Gorgeous Jewel
Chapter IV Chapter 127

The blonde-haired elf woman reminded him of his past self. Alice sighed considering how embarrassing her attitude was at that time. There is nothing good and can be proud of him other than his looks and surname. Every day, he chided the servants, treating them like worthless slaves.

Orgon smiled bitterly. "That's how this country is. Although there is no such thing as slavery here, as you can see. The caste seems to determine our destiny."

Orgon passed back to the back of his cashier's desk leaving Alice still quietly looking out the window.

"No matter if you're a genius or a talent, even if you're capable, as long as you're not a high elf, then your job, status, all aspects of your life are determined at birth." Orgon said, he then took out a small dagger and wiped it with a white cloth.

The customer stands there. The sudden silence seemed to give an uncomfortable buzzing of pain. Orgon occasionally glanced from the corner of his eyes.

"Is he so surprised that he can't speak?" His inner. "I hope he's used to it, because what he's seeing right now is one bad thing out of all the other bad things in this kingdom."

The conjecture of Orgon was not entirely wrong, but what kept Alice from seeing the scene was that the Mana pressure around the high elf woman was slowly changing.

"Do you want to go there? Already madam. This country does look good on the outside but when you know what is hidden deep inside, you might think twice about staying here. Events like this often occur in various places." Obviously Orgon.

Ogre. Alice stared intently out the window. The bitter taste mixed with bitter made him pity. "Actually I don't want to interfere in their affairs, but what that woman did has gone too far." Alice said in her boiling head.

Although she did not make a sound, Alice knew that the woman's lips were moving and casting a magic spell.

Orgon who was wiping his weapon heard the doorbell ringing, when he turned his head, Alice was no longer there.

"What are you doing? Who're you?" Orgon immediately looked out after the window heard the question from the voice of the high elf woman.

His eyes were wide in surprise. "In-dia...." Not that she thought, it turned out that the woman was out to stop them.

"To use magic to punish your servant? That's already too much." Alice's mind then she walked out of the weaponry shop.

Alice quickly caught the whip of the high elf woman before she hit the elf man's body.

"W-What?! " The high elf woman was shocked by Alice's sudden presence and held her Mana-coated whip with her bare hands.

"You... Not someone of our race. Move away! It's none of your business." Firmly the high elf woman but Alice did not flinch. He just took off the whip he caught earlier then turned to look at the state of the elven man behind him who was full of scars.

Highlight the eyes of the high elf woman as if examining Alice from the tip of her foot to the tip of her head. "Ras hyuman apparently. I can't believe there's someone from the hyuman race in this kingdom. Well, it's the bodo time. I want you to leave while I'm still being kind."

Alice looked at the sight of the people around her. They were annoyed and looked angry, but no one dared to step forward to help this elf man.

"It's not much different from slavery. Even without chains or seals. It's like they're living a life of entanglement and freedom." His mind is a little angry.

"Did you hear me human?" The high elf woman became furious because Alice ignored him. "Guards, arrest him and drag him. I want him to see what's going to happen because of his stupidity."

Two private soldiers who were also from the high elf tribe approached Alice. Echidna immediately released her Aura pressure as the two hands of the man wanted to touch Alice's arm.

"Ghhaakk!"

Indiscriminate, Echidna did not take the responsibility to make everyone fall on his knees. Especially for those two soldiers who felt an even greater pressure.

Alice looked at the expression of the black-haired elf man. "I know, there's nothing I can do for you." Alice grabbed Echidna's head and gently stroked her. Echidna understood, she pulled back her Aura.

"Even if I help her this time, I can't guarantee for the next one. And as the Dwarf said, I won't be able to change anything if I don't finish it off its roots."

If he did, Alice would only bring about a new grudge.

Alice shook her head, walking slowly towards the high elf woman who was slumped on the ground, she extended her hand with a smile. "Are you okay?"

"...." - ".The attitude of the high elf woman really made it as if she was looking in the mirror and seeing her former self. Alice turned around ignoring the threat of the high elf woman. He took out a healing potion from his dimension ring and gave it to the black-haired male elf. "drink. It'll heal your wounds."

The male elf picked it up, his voice sounding soft and trembling as he thanked Alice.

No one knows the real identity and where the man came from. He walked away from the crowd with his leisure.

Although she felt that she had been humiliated, the high elf woman could only look at Alice's back that was getting further away. He and his bodyguards did not twitch in front of him. The woman clenched her teeth and turned back to her carriage.

Asiya immediately ran after Alice. "Alice..!" Call her.

Alice stopped, she turned to look at Asiya. "Asiya, what's wrong?"

"So that..are you part of them?"

Alice tilted her head not understanding Asiya's intentions. "They? Who do you mean by them?"

Asiya brought her face closer and whispered into Alice's ear. "Those rebel groups I mean."

"No. I just as often have no connection with such a group."

"I think you're part of their group."

His face looked a little disappointed.

Alice remembers that Asiya was a commander of a platoon. "Maybe he's worried that I'm with the rebels and that I'm going to ruin this kingdom?" Alice in his mind.

"You don't have to worry. If I may, I do not want to interfere too much in your royal affairs. My only goal is one, which is the forest in the north."

Asiya nodded. "Then. Are you sure you won't be joining them later? After seeing you earlier, I believe you must have felt that what happened just now must have been unfair, right?"

"Well or not. I couldn't determine that myself before looking at everything. There's nothing I can do to save that guy anyway."

"That's why I came to you. I feel that you are a person who has a high spirit of justice. Actually was... I, I'm a part of them."

Both of Alice's eyebrows were raised because a warrior commander had just told her that he was one of the rebels. "Is it okay to tell this?"

Wouldn't it be dangerous if someone had heard what he just said?

"No. That's why I wanted to invite you to join us. You saw that. That's our goal, we want to change the order of this country and get rid of those high elf nobles."

"removed them? Are you going to kill them?"

Asiya shook her head. "No. We want to let them know what it's like to suffer us, the other elves all along."

"That's it..." Alice was silent for a moment. "That's ridiculous." His next made Asiya furrow his brows.

Rebellion only for satisfaction will not bring prosperity. Alice understands the good intentions of Asiya who wants to stop the injustice, but if only for revenge, then it is not just something that arises from their ego.

"K-ridiculous you say? What do you mean? All this time we elves have always been stepped on and oppressed by those high elves. What do you mean, it's ridiculous that we want to avenge what they did?"

Alice took her breath. He patted one of Asiya's shoulders. "Doesn't that mean you're not that different from them?"
