Helian and Seypherd were speechless looking at Oswald who was thrown and hit the huge pillar with great force.
""Who is he?!""
"Hmmm!" Echidna gave a satisfied snort after beating up the elf man who suddenly appeared before her.
Before, after he separated from Fee. Echidna chose to fly at the height of the sky to see the atmosphere of the Moonshade city. He thought it would be easier to find a palace from above, rather than having to jump over the roof of the house one by one. Echidna had a little trouble determining the direction.
Echidna recalled back in time when being the right-hand man of the demon king Typhoon, she had a reliable advisor who also came from the dragon race just like her. A great woman who is chatty and often makes her head hurt because she often makes protests for every action.
From the sky, Echidna could see the fierce battle of the two camps. "The stupid brass. They're at war with each other." Her speech.
It also crossed his mind that the scene below him was what hyumans often did. His mouth wanted to curse them a little more, but when he was reminded by his mother who also came from the hyuman race, Echidna shook her head. "No, no, no. Mom and the other humans are different. As he saw a magnificent palace, Echidna immediately descended on one of the palace's courtyards. Then he used the soul consciousness technique that Alice had taught him. Echidna released a large amount of Mana that spread throughout the entire area of the palace. He closed his eyes and began to feel the air of life and Mana energy present within the palace environment.
"Most of their Mana numbers are few, maybe they are just ordinary warriors." Mumbled.
He continued to explore the palace area until he finally found a huge Mana wave of three elves.
All three were in a large room within the palace. "They..., is it possible that the Elf Queen is among them? I think I'll check it out first."
Echidna then flew towards the second floor, he then ran down the corridor and passed the intersection to see a large door.
"Front there." He said with a smile. Echidna was finally able to carry out the task her mother had given her if the Queen was really in the room.
Echidna suddenly stopped her steps. He heard the sound of a sword clashing loudly from behind the door. Intrigued, Echidna obliterated her presence and flew and saw what was really going on inside.
"The elves. Then..." Echidna cast her eyes on an elven woman among them. Her clothes looked luxurious and the aura she emitted was different. Echidna understood that there was something domineering about the elven woman.
Echidna slowly opened the window before her. "They were so serious there that they didn't notice my presence." He said as he moved slowly through the window.
From above he enjoyed the spectacle of the two elven knights fighting.
After a long while later, the situation became a little complicated for the elven woman. Echidna decides to intervene and protect the elven woman with her magic.
After he managed to keep the man named Oswald away from them, Echidna began to question the elven woman named Helian. Although he had heard a little of their conversation before, but to be more convincing, he wanted to hear the answer directly from Helian's mouth.
Echidna then walked over to them. Getting closer and Helian felt that she had seen Echidna. But.., a little girl seemed to be with such great power. Helian doubted if they had ever met.
"Because it's my mom's job, I'm glad I found you early. Now with me, I guarantee you'll be safe." Clearly with pride.
Echidna felt strange as Helian constantly glanced at her with curious eyes. "Is there something on my face?" Echidna asked while checking each side of her face.
"Eh, no but.. it seems... Have we met before?"
"No." Clear reply. "But I'm sure maybe what you mean is my mama. People often see us like that." Continue with a cheerful smile.
Echidna was thrilled when she heard people saying she looked like Alice.
"Mama? Who's your mama?" Is he one of his acquaintance's children?
But who?
"Hm? It's weird, if mom hasn't told you yet. My mother is Alice, Alicia Lein Strongfort."
"Well?!" Helian gaped at the little girl's statement. While Seypherd who was standing next to him could only scratch his head for not understanding what they were talking about.
"What are you waiting for, let's get out. I want to take a look at how things are out there." Echidna then walked towards the exit.
The astonishing fact was not that he was happy to get help from someone strong. But because Alice who he had thought was just a young young girl turned out to be a mother.
Helian felt deceived by her appearance.
"Ah, No, it's not that." He realized then immediately followed Echidna followed by Seypherd.
Meanwhile Oswald stared intently from his fingers. His body has gone, his strength has returned.
They just left him behind.
Did after the little girl's arrival, they think they were safe? Her thought.
His chest was full of annoyance. Oswald was unaware that his emotional changes were actually influenced by the black crystals that were fused with him.
"Never show your back to your opponent." Then he shouted and then got up. Since he could not defeat the little girl, Oswald chose to directly finish off Helian. He moved so fast that he left behind a trace of his shadow. "Don't think you're safe and you can just walk away!" Oswald was ready to slash Helian from the side but again the little girl shrewdly moved in his way.
"Lumayan, you can still move like that after receiving one of my punches." Echidna. His tone and speech sounded like an insult in Oswald's ear.
Oswald tightened his sword grip, then swung his sword against Echidna to open a gap so he could jump straight towards the Queen.
Wh why? She was just a little girl but why was she so strong?
Oswald found it difficult to accept the harsh reality of Echidna's agility and power.
"Damn! Don't joke with me! Who are you really?!" Oswald lost patience as all his attacks were easily repelled.
"The monster! Basic Monster! How can a creature like you hold my sword with your bare hands huh!"
Echidna chuckled then grinned. Oswald's attack is nothing compared to his mother's attack. That little sword that belonged to his mama could even tear apart the natural shield that belonged to the extremely sturdy dragon race.
Oswald clenched his teeth. Ever since his body fused with that black crystal and was filled with evil energy, his contract with spirit also ended. As an elf, Oswald could now only rely on his Mana and the physical strength he had just gained.
He fired a black magic bullet, then created two shadows. They split towards Helian. Echidna glanced to the left and to the right, then raised her palm and squeezed it.
Oswald did not expect a hand from the ground to appear and obliterate his two shadows. It was earth element magic.
"Meet." Echidna grinned before Oswald's face. He then raised his fist on Oswald's face.
Oswald was again thrown to the ground. The crystal armor on his body cracked as well as his ribs. Oswald groaned in pain and screamed loudly in his head.
"It's enough to get here. You don't deserve to fight me." Echidna.
Oswald tried to get up, but a pressure wind pushed him against the wall. "Guhaak!" His body is deeply embedded.
His gaze began to blur to see the figure of the little girl. "Is this really the end?"
Oswald smiled slightly. It is unfortunate that he failed to carry out his duties. "Daughter, I failed. Sorry."
Echidna narrowed her eyes, she did not want this to end just like that. He began to raise his hand and point it at Oswald.
Far enough beside him, Seypherd saw the little girl wanted to use magic. He was certain that Oswald's attack would surely meet its end, but Seypherd could not bear to see his comrade end up like that. He ran to Echidna.
"Seypherd!?" Shouted Helian.
"What are you doing? Don't try to get in my way or I'll burn you to ashes."
