[Season 2] Chapter 18: The Ruler Of All
"So, that's ...." Zett ends the story. "That's the story of my past."
"Oh, yeah." Yamamura nodded his head.
"Remember, Izanagi. A beautiful world that seems perfect is not always suitable for you. When the time comes, you will realize that the world is not your place to go home. Don't waste your youth drowning yourself in a virtual world and neglecting your future. Find your true purpose in life. You're younger than me. Your future is long. So, I remind you from now on so you don't fall into the wrong path."
"All right," Yamamura said. "I'll always remember that, Zett-san."
"Good." Zett held up his thumb while smilingly showing off his teeth.
"Eh? Wait for. What time is it?" ask Zett.
"Look at the menu."
"Nature!!!" Zett was immediately aghast as soon as he opened the menu and saw the numbers on the clock bar. "My shift is about to begin!!"
"Then see you tomorrow" Yamamura said. "You're not busy, are you?"
"Of course not. I'll log in again tomorrow." Zett stood up, ready to press the log out button. "Then, see you."
"Eh, wait!!" Yamamura began to notice something strange about Zett's virtual body structure. The demon youth's body seemed to be filled with signs of error. "Why is your avatar like that?"
"uh? Bug, maybe?" Zett stared at his avatar's body. Confusion began to run down his face.
"No. .., I don't think so ...." Yamamura spread his gaze around. Other players seem to be confused because of the same thing. "Other players have experienced it too!!"
"But, strange ...," said Zett. "Why is it that only your avatar isn't affected by the bug?"
"I don't know either."
Suddenly, the avatar of the entire player disappeared, like hologram screens were turned off at once.
"Zit!!" Yamamura. "What'sthis? Force logout's? But, why am I the only one not forced out of the game?"
"Because this game was made for you." A loud female voice rang out from the sky, echoing in all directions.
"Who?!" Yamamura. "Who are you?! Show yourself, coward!!! Don't tell me you're gonna set me up like in that classic!!"
"Just calm. This game is not designed for survival or death games. I just intend to keep you in this world."
"Free." The voice interrupts. “I did have the BeltSphere Diver developer design the virtual-reality device so that it is not too dangerous, but I also told him to add a secret feature where all electrical signals to your brain will be blocked, and that feature I'm activating right now."
"The secret feature will also bring up electric current in your virtual gear, both in the Sphere Part and Choker Neklace parts so that others in the real world can not touch the device. That way, no one will be able to remove the BeltSphere Diver from your body."
"You .... NO KIDDING!!!" Yamamura's anger began to peak. "Why did you set me up here?! What's your plan, huh?! Say it!!! Why am I the only one you're trapping?!"
"Because it is you who will rule this world and bring about peace. You are the one who will create a world without death and suffering. You're the one who's gonna be The Ruler of All."
"Huh? Whatchu mean?! I don't understand."
"It seems you still don't remember anything, yeah ...."
"What do you mean 'do not remember'? Have we ever met? But, I don't know you!!"
"One day, your questions will be answered. I think the information I gave you is enough for now. See you next time, My Lord."
"Hey!!! Heey!!!"
Silent. That voice is no longer heard. Only the chirping of birds, the blowing of the wind, the whirling of river water, and the sounds of deer were heard.
"Damn!!" Yamamura kicked the grass hard in annoyance. "Actually, what is he planning?!"
A few seconds later, the young man realized something different than before. The HP Bar, MP Bar, and the other buttons and bars had already disappeared from his sight. Only the map, inventory, and alchemist skill features are still in place.
"He-Hey!! Don't tell me that ...."
"This world ... real ...?!"

Chapter 18 marks the end of the Welcome to Neironius Online arc and the beginning of the Magic of Christmas arc. The arc is already in my mind, just complete. The climax of the arc will be published at Christmas :3
