"Why is that possible?" Leon can't dwell in front of Alice. How could her self who had already reached the Master stage be helpless before an Alice.

Leon then remembered Hangard who was in the same position as him. When he tried to stand up using his ability. Alice again held him back with her inner strength.

Her hair stood up and her legs shook violently. "I haven't told you to stand up. Didn't you learn ethics." Hard-wearing Alice cold.

The more he fights, Leon just gets more depressed. His curiosity was answered already and finally he was sure that the Alice in front of him was not the same Alice. " Who are you?!"

"Alicia Lein Strongfort."

"No! No-na Alicia can't possibly have this kind of power."

"Trust me or not, it's up to you."

After quite a while, Alice then released Leon from her Qi pressure.

"As a knight you neglect your duty. My father told you to protect me but you prefer your ego over your duty. If I were weak you wouldn't see me here. Go home. I don't need someone like you. You don't deserve to be a knight in my eyes."

Alice's words pierced right into Leon's chest. But, in reality, indeed what Alice said was true. Leon remained knee bent and did not dare to lift his body. Based on what Alice said, she felt ashamed if she had to call herself a knight. You idiot! Yep. After many years of service to the Strongfort family. Just this time he felt ashamed just because of his curiosity which made him negligent in carrying out the orders of Duke Strongfort.

Leon's head turned around to look for answers. Does he have to stay? But he had lost his confidence in Alice's presence. Then what if he comes home? Wouldn't the Duke question about what happened and how he could fail?

Although he was prepared with the risks he had to take but Leon was still thinking about his pride as a knight. If he really runs at this time, maybe in the future he will do it again.

"Miss Alicia!" Call Leon even though Alice is still sitting in the chair in front of him. "Let me serve you. Before I realized that I was wrong but please Miss give me a chance to serve you." Firmly full of confidence.

"stand." Alice's still flat voice made Leon rise up "Look at My Eyes." Leon raised his face and saw Alice. The eyes are the same as before. Seeing him with a condescending and meaningless look, made Leon have to endure the tightness in his chest. "Prove to me that you really want to serve me, not as a knight of the Strongfort family but as a knight of mine."

Leon was silent as he looked at Alice. The serious face and eyes were thinking of finding a way to convince Alice. Not long enough Leon pulled his sword out. He then stabbed his thigh without a second thought. Leon held his mouth tightly not to scream. Although the sword did not pierce through his thigh but the blood poured out quite a lot.

Alice smiled slightly. He did not expect that Leon who hated him so much actually swore allegiance to be his knight.

"I take your oath." After that Alice moved out of her chair. "Mary, you can turn around."

Mary was very curious about what was going on behind her. The cold and gripping air that made his neck goosebumps and the sound of the sword being cut and Leon's oath that really made him wonder more. He saw it very little but when he thought about Alice's voice, he was very afraid. Her usually gentle and friendly miss sounded different. Cold and cruel as he did not feel that it was the voice of Alice he had been serving.

When Mary turned around. He was surprised to see Leon whose legs were full of blood. He wanted to. ask about what happened but, he was still afraid of Alice.

After taking a glass of water. Alice came to Mary. With a shady face and a soft voice he said "Sorry to trouble you. I need you to take care of the wound."

"Good Miss" There seems to be nothing for her to worry about anymore. Perhaps, something happened between them and it made Alice really angry like that Mary and her head thought.

After the final dressing, Leon thanked Mary for helping him.

"Yes...If you may know, what happened between the two of you? I just saw the lady that angry this time."

Leon closed both of his eyes with one of his hands. "That's my fault. I'm the one who made her mad." Leon fell silent and let out a long sigh.

Seeing Leon like he didn't want to talk about the incident. Mary cheered him. "Thank God it's over and the lady's not angry anymore. Whatever it is you better not make the lady angry. Know it? Miss is a nice and caring person. If there's anything you don't have to hide. Just tell the lady and she will definitely help you. Well...We were like that too at Strongfort's residence."

Leon smiled bitterly hearing Mary praise Alice. Either because they just didn't know about the girl or because Leon was still feeling guilty. "You're right. Next time I might have to be more open to Miss." Leon thinks he might be the fool for not trusting Alice.

Mary smiled once more and turned to leave Leon's room. "Have a lot of rest. I'll take care of miss when you're absent."

"Thank you Mary."
