"So ..., what is the purpose of your coming here?" ask Ryugai with a face that still looks flat and dark while sitting on a park bench located in the backyard of the house. He seemed indifferent to the fresh morning air, the birds chirping, and the clear blue sky. All that natural beauty could not brighten his heart that was already engulfed in despair.
"Hey, hey. Don't be so cold, dong," said Otomura. His old friend sat down next to him. "At least show a friendly attitude to guests. Like smiling or saying welcome ...."
"Sorry, yes, Otomura. But ..., right now my mood is not allowing me to do that" Ryugai said. "You better not waste your time here. There's still a script you need to finish, right? You'll have to spray your editor again."
"Just calm. My script is done. Today, I have a lot of free time," Otomura said with a smile.
"Then enjoy your vacation. Don't throw away your precious holiday."
"Speak what, the hell, you're this? I don't consider my time wasted visiting your house at all."
"I know, Otomura." Ryugai turned his head towards the golden-haired man. His eyes suddenly sharpened. "You came here to comfort me, didn't you? Do not do anything in vain. Just so you know, your pity is the biggest insult to me."
"Stupid. What other nonsense are you talking about?! I didn't come here out of pity, but because I was-"
"'your friends'. Yeah, right?" cut Ryugai. "For that I thank you. But stop doing what is in vain. You won't be able to comfort me, and no one will."
"Don't you ever say, no matter how many times we fall and as hard as any obstacle we have to face in the future, we have to keep getting back up, going forward, and facing it? You were the one who said that when you convinced me to go back to the real world during the Purity Online beta test, right?! Have you forgotten?!"
"G .... I used to say silly naive things like that, yeah .... But, it's the past. The past is full of lies and false hopes."
"Don't tell me you want to go back to your old way of life? You want to live your life like before you met me and Yuukaru? You want to live in the dark again?!"
"Yes ..," said Ryugai. "Living in the darkness of reality is better than living in the light of lies. Sooner or later, the dark truth will be revealed, and the lies will never shine again. That's what happened to me."
"'Hope' is not a lie, Ryugai!!" Otomura.
"Then can you prove that it wasn't a lie?" ask Ryugai. "For me, what is happening now and everything that has happened in my life alone is enough to prove that hope is a lie."
"I should never have wished. The sickly lies that drew me to enjoy the light and then threw me back into the darkness. Rather than give me false light, all that damn reality should not give me light and let me live in the deep darkness."
"Realita seems to be playing tricks on me. Give me happiness, then take it from me, then give it happiness again and take it away from me again. I'm a toy, what?!" Ryugai's tone of voice began to rise, signaling that emotions had filled him.
"And ... You told me to believe in that damn destiny? No kidding!! I think I want to kill him. If only he had a physical body ...."
Both of Ryugai's palms were clenched tightly. Anger and disappointment had completely taken hold of his heart. He lowered his head until his face was hidden behind a shadow.
"Region ...."
Othomura lowered his head. He knew exactly what his old friend was feeling right now. Because he could also get to this point not without a struggle, but rather through a struggle that drained sweat and sacrificed many tears.
"Region ...."
"You've become like ourselves in the past ...."
"What ... should I do?"
"It seems impossible .. to encourage you when your condition is like this."
"But, still ...."
"I have to do something ...."
"It doesn't matter whether it will work to help you feel better or not ...."
Suddenly, something flashed through Otomura's mind. The man raised his head and looked towards Ryugai who was sitting down while bowing his head beside him. A smile was etched on his lips.
"Hey, Ryugai. I disagree with everything you said just now. All your words are wrong."
"Oh?" Ryugai said as he raised his head. His eyes still looked uninspired. "Then do you have any evidence?"
"I wouldn't say that if I didn't have proof, you idiot." Otomura.
"Of course ... I .. have the proof ...."
To be continued

By the way, the author would like to welcome you to April!! The month in which spring takes place (although in Indo ga there is spring, anyway), the month in which Yamamura has a birthday, as well as a special month for the people of vvibu ..., the month where Kaori first met Arima Kousei. Unfortunately now he's dead :") Uh, by the way. It's the subject of the anime:v

The author would also like to thank you for all the support you have given so far. Although lately this novel is a bit quiet, anyway. Perhaps because**main conflict has not started yet. Wkwkwk.**
