Gorgeous Jewel

Gorgeous Jewel
Chapter II Chapter 54

After going undercover, Alice came out of her room and walked towards the secret room. As much as possible he was just ordinary and suppressed his existence so as not to attract attention or no one noticed his movements.

Alice passed the stairs to the second floor, she stopped right when she saw the view of one of the priests pointing towards her. Suppressing the air of his existence does not mean he will be transparent and invisible. After making sure the priest on the second floor turned away, from the side of the stairs Alice immediately ran forward and stuck to the wall. In front of him, the corridor was divided into three, but he knew that the room was on the left. Alice glanced from the corner of her eyes to the right where she heard the sound of someone opening the door. Alice looked to the left to make sure there was no one and when she was sure, Alice immediately caught up with the person who entered the room.

No one knows what he did to that man. But it didn't take long, Alice came out with cleaning equipment.

With this, I'll be easier to enter that room. Her thought.

While lowering her head, Alice walked carrying the cleaning equipment in both hands and towards the room.

When he reached the door of the room, a man held him from afar.

"Wait on! You, stop there!" The man approached her from behind. "You, I'm off guard because of the pleasure" she said. Alice tried to calm herself down, then turned to the man and asked. "Sorry, can I help you?" Luckily, there was a head covering that protected his face.

"Hmmm..."The man thought for a moment by putting his fist under his chin. The man watched Alice closely from top to bottom. "Try to lift your face." Exclaims.

Alice clasped tightly onto the bucket in her left hand. "Knowledge? Will he realize it?"

Alice slowly raised her head and showed her face to the man. He looked carefully at the pair of eyes that looked like he was watching. Alice was ready if she had to be caught, so she could not avoid violence and get rid of eyewitnesses.

The man did not remember the girl in front of him at all but, when he took a good look at Alice's robe, he did, he found a symbol on his arm that indicated that the girl in front of him was still in training.

"Maybe it's still in training." The man muttered. "Yes, you can go." He continued to nod and turn around to leave Alice just like that.

Alice breathed a sigh of relief. "What did I think." Alice opened the door in front of her. He saw shelves of cabinets with some books and rolls of paper. Alice was eager to see it, there might be useful clues in it but since she didn't have much time, Alice simply passed by.

"If it's not wrong, it's around." Alice fumbled at the wall at the end of the room. He felt the air of life from behind that wall but where was the trigger to open it? Of course if he wanted to destroy that wall, then for him it was very easy but his voice must have been big enough to attract the priests who were standing guard in the middle of a silent night.

Alice tapped on the wall while sticking one of her ears. "Hmm.echo his voice..." His eyes were straight looking at the cupboard near the wall.

The shelves in the closet have fewer books than others and if he looks carefully, the book is irregular as if it was deliberately not neatened.

Alice glanced at every book on the shelf, she shrugged her shoulders and tried to tidy it up hoping that her guess was correct. Alice started compiling the books on the first shelf well. Nothing happened at first but when he put the book in the last crack, something rang out from inside the closet. Alice was silent for a moment, she glanced at the wall beside her but nothing happened.

Alice returned to tidying up the second shelf and so on. The more he put the books on each shelf, it will sound like the sound of a button being pressed. Either it's at the beginning of the line or at the time in the middle. Alice is getting more and more understanding of how it works.

When she arrived at the last shelf, Alice lost one book. Alice turned around and looked for books that might be on the surrounding floor. But he found nothing. "Do I have to take it off the other shelf." His guess.

Out of curiosity Alice lowered her head and looked into that last empty gap. "Oh yeah, it looks like that."

After finishing the puzzle, he somehow felt a little happy, both sides of his mouth even raised a little. As if there is a sense of satisfaction.

Alice enters the room, a staircase descending with a magic lamp attached to her wall leading her steps until she reaches the secret place of the Temple.

Alice looked at the room that was no less spacious than the Hall that was on the top floor. The place was almost as bright as the magic lights hanging on the roof.

"It's gonna be a little harder." His murmur narrowed both his eyes as he looked at the bishop and paladin who were pacing around the place.

Alice looked at the ceiling, she glanced at every spot that allowed her to avoid the lighting and visibility of the guards.

As she sharpened her senses, Alice jumped towards the closet which looked taller than the other objects. Alice monitored and memorized the movements of every guard around her.

"Two people upstairs on each side, three people close to him and two others.just far between the table in front of him." He said after finding the path he had to take.

After the guard below him moved away and the guard on the top floor turned around. Alice came down from the closet. He walks with his head down and occasionally runs small.

Repeating the same movement, Alice finally escaped their guard. He then walked towards the poorly lit corridor where he sensed Lilia was inside.

Once again, Alice saw a guard not far from the door she was about to turn to. However, because the room was so quiet and far away from the other guards. With [Shadow Step ] Alice had been beside the man and crippled him before he could react.

Alice looked back to confirm the situation. Feeling safe, Alice dragged the man's body into a corner and took his clothes. A little guilt ran through his heart. He feels like a criminal for disarming two people tonight.

With the paladin uniform covered by light steel on her chest and bottom and equipped with an iron helmet, Alice turned the doorknob in front of her. "This outfit is a little big" he protested at the shirt he was wearing.

He was shocked when the door opened and saw the sad sight of his best friend. I don't know how many days he's been in that room. Iron bars that lock him like a bird, plus iron chains that also limit the movement of his hands. "Know this, why don't I just kill them all." Resentfully

Lilia raised her downcast head, she saw the paladin walking over to her. He felt astonished when the paladin was silent before him and just stared at him. The look in his eyes did not emit any anger or hatred. "What's wrong?" Lilia asked as the paladin in front of her had looked at her for quite a while.

The paladin did not reply, he suddenly drew his sword which was on his waist.

"What do you want to do?" Lilia was a little afraid of that strange person in front of her. He said nothing at all, looked at him flatly and suddenly drew out his sword.

Thinking that the paladin had come to kill him, Lilia let out a sigh, she lowered her head, exposed the back of her neck and seemed ready to face her death.

"Alice, it looks like we can't see each other again." His mind then closed his eyes.
