knocking on the door brought their conversation to a halt.
"Your Majesty. It's time to take your medicine." The soft, melodious voice of the woman sounded from behind the door.
Alice wildly. The uneasy feeling in his heart, that gripping and unpleasant Mana clearly felt close, so close that he himself could not take his eyes off the figure of the woman standing behind the door.
The red-haired woman stood waiting for her to be welcome in.
