The elf warriors fought with all their might to hold back those monsters. The black crystals attached to their bodies looked terrifying. Not about looks but power. Those black crystals made them even stronger. The black energy that enveloped their bodies seemed to exert a great dominance pressure that made some soldiers incapable of twitching when attacked suddenly by the monsters.
"Keep forward. I can feel it, he's right up ahead." Nyx.
Based on Nyx's instructions, Alice jumped from house to house quickly to find the black energy possessor whose strength felt familiar to Nyx.
As the last house before her, Alice stopped and obliterated her presence. He peered a little to see what kind of figure had that energy.
They had arrived at the trading district, where the process of buying and selling the elven kingdom took place. In the middle of the street square was a statue of an elf who was the founder of the kingdom. And to her surprise, the monster Alice was looking for was standing right beside the statue.
"What monster.it...?" Ask Alice. Nyx shook her head.
A monster filled with thorns on every inch of its body with large ears extending to the side like a hand. His body might be as tall as a two-story house but that pair of ears was still longer. Her appearance was creepy enough to make someone's book stand up.
Horrifically. That was Alice's opinion when she saw the shape of the Mons. He narrowed his eyes while holding his breath looking on the figure. This time he encountered such a monster.
Is it possible that the black crystal was also the one that made it like that? Think Alice.
In the middle of the monster's belly was a large mouth with sharp, pointed teeth. His lips moved to chew with disgusting saliva that filled his mouth.
"He doesn't even care about friends or opponents. The monster ate his own partner." Nyx who floated next to Alice.
"Do you want to fight it?" Ask Nyx.
"I want to see the elves do it first. There are still many question marks stored in my heart on this land."
After a few days of living in the elven kingdom. Alice did not just stay in her room. In the dark of the night, Alice occasionally ran over the houses or through small alleys. You could say he had almost visited the entire corner of the kingdom. So even in the morning, Alice gathered a lot of information from some traders as she went to the market to buy something.
"This country has many secrets and is darker than it seems."
A short while later, a platoon of elven warriors came up with complete weapons. His eyes glanced at a blue-haired girl with light steel armor protecting her body.
"Asiya? Turns out he was a soldier, moreover he was a commander."
Asiya gave a warning to the troops he led. Their presence had not been noticed by the monster. The elves with bows immediately jumped on top of the house quietly to surround the monster. Dozens of elves were ready to shoot their arrows. Furthermore, elves with magic abilities began to cast their spells to provide protection and strength to the soldiers that were in front of them.
"A good strategy. Can they beat him?" Nyx muttered slightly.
When the preparation is ready. Asiya ordered the archers to launch their attack. Dozens of arrows layered with fire magic charged towards the monster.
"Yaradr!!" The monster screamed and thrashed in pain.
Asiya's eyes glowed as their attack was successful. He along with the rest of the soldiers wearing swords and spears moved forward to attack the monster.
The soldiers slashed and pierced the monster with their Mana-coated weapons.
A triumphant victory without casualties. They believed that a little more of the monster would be uprooted, but Alice who witnessed the oddity was astonished.
Was the monster with great power that gave off such a terrifying feeling, as easy as this to defeat?
"Something is strange..." Nyx cuddled next to Alice's ear while frowning. He felt the desirability of something strange from the monster. "You feel it too, right? Although he was attacked all out like that but his energy did not decrease, it increased. The monster even looked like it was deliberately allowing itself to be attacked." Further.
"Yes, you're right. I can feel it from here." Alice agreed.
A moment later, Alice's two eyes widened as she looked at the two little lips of the monster smiling sinisterly. "Wine! They're in danger!"
Asiya and his soldiers were unaware of the monster's strange actions. He then wants to use his ultimate style. Asiya cast some spells, making his sword covered in wind and blazing fire. Asiya then slashed straight towards the monster but he fell silent gawking when his attack had no effect. It was as if the huge fire had simply evaporated and disappeared.
Asiya clucked in annoyance. He was thinking of launching the next attack. But unfortunately, his movements and those of his soldiers had been locked in by the strange liquid coming out of the monster.
When they attacked him and thought that it was the black blood of that disgusting monster, they ignored him. Slowly their feet got wet and filled with the liquid.
Chewy and sticky. Their legs were stuck even a sword could not cut through it because of its girth.
Asiya took a quick breath as she watched the monster raise its two large ears to the sky. The feeling is not good.
"Shield!!!" Asiya shouted loudly at the witches behind her.
The monster slammed both of its ears into the ground. A collection of thorns from within the ground just appeared and pierced the trapped soldier. Even their shields were unable to withstand his attacks.
Asiya could not save his comrade. He gulped bitterly at his saliva while staring at the plagues who fell.
Asiya and the monster looked at each other. The little grin from the monster's face really made her angry, Asiya bit her lower lip while clenching both of her hands tightly. The monster had the awareness to think and they had entered in its trap.
Now turn. The monster approached slowly. Asiya looked up, seeing that one ear of the monster had floated above his head. He resigned himself, closed his eyes and thought that this was the day of his death.
Asiya's head was still bowing waiting for the thorny ears of the monster. But he opened his eyes in surprise as the soft voice of a woman approached his ears.
"Are you okay?"
"A-alice?"
While holding the monster's ears with her left hand, Alice then swung her Qi-dense right hand. The monster shouted extremely loudly as he saw one of its ears had been severed. Asiya swallowed his saliva in astonishment. He knew that the human girl named Alice was strong, but he never thought that the monsters they fought with great difficulty were even meaningless in his eyes.
