Day 62: The Power!! The Punisher of Azadrasil (Part 8)
"Everything, form the formation of UU!!" ryugai's orders to his troops. "Hurry!!!"
"Well, Ryugai-sama!!"
After answering the sign, all the soldiers, both the army and the air, immediately marched into a semicircular formation similar to the letter U, surrounding the giant tree named Azadrasil. One formation below and one above. They hurried to put a gunpowder arrow on the bowstring, then pulled the bow and released the arrow.
The arrows hit Azadrasil with a bang. The successive explosions merged into a huge explosion, emitting a fierce energy wave and a strong wind that made all the monster soldiers as well as humans flung backwards for several meters. Only Greed managed to maintain his standing.
"W-Did they die?!" Ryugai looked seriously at the thick black smoke haze. Slowly, the smoke cleared. Azadrasil still stood firmly in his place, as well as Greed who had now changed his form into a giant dragon snake to protect his army.
"It's impossible!!!" Ryugai was aghast once he saw that Azadrasil, Greed, as well as the army of the 99 monster races were not injured in the slightest. "It's impossible!!!"
"Now, it's our turn to avenge your gunpowder attack." Greed smiled cunningly. "You can't use magic because of the anti-magic barrier installed by Skull Captain on my side, right? Then you can't ...."
"Counter this attack!!"
Greed flicked his finger once more. His evil smile widened. He now looks like a psychopath. The fruits of the Azadrasil tree began to break away from its stalk, then shot lightning-fast towards the Ryugai army. "Prepare to explode, people ...."
Cold sweat flooded Ryugai's body. He bit his lips. Angry, afraid, panicked, everything was mixed in his heart.
"Damn it, had the anti-magic barrier not been installed, I would have been able to absorb all the mines using the inventory dimension hole."
"Wait, wait. I guess the result will be the same even if I use inventory magic. When I opened it for a counterattack, it could be time to go back and the pot exploded prematurely. It's the same as a suicide bomb."
Ryugai clenched both his hands tightly. "Let'soooooooo!!!" it's in the heart.
*clash!!* *clash!!* *clash!!*
Ryugai. A phoenix quickly appeared and deflected the fruit mines as easily as a goalkeeper fending off a soccer ball. A gigantic black dragon also appeared, then circled the remaining balls and pinned them down until it finally exploded. Thanks to that, the human troops were not affected by the explosion.
"Damn!! Who else is in my way?!!" Greed spouted out his anger, then again told Azadrasil to throw the fruits. "Azadrasil!! Throw again!!!"
Azadrasil threw the mines once more. This time, it was the turn of the six mysterious giant hands that out of nowhere had come that fended them off. The bombs eventually exploded in the sea.
The phoenix, the dragon, and the owner of the giant hands rushed to Ryugai's army. They seem to be familiar figures.
"Hey, you still have to live" said the phoenix rider.
"Yes, young man," the owner of the giant hand. A bald man with a stocky body.
"If you die, your girlfriend will cry for you." The dragon rider also chimed in.
Ryugai's eyes widened once again as he saw the faces of the three people.
"Arai? The genbu? And ... Deputy Army Chief Dai?!"
