Chapter IV Chapter 141

When Alice pulled her sword out, so did the monster.

With darker skin and brownish blonde hair, both eyes are brown. The monster became a beautiful girl who resembled Alice.

Both took the same fighting position.

As they darted and lunged at each other with unsheathed swords, they began to fight each other.

Doppelgangers. That's how they're called. "Heh, at least I can regain my strength after I defeat that woman." Erebos. "I didn't think that the wild wolf was so strong. As long as I live, I never even heard his name. His strength and presence were comparable to a God." Mumbled further.

Sharp metal sounds that struck each other echoed in the room. The Doppelganger monster actually imitated Alice's movements, there were even times when she smiled cynically when Alice's attack was agile.

"Lumayan. I can use you as a reference to find out how far I've progressed." Alice said then she threw a kick and so did the doppelganger. Both take distance. Just as Alice wanted to jump forward, the doppelganger suddenly shot out a slash from a distance.

Alice was almost hit by him. "Fire? Even my magic can be imitated."

Alice furrowed her brows as she turned back and saw the rest of the flames from her slash. He realized, their fight should not last too long or else the doppelganger would burn Yggdrasil out from the inside.

"Because you can emulate my magic, what about this one." Alice also threw out her slash which was in the form of Qi energy. The doppelganger held back Alice's slash with his sword. He was shocked as the wind from Alice's slash made his sword freeze.

Face's upset. "What's wrong? Can't you copy it?" Alice smiled. The question sounds like sarcasm.

Erebos and the doppelganger had no idea what kind of magic Alice was using.

"Whatis that? Isn't that just high-level water element magic?" Erebos asked with a surprised expression.

Nyx grunts happily. "It's not that easy to beat the girl. You you? wanna get it? Conscious Erebos!" The reply sounded proud.

Erebos clenched his teeth. "Not this man, not that wild wolf. They all hide a lot of tricks." Erebos also drained more Mana into his doppelganger.

Alice narrowed her eyes as she felt a huge energy suddenly burst out from her clone. The doppelganger's lips moved. At that moment Alice realized that she was using a magic spell.

[Dragon Breath]

The doppelganger spouted flames from the magic circle in his hand. The burning fire. Alice had no choice but to dodge, otherwise the wall of the tree behind her might catch fire.

Alice opened her sword which was coated with ice Qi. Then he made a slash that formed an ice dragon to swallow that burst of fire.

The Doppelganger then launched its next attack. He quickly made dozens of fire bullets and flew towards Alice. But in one swing, Alice threw out the fire bullet.

[Blazing Sword] [Flame of Naraku] Instantly the doppelganger sword was enveloped by an extremely hot flame. Its originally red color turned black and gave a frightening impression.

"remarkable. I haven't even tried to get to that stage. Did this monster bring out all the potential that might be within me?" Alice muttered in amazement in her mind.

Even if the doppelganger did not have an understanding of Qi energy, it was only with such Mana and magic. Alice was confident that the monster would stand on top of the peak of experts.

Not only was her magic power and swiftness instant, even her close combat ability was comparable to Alice's. These two rare talents being one made it a little difficult to deal with.

The doppelganger clasped tightly onto his sword, with a strong killing intent he dashed towards Alice. On one hand, Alice felt challenged.

Isn't this fight the same as testing himself? For a long time he had not felt a tense sword fight. This time, he and the doppelganger were fighting with raw movements without any special techniques.

Their two sharp metals intersect and produce hot steam. The two opposing elements collided violently.

Alice turned her body in mid-air and then slashed her slash but the doppelganger fended her off and then counterattacked with a strike from the side.

Both of them look good with their movements. They attack each other and avoid each other's attacks.

Nyx and Erebos who saw Alice's second appearance were amazed. Just this time they saw such an amazing sword fight. Their shrewd movements seemed like both of them were dancing, but their attacks were so sharp that they headed for the opponent's weak point that it could kill in the blink of an eye.

"Even the fight of the Gods is not this interesting." Erebos Mumbles. Nyx agreed.

That human girl, Alice. He kept so many secrets inside of him. Thought Nyx.

"If this continues, this place will be slowly destroyed." Benak Alice's.

How not, the great pressure from their fight was really strong. Especially with hot steam that might damage the inside of Yggdrasil.

Alice pushed herself backwards with a kick on the doppelganger sword.

"With this distance it seems to be enough." Her thought.

He drew back his sword. Then stand firm and put his sword parallel to his chest.

After all, the doppelganger could not replicate this technique. Since she was within the Yggdrasil tree, Alice did not plan to make any major moves. "With this one sword move, I will end our fight."

Alice quickly condensed Qi on her sword.

The doppelganger was suspicious when he sensed the pressure of the energy Alice was expelling. He immediately shot out a fire arrow as he dashed towards her with a burning sword of his black flame.

His expression panicked and worried as his fire arrow disappeared instantly as it approached Alice.

[Deep Freeze Abyss]

As the doppelganger got closer to the tip of his drawn sword towards Alice, it suddenly stopped moving. Erebos, who was aware of the power Alice was about to unleash, immediately put up a protective guard to keep her from being hit.

The doppelganger instantly froze, then slashed into tiny pieces. Her body made from a collection of Mana had no chance of fusing because of Alice's ice.

"Sad. I didn't expect him to have so much power." Erebos was a little upset because he did not expect that his creation could be defeated by Alice.

After defeating the doppelganger, Alice destroys the plastid egg on the ceiling.

He smiled as he turned around and saw that the elven woman's energy was no longer being absorbed out.

Alice walked over to the elf woman with the intention of freeing her body. As he pulled the woman's arm, Erebos grinned with a satisfied face.

Alice was unaware of the trap Erebos had planted on the elf woman.
