Day 62: The Promised Dragon Toy - A Letter From Heaven Part 1 (Part 15)
"Everything ... is over, huh?"
Along with the disappearance of the golden light, a sign of life in both eyes of Azadrasil, the rain stopped. It was as if the weather had stopped her crying and smilingly accepted the circumstances. The orange color began to leave the sky, replaced by night darkness. The moon rose and began to light up the deep blue sky accompanied by the glittering stars. The sound of waves rang out. The atmosphere was so peaceful that Ryugai closed his eyes without him noticing and smiled.
Ryugai rushed to land on the shore and jumped down from the phoenix's back. Suddenly, the sound of cracks sounded faintly from around. Ryugai. He immediately opened his eyes again. "Let's forget about the war." Ryugai opened the conversation. "Since the conflict between the human race and the monster race is over, how about we form an alliance?"
"Cooperate is better than keep fighting. Maybe it will make this world a beautiful world like heaven. Hows it? Do you agree? If you don't agree, we can fight again" Ryugai joked with a mischievous smile.
Skull Captain chuckles amusedly. "Of course I'm so-"
Suddenly, a friendly smile vanished from the Skull Captain's face. He raised his head, looking up at the sky with a panicked face. "What is that?!"
Ryugai and all the soldiers raised their heads. A silhouette of a dragon with wings flapping slowly flashed across the night sky, towards the place where Ryugai's army was located.
"Hey, we just made a peace treaty and you betrayed me right away?!" Ryugai stared seriously at the Skull Captain.
"Bu-No!!!" sahut the captain. "Things like this are not in our plans!!"
"Tu-Wait!!!"** Ryugai watched the dragon closely. "The size looks much smaller than a real dragon!! If it was a real dragon, its silhouette should be getting bigger every second!! But, this silhouette was of fixed size. Means ...."
The original form of the silhouette was finally clearly visible because the distance with Ryugai was already very close. Apparently not a real dragon, but a toy dragon. The toy lands on Ryugai's palm. A piece of paper appeared to be stuck in his mouth.
"Battery-powered dragon toy, 'is it? How strange. It should be in the primitive era like this no one has created this sophisticated toy. Or maybe this toy is a game developer gift? This is the game world. Everything is controlled by the system. Eh? Just wait!! This toy ...."
