"The Christmas days of my childhood were always filled with wonder. It was like entering into a fairy tale. But ..., that Christmas miracle can't last forever."
"As time went on, I continued to grow up and the magic of Christmas began to turn into a Christmas curse."
The all-white scenery was replaced by a scene where a grizzled middle-aged man was kneeling while pleading with another man with a rogue face in the courtyard of the inn lined with snow. The caretakers begged, but the man continued to harden his heart.
"This ...." Yamamura looked around. "Winter season? What date is this?"
"Christmas Day, a year after I met Santa for the last time" said Rudolf.
"last? What's that supposed?" ask Yamamura.
There's no answer. Only the voice of the middle-aged man's plea could be heard. Looks like the old man is the owner of this orphanage.
"Please, Sir!! Don't close this parlor!! What about the children's future here?"
"I don't care!!! If you don't want to risk this parlor, then why do you owe me so much?!"
"Our money is running low, while the needs of the children of the home are growing. Please, sir."
"Why don't you just throw away those useless kids?! They had no future from the beginning!!!"
"How could I have done such a cruel thing, sir."
"That's it!! Don't use a lot of drama anymore!! I will close this place!!! This land is now mine!!!"
After throwing the last clash, the man stepped out of the courtyard, leaving the caretakers and the owner of the parlor sitting desperately in the snow.
(Note: For those who do not know, leeches are people or entities whose business is to lend funds to other people or entities by charging very high interest. The granting of this loan is usually done by exploiting the weaknesses or difficulties of life of the borrower. A loan shark often threatens not even hesitate to take the property of the borrower in case of late payment.

"The owner has tried his hardest to pay off the debt, but fate says something else. In the end, no one could save the orphanage from the greed of the leech. That night, the orphanage that was where I grew up, where I first interacted, and the place where I got happiness .. was closed and leveled."
"If this is in the movie, it might be a miracle and the owner of the parlor suddenly gets a lot of money, either the reward for his honesty for returning the wallet of a rich man who fell on the streets or a loan from his good friend. Then the owner paid off his debt and the orphanage was saved. But .., it's all too good to happen in reality .... The parlour was completely flattened for good and will be replaced with a new building."
"All my happiness .., all the memories I've carved .., and all the relationships I've made, are all gone in just one night. I got separated from my pant mates and we lost our place."
"For a little over a year, I lived my life hard on the streets. But I kept fighting for life. I still don't want to give up. I don't want to be a beggar while my body condition still allows me to work. I work with all my might. And I made it ...."
"I was adopted into a child by a good married couple and managed to restore my former happiness. I went back to school and made friends with many people. Of course I haven't forgotten about Santa either. I keep waiting for him to come every Christmas night. Unlike my friends at the parlour back then, my foster parents never laughed at my activities."
"But .., since the parlour was closed, Santa never came again."
"Despite that, I kept waiting tirelessly. I keep working hard. I strive to achieve in school, both in academics and in sports. I keep making friends with a lot of people. I keep fighting in my life to the fullest so that I can make Santa proud of my achievements when we can meet again later. I want to make her happy. I still believe in Santa. I still believe in the magic of Christmas. Maybe to others this is ridiculous, but I don't care."
"Year by year passed. I'm now in High School. However, my mindset is still the same as before. I still think Santa really exists. I still wait for him every time Christmas Eve comes."
