Gorgeous Jewel
Chapter III Chapter 99

After defeating the two big golems, Fee made a fuss by smashing the giant gate that was blocking him.

"The Ancient Temple Of Dark Dragon. That's how the name of this place should match what Rose told me." Said Alice.

The two passed through the rubble of the gate and saw so many dragons standing up to welcome their arrival.

"Wah.wah, how festive, they really know ethics and how to welcome a guest." Said Fee smiling sinisterly looking at the dozens of dragons.

"This place is so big that it can hold so many dragons." Alice was amazed to see the walls, pillars and simple old interior that adorned the interior of the room.

The sound of applause distracts them. A red-haired man with a half-dragon and half-human humanoid form emerged from behind one of the large pillars.

"Welcome to our Great Temple. I didn't think you could get here. I salute your toughness little devil." Said the man in a tone that sounded disdainful to both of them.

Kyrant spread both his hands to the side as if he was exposing the entire dragon that surrounded them. But it seems like Alice and Fee don't care about it. Their numbers or strength, both of them no longer cared. Once inside, there is no option to retreat. Alice's goal was already in front of her eyes. This time, he had to get his daughter back.

"Hows it? Are you sure you can beat them?" Ask Fee.

"Sure Fee, you're here anyway. At least I can give my back to you." Alice replied with a small laugh.

Fee shook his head looking at Alice's attitude which still seemed relaxed despite being surrounded by a large amount of power. "Well, if you can still joke around like that right now, they don't mean anything to you." Inwardly

Looking into Alice's determined eyes, Fee felt that he would try even harder today.

Fee then snorted in response to Alice's little joke. "God! I told you before, these dragons are not much different from a lizard in my eyes."

Feeling neglected, the veins in Kyrant's temple stiffened as it rose. The deemon woman really did not consider him an opponent. "Curtain! This time you seek death. I'll show you how strong we are, the dragon race." Kyrant muttered annoyedly.

Alice looked at the red-haired man carefully. He felt a familiar Mana energy. Alice narrowed her eyes while twirling the memories in her head.

"Ohh..! You don't feel foreign. Turns out you were the cloaked man who ran away from me that time." Alice laughed softly giving a scornful, mocking smile, making Kyrant even more annoyed.

In order to keep his face in front of the other dragons, Kyrant, whose status was the son of a leader of the dragon race before the arrival of Echidna, began to look for excuses.

"You-you! It's bullshit!" His nervousness managed to cover up as he laughed loosely and accused Alice back. "A mighty dragon like me ran away from the deemon race with a small body like yours?! Even I doubt you can withstand my footwork." Kyrant was arrogant.

From what he said it was true and the other dragon races believed it. They laughed out loud at the woman.

"What do I think there's trouble here?" The voice of the woman who had just joined in shifted everyone's gaze.

The dragons including Kyrant turned towards him and knelt down. The woman stood at the end of the stairs like a ruler who should be worshipped.

"Yes, Your Majesty."

"Didn't I tell you to welcome them? What took you so long just to clean up a little dog and a female demon of this deemon race?" The woman rebuked Kyrant in a threatening tone.

"I'm sorry for my negligence, Your Majesty. I'll immediately execute your orders."

Meanwhile Alice continued to watch the woman who made the dragons bow to her. Although the distance was quite far, but Alice could clearly see the woman's face.

He was confused and asked Fee who had the Clairvoyance ability. "I'm not sure, but my heart seems to say she's my daughter. Fee what do you think?"

"You're not wrong Alice. She is indeed Echidna, your daughter. His current form was only a Mana manifestation that he used to disguise his true form but. I'm sure that your daughter has regained her memory."

Alice looked back at the woman. "Echidna..." He mumbled to say his daughter's name.

The shape of his face, his mature body and his voice and aura, all that he saw before his eyes was not the Echidna that had always been with him. After calling her daughter's name slowly, Alice hoped that she would answer him and call him mama as she always did.

His hands shook either from disappointment or happiness. His chest narrowed as he looked at the foreign face. Worry came to cover his heart. Echidna's memory has returned, should she give up and let it go? Alice does not know. But, deep in the corner of her little heart, Alice really loved Echidna and wanted to stay with her.

Is it wrong to be a little selfish?

"No! I can't falter. If she's not my old daughter's Echidna anymore, then I'll take her off." Alice took a deep breath and again strengthened her resolve. "I have to talk to him. Is it his decision to stay or come with me. I want to hear that from his mouth."

Alice turned to Fee, the two stared at each other for a moment and Alice nodded as a sign that she was going to stay forward.

From another point of view. Echidna who was standing at the top of the stairs looked down and noticed the figure of a female deemon coming into her territory. He glanced at her for quite a long time.

"This woman...." A small pressure suddenly felt on his chest. His heart was racing a little faster.

Echidna raised her arm and directed her palm to touch her chest which suddenly beat faster. "This woman gives a strange feeling. He's no stranger to me."

Before his doubts became greater, the hatred in his heart pulled back from those feelings. Kill it! Right now, Echidna did not need to show mercy to anyone, especially to the one who dared to set foot in his territory. Echidna, who had just returned, wanted to make the woman's deemon an appetizer, would attack her on the continent of Regnum.

Echidna. "I look forward to a satisfactory result." And then he left that place.

Seeing Echidna leave, Alice immediately made a move but a dragon suddenly jumped down and blocked her path.

"Little devil, where are you going? You're not going anywhere anymore. This place will be your funeral."

Alice looked at the haughty dragon with great annoyance. Without further ado, Alice pulled out her sword and floated a slash.
