Chapter II Chapter 58

Cliff slammed back and dragged on his feet. He restrained his body by plugging the tip of his spear into the ground, Cliff stopped and he fell on his knees.

His breath began to sting. Cliff raised his hand and pointed it at Alice, dozens of magic circles were created just like that in the air on both sides. The magic circles glowed and bombarded Alice with explosive fireballs. Fortunately Alice managed to dodge, also thanks to Lilia's support, Alice managed to avoid fatal injuries.

From behind the puff of smoke, Cliff got up and lunged towards Alice. Where had he put a large amount into his spear. Cliff was very fast moving towards Alice and the sharp tip of the spear was pointed right at her heart.

"Damn!" Cliff got angry and hit the rocks next to him. "What are you really? Based on my observations all along, you're just an ordinary weak girl. Are you really Alicia Lein Strongfort?" Cliff's grunts echoed throughout the room. Cliff tried to get up, he already had nothing left in his hands. He dropped his spear as Alice kicked him and his Mana was even at the tip of the horn.

"The killers I sent back were professionals and they wouldn't come back after making sure their target was dead. I didn't think they were fooling me with that false report" Cliff said, spitting to the side and wiping his bloodied lips.

Alice raised one eyebrow, she was amazed by the resilience of the man who was still standing in front of her after receiving so many moves from her.

"You, many times you've foiled my plans. I don't know how you saved the King and Queen but this time, here, I'm going to make this place your grave" continued Cliff annoyed while pointing at Alice. His face flushed with mounting anger.

Awakened already, in the end Alice's guess was right. The mastermind behind her murder was someone related to the temple and it was Cliff who was also the perpetrator who teamed up with the demon race to destroy this kingdom by poisoning the King and making Sang The queen became a puppet.

And now, he wanted to sacrifice the Temple Head under the pretext of purifying the world. Heh, ridiculous. Alice shook her head slowly.

"Because of you!" Cliff smiled cynically. Finally the girl fell into his trap.

However, the victory he craved was gone when he knew his magic was thrown away by Alice.

Alice twisted her body while swinging her sword in the air.

Cliff had run out of power, as well as his Mana, he had used everything in his last attack earlier.

Now, there's no more obstructions. Alice narrowed her eyes looking at the large crystal. To him, Cliff wasn't important at the moment. He suddenly felt something bad in front of him. Something that can make the feathers stand up.

Alice gathered an enormous amount of Qi on her sword, legs and arms. His Qi pressure even made the wind revolve around him.

Cliff laughed "Freely, you won't be able to break the barrier. A little more, just a little more you will witness the presence of the Goddess." He said and then he laughed again.

Alice was furious at his chatter, at first he would not kill Cliff now but he really could not stand it.

The entire plum blossom petals that were around them started to gather around Alice. Simultaneously as Alice released her slash, the flower petals fused together, circling and forming a long dragon.

The figure of the dragon opened its mouth and showed its huge fangs as if it was ready to devour anything in front of it. The dragon figure from the petal collection devoured Cliff then crashed into the Crystal Stone that was near the statue.

Unfortunately, the attack was still less powerful to break through that magic barrier.

"The mortal, a little more..." Say Cliff even with a body filled with wounds.

Alice clicked her tongue, she turned her head and saw Cliff's spear on the floor. Soon Alice approached the spear, lifted it with a footstroke and kicked it firmly towards the crystal.

KRAAK'S! There was a sound of a crack from the crystal.

Turns translucent.

Alice ran and jumped and threw her fists at the crystal. The crystal was destroyed and freed the Temple Head inside.

Both of them were relieved, as they had saved the Temple Head. But is it just like that? Alice's instincts said otherwise, her heart was a little agitated.

Alice turned around and saw a small hole in front of the statue. The portal? No, but the hole is black. Slowly the hole pulled the small rocks around it. The longer, the suction power of the hole is getting stronger.

"What's going on? Is there a dimensional crack because the portal is unstable and simply destroyed?" Benak Alice's. "This is bad, this place could have been devoured."

"Lilia! Stay away from this place!" He shouted and immediately ran towards Lilia. But, suddenly something held his leg. As he looked down, it turned out that Cliff was gripping his leg with all his might.

Alice kicked him but Cliff still did not let go of his grasp. He did it again and again but when he was released, the suction power of the hole had reached him. Alice was already having trouble moving forward, her body was actually pulled very strongly.

Alice gathered the Qi at her feet and drowned it to the ground, not strong enough, she once again stuck her sword into the ground as a handle.
