Chapter III Chapter 75

On his way to Demonscar, the capital of the Arkham continent. Their carriage was blocked by some monsters.

While in the middle of the desert, Alice and Echidna must fight off centipedes and giant worms. The fight lasted quite a long time because the monsters numbered not only one but five. In addition, the giant worms that attacked them had the ability to hide into the ground. Alice was quite troubled when they were seriously injured and always went into the ground. After defeating the monsters. Alice and Echidna return to their carriage.

"Is Uncle okay?" Alice asked as she looked into the carriage.

Nitouka who pulled the carriage of their carriage suddenly stopped. The three who were sitting in the carriage heard the sound of his grunts and roars. The Nitouka knew that something dangerous was after him.

From behind the dark black shadows of the trees and bushes that enveloped them, rays from the many pairs of staring eyes fiercely surrounded them.

The dark gray-haired wolf quickly lunged out from behind the trees and bushes lunged at them. One by one came quickly from each side.

"Echidna, don't use fire magic." Alice said from behind the carriage as she sensed the Mana pressure from behind her.

Echidna stopped the fire magic she had almost fired. "Eh?...Fine." Face pouting. His mother forbade him even though he wanted to burn the monsters. Echidna growled in annoyance and raised her fists and kicks at the incoming wolf. Although only a physical attack, but once attacked then the enemy hit just thrown. The wolves that attacked them were like endless. When one dies, another will come. Alice narrowed her eyes and was aware of the oddity.

"As long as there is a shadow they are able to make as many clones as possible." Added. The merchant uncle then looked over briefly from behind the small vent. He was shocked and jolted backwards as the wolf's body piece hit the wall of a nearby carriage. "Damn!." Scared screams.

"So it looks like that. They deserve to be endless. But if it uses fire magic then it will burn this forest. Surely with the darkness of this forest, we need a great light." Benak Alice's. Alice paused for a moment and watched every move of the wolf pack. Alice used her consciousness once again to sense the number and distance of the wolves. He nodded once, indicating that he had found a solution to overcome them.

Alice thrust her sword into the ground. He raised his right hand in front of his chest and opened his index and middle fingers up.

Very quickly the ground around him froze. The wolf leader who was at the very back was late in realizing the phenomenon to call back his companion. His sharp gaze stared far away at the figure of the woman who made that mess. Alice raised her face and smiled sinisterly forward as she felt a presence watching her from a distance.

The leader of the wolf saw clearly Alice's face that lowered her. He was furious then galloped over the frozen ground. His sharp, hard nails helped him move so as not to slip. As he approached Alice, the wolf split itself into three and jumped towards Alice. His claws and fangs were ready to tear the woman before his eyes. But as he stayed a few inches away from the woman, his body suddenly could not move in the air.

Spiky-pointed ice appeared suddenly from the ground and restrained his movements. Not only him, every wolf that was within Alice's ice range did not twitch.

The ice is so strong. The wolves went on a rampage and roared but they still could not escape.

Alice and the wolf leader looked at each other.

"We just passed by. I know this is your territory and you're just trying to defend it. Your killing intent is not the same as the bloodthirsty animals or monsters I've been meeting." Her speech. Then he stepped closer where he could begin to touch the wolf's nose.

The wolf groaned by showing its big fangs. His body was three times more than that of the other wolves.

Glacial Eternal Slumber is a similar technique like Domain or region. This technique makes anyone who is within reach of the ice floor like being in his grasp. Alice easily manipulates her attacks or defenses during her time on the ice.

Alice looked into the wolf's eyes deeply. "I like you. Are you interested in coming with me?"
