Day 62: Final Fight Part 1 (Part 11)
"Damn!!" arai cursed while protecting himself from the laser emitted by one of Azadrasil's twigs using a reddish-colored energy shield. "You're really troublesome, big tree!!"
"Uakhs!!"
Because of his carelessness, Genbu and the black dragon were giant hit by an explosion from one of the mines and bounced backwards. He held his injured right shoulder.
"You're strong enough too, giant tree!!" He smiled excitedly.
"Hey, Genbu!" call Ryugai while waving his hand. "He said the Skull Captain has put up an anti-magic barrier, then why are you still able to use magic?"
"Because we brought an anti-magic barrier intruder." Genbu replied with a slight shout so that his voice was not inferior to the noise of the fight. He pulled out a button-draped device and threw it at Ryugai.
"Thank you" Ryugai said as he grabbed the device and pressed the button.
"Next, my turn!! Inukai!!"
Right after being summoned, the pet giant dragonfly Ryugai instantly appeared next to him. Ryugai rushed up to him. The dragonfly took off immediately. A smile was engraved on Ryugai's face and a dark murderous aura enveloped the surrounding air.
"After all, I'm still a murderer!!"
"There is only one difference, which is that I will use it to protect the path of light!!"
"It's the first time I've used this ability for such a good thing, huh?" Ryugai laughed softly.
"Hey, we can't let them use magic!!!" The Skull Captain prepared his fighting horses, followed by the entire monster warriors. However, strangely their magic could not come out.
"Did? Why?" Confusion immediately approached the army of 99 monster races.
"You think only you can manufacture anti-magic barrier techniques, huh?"
The voice made all the soldiers immediately turn to the source of the voice. A bald man was hovering, flying without wings, approaching the position of the Captain. Yes, he is the Deputy Chief of the Dai Fist Army.
"Yes" said Dai with a flat face.
"Don't disturb. It's a fight between us and Azadrasil" he continued before taking off again, flying towards where Azadrasil was.
"Damn it!!!"
Irritated, the captain kicked the sand on the beach. His teeth were grinding violently, indicating that anger was taking over his body.
"Now, what am I supposed to do?!"
"Our only hope .. only Azadrasil, Captain." The Vice Captain chimed in. "After all, it seems like the giant tree is quite strong. So, you take it easy, Captain."
Realizing that a human was approaching him, Azadrasil rushed to emit a dense black laser beam from all its branches, as well as releasing colorful pine fruits from their stalks.
Dai smiled excitedly. His eyes were burning with flames. Quickly, he hit and kicked all the mines until they were thrown and exploded in various directions, then he avoided all laser beams.
Subsequently, Azadrasil emits lasers at Ryugai, Genbu, and Arai who are recovering their wounds. Quickly, Dai cut off one of the large tree's many dried twigs, then used them to protect himself, Ryugai, Arai, and Genbu from the laser.
"Hey! How's he doing?" Dai turned his head while throwing the dried giant twig down.
"Oh, Deputy Chief Dai!! That means ... Greed's been defeated, huh? This was a ray of hope for the human race!!" Arai smiled cheerfully. "Ah .., but your left arm ...."
"Ah, this?" Dai said as he looked at the place where his left arm should be. "Forget it. It's nothing. Greed I beat. What matters now is the situation here."
"The giant tree is very strong. Although we, the army, and the air force forces continued to attack him relentlessly, the scratches we caused instantly disappeared without a trace in less than two seconds. Sulfuric acid and gunpowder explosions did not work either" Ryugai said with a face that looked almost desperate.
"Then, there's only one way" Dai said. "I'll use Forbidden Magic."
