"Yamato Otomura? What a good name." Yuukaru crouched down, equalizing his height with the young man sitting on the grass. The girl sat across from him, separated only by a bonfire. Then he extended his hand. "Greetings."
"Keep that hand away, you fool." The golden-haired young man who turned out to be named Otomura patted Yuukaru's hand violently. "I know, you're the AI that the damn developers put in charge of pretending to be fellow test takers and stabbing me in the back, right?! They're planning on putting me to death, right?!"
"No. I'm not an AI. I am a human being," Yuukaru said.
"Shut up!! I will never trust you nor trust anyone, neither in this virtual world nor the real world!! I've lived a very bad life, and now those damn cops are keeping me in this virtual world!! Actually, what are they planning?!"

"Current, bullshit." Otomura turned his face away. "You're too naive, you idiot."

Otomura closed his eyes. Memories from the past began to gather in his mind. A beautiful and sweet memory. The times in which his heart was still not tainted by darkness.
