Chapter II Chapter 59

Trapped and adrift in a dimensional passageway she doesn't know, Alice is unconscious. However, deep in her subconscious, Alice met the figure of the Goddess who had been waiting for her behind the black hole.

The Goddess went deep into Alice's sea of consciousness with the intention of taking over the already weak girl's body. However, he was amazed when he saw a small plain with beautiful plum trees blooming on it, the plain was not even suitable to be called an island when viewed from its size.

The Goddess approached the place, there she saw the figure of a long black-haired girl with a fresh teenage body in general was standing looking at the sea. His arrival made the girl turn her head, when the Goddess was immediately stunned by the beauty of the girl. The black eyes that were aligned with his black hair and the white face were radiant like pure milk that was untainted by anything. Not only that, the figure of the lonely-looking girl exuded an aura that made her look graceful and feel warm. Sandwiched in her heart, the Goddess wanted to come closer and hug the lonely-looking girl.

"Thousands of years, only this time I saw a girl as beautiful as her." Mumbled Slowly The Goddess.

"You who?" Asked the girl with such a soft voice in her ears.

"I..Emm..Nyx"

"The nyx? a slightly odd name." Said the girl while tilting her head with a wondering expression. "I'm You Nian, Lan You Nian." Continue to introduce himself.

The Goddess chuckled as she heard the name of the girl. "You also have a strange name."

In the depths of his heart, he somehow felt that he was a match for the girl and wanted to hang out with her for longer. But Nyx soon realizes her original purpose, her heart must not be shaken just because of temporary feelings. For the sake of his ultimate goal, however, he had to obtain the body of the girl.

"Nyx, what is the need for you to come to this place?" You Nian asked still in a soft tone.

Nyx suddenly lost her words, she did not dare to say her purpose as her eyes met You Nian. "I.i.want..." Nyx glanced to the left and to the right because of wrong behavior. He himself was confused by what had happened to him.

"This isn't your place, come back." You Nian said, then he turned his back to Nyx.

Nyx reached out her hand and wanted to call You Nian but she came to a halt halfway through. He clenched the hand, grasped it firmly and pulled it back. Nyx then took a deep breath to correct her belief.

"I'm here to take over your body." Bright Nyx, but You Nian did not show any reaction at all. Nyx was a little annoyed that You Nian did not show the expression he had imagined. Nyx felt that the girl ignored her "I don't care if you want to or not. I'm gonna take over this body anyway." This next sounds like a whine.

You Nian smiled faintly, although he only lived five hundred years but his soul potential to live was thousands even tens of thousands of years, even tens of thousands of years, if only he had not received betrayal from those he loved. Perhaps he was already in nirvana and was actually standing in eternity.

"You won't, go home while I'm still being kind. This is my last warning." Reply You Nian flatly.

Nyx did not care, she ignored You Nian's words and instead began to gather energy to replace the girl's body consciousness. You Nian turned around, he shook his head. Nyx who was ready to attack You Nian's soul consciousness then fell silent, she stepped back in shock at what was happening around her all of a sudden.

You Nian simply flicked his finger and the place changed completely. The ocean surrounded by darkness became bright and the scenery around them expanded. No longer a small square, now a wooden street, wooden bridge, small gazebo and a large luxurious building like a palace stood on the ocean right at the end of the road.

Nyx trembled slightly in fear because of the domineering feeling from the girl that made her face paled. Nyx The Goddess of Darkness shrieked at such a vast and lively place. Can he really take over this girl's body? Benak Nyx began to doubt.

"Nyx, Goddess of Darkness. Are you so eager for revenge for your father's death?" You Nian's question made Nyx surprised. How did he know about his secret?

Arriving at the gazebo, You Nian flicked his hand to the side so that there was a chair and table for the two of them. "Sit down." He gently pointed at one of the chairs.

Nyx nodded and followed him just like that, she looked like a very obedient child despite her age of thousands of years. Nyx herself is not aware of her behavior, for some reason the figure of You Nian is so domineering like her late father.

The two then spend their time, telling a story about Nyx's past which is quite bitter.

After a time that did not feel long passed, You Nian felt that the fate of Nyx's father was not much different from his. You Nian felt sympathy seeing Nyx's moody expression as she recounted her past.

"Nyx, unfortunately I have to block your desire to take over my body. But, I want you to stay here."

"What-What! Don't be silly! Whatchu mean?! I don't care, if I have to fight, then I will be as strong as possible against you." Obviously Nyx was firm as she was aghast from her chair.

You Nian then changed her appearance to her current self, namely as Alicia Lein Strongfort.

"I don't care who you really are but this body of yours will be mine!"

Nyx then attacked Alice with soul force, but Alice remained relaxed in her seat. "Here, I'm the host. As hard as you fight, everything will be in vain." Reply Alice while resisting Nyx's attack.

Nyx did not stay still in place, she released a large number of magic circles instantly that led to Alice, but with a single snap of a finger from Alice, the magic circle just shattered.

Nyx Gritted her teeth in annoyance. Once again he did the same but for the second time Alice called off her attack. Again, again and again, the magic circle appeared increasingly fast and ready to attack Alice but Alice only needed to do the same to undo all those formations.

Nyx's soul consciousness began to weaken, feeling that she could no longer, Nyx chose to retreat. However, it was too late, Nyx was trapped, she was blocked by something invisible and difficult to penetrate. Nyx who was floating in the sky turned to look at Alice.

"I've said it before. Anyway, I'm not gonna hurt you. I know your soul is unstable and will soon disappear. You can't keep your soul consciousness in Aria for too long, so I'm telling you to stay here." Alice Obviously.

"Are you telling the truth? How can I trust your words?"

Alice tapped her fingers on the table while leaning her cheeks on her other hand. "You who stand before me are proof. If if I wanted to eliminate you, I would have done it all along."

Nyx swallowed her saliva, what Alice said was indeed true. "All right, I'll trust you." Then Nyx came down and stood in front of Alice.

Alice walked to the side of Nyx. "I want to show you something too." Alice then opened her palm and let out an energy that felt familiar to Nyx.

Both Nyx's eyes widened, that energy, that former will, belonged to an ancient hero thousands of years ago.
