Day 62: Final Fight Part 2 (Part 12)
"I'll use Forbidden Magic!!"
"DID?!!" Instantly the three young men before him were aghast.
"A-You're serious?!" exciting Arai. "Are you serious, Deputy Chief?!"
"Yes" said Dai. "There's no other choice."
"But, that means you'll lose your right arm too!!" timpal Ryugai's.
"No problem" said Dai. "As long as it's for our village."
Seeing Dai who was very firm in his stance, the three young men gave up, then stepped back to the back, while Dai straightened his remaining arm forward. He opened his right palm wide.
"The Ultimate Regeneration Magic!! The Sacrifice Right Hand!!!"
In an instant, Dai's right arm shattered into pitch-black pieces and blood flowed profusely from his sleeve. Dai let out a loud groan that seemed somewhat held back, then slightly bowed his body. Blood flowed from his sleeve.
"Vice Chief Dai!!"
"I'm fine," Dai said as he returned to his upright standing position. "It's nothing. Now, Ryugai, please attack him again."
"Well," Ryugai said as he darted his way up the Inukai towards Azadrasil, then scratched it many times at lightning speed using a twin giant knife mounted on the body of his giant dragonfly.
One second passed. The scars on the trunk of the giant tree vanished without a trace. Ryugai, Arai, Genbu, Dai, and the army of the human race were all aghast.
"Ti-Not working?!"
"Damn it!!" Irritated, Ryugai put a gunpowder arrow in his bow, then shot Azadrasil repeatedly. However, the Tree remained unmoved.
Noticing Ryugai's negligence being emotionally burned, Azadrasil immediately extended his twig as fast as lightning and stabbed one of Inukai's wings. The giant dragonfly screamed in pain, then whipped. Ryugai fell freely in the air. The bow slipped out of his hand. Azadrasil then extended his arm once more and attempted to stab Ryugai in the chest.
"Yeahah!!!"
"Shygai!!!"
"Strategy Commander!!!"
“Sial, now no one can save me!!!” Ryugai cursed inside.
The giant twig was getting closer to Ryugai. It appeared that the monster army was smiling triumphantly and Skull Captain and his representative were grinning savagely. Ryugai closed both his eyes.
“If I die here, will I die in the real world, yes?”
Suddenly, there were two loud objects clashing. Ryugai hurriedly opened his two eyes. Right before him, a bald man with no arms was hovering with an upright body while holding the black energy shield before him from being crushed. A grin was passionately engraved on the man's face.
“Wa-Vice Head Dai?”
“Hei,” he said while looking back. “You're off guard, stupid. How can we win if the Strategy Commander is like this?”
Despite trying to hold the shield was not destroyed, apparently the black energy shield was not strong enough to hold the sharp twigs belonging to Azadrasil. The energy shield also broke. The sound of flesh being torn was heard afterwards. Blood flowed profusely, drenching Vice Head Dai's back that was torn apart. Ryugai was surprised.
“Deputy Head Dai!!”
