Day 62: Starry Night Memory (Part 19)
Amidst the excitement, suddenly a glimmer of light appeared from the darkness of the night in the forest towards the back of the cliff, followed by other points of light. Human silhouettes began to appear as the dots of light approached, the longer it became clearer. The figures were accompanied by silhouettes of animals flying in the air. The original form of the lights turned out to be a torch clasped in the hands of the soldiers of the human race.
As soon as they met the cliff light, the black color vanished from their silhouettes. Their true form now seemed very clear. Armoured and helmeted warriors led by Ryugai, Arai, and Genbu wield torches on the front lines. Smiles were etched on their faces. Some were wounded, some were half of their armor destroyed, some were broken, some were disheveled, but all were smiling with great joy. The typical appearance of a group of soldiers who had just won a war.
"Yoo!!" Ryugai waved his hand followed by the other soldiers. "We're home!!!"
The refugees cheered once again. The soldiers split up. Those who had a love affair and a family with one of the soldiers immediately ran cheerfully and hugged their relatives or life partner.
"Yes, Ryugai!!" Otomura waved his hand as he stepped closer to Ryugai. Yuukaru and Grandpa Yurato tailed behind him. "You're home, huh?"
"Great you, can defeat the boss of the enemy forces alone. Ho ho ho." Grandpa Yurato chimed in while laughing like a santa-clas.
Yuukaru approached Ryugai. A sweet smile was drawn on her pretty face. The night breeze blew away the strands of her golden hair, making Ryugai's face instantly blush like an octopus. Yuukaru placed his hand on Ryugai's shoulder, then looked at the young man gently.

"AAAAAWWWW!!!" Ryugai fell to the ground, clutching his recently punched face, while Yuukaru stroked his clenched hand.
"STUPID!!! WHY ARE YOU PUNCHING ME?! I JUST CAME HOME INSTEAD OF BEING WELCOMED!!!" ryugai gushed furiously, while Grandpa Yurato and Otomura laughed out loud while holding their bellies.
"Hehe." Yuukaru smilingly bared his teeth, then lightning-fastly locked Ryugai from behind and put a fist on his neck.

"ADUUDUDUDUDUDUDUDUDUDUDUDUDUDUDUDUDUDUDUDUDUUUUUUHHHH!!! ADAAAAAWWWW!!! WHOA!!! WHAT THE FUCK?! JUST COME HOME DIRECTLY AT-ADADADADADADAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!! YES, YES!!! OHHHH!!! RELEASE IT, SICK OF TOFU!!! YOU ARE TRULY A GIRL WHO-ADADADADADADAAAAAWWWWWWW!!! OUUUUHHHH!!! WHOA!!! WHAT THE HELL?! WHAT WRONG?! YOU'RE THIS-AAAAAAAWWWW!!!"
"You went to the battlefield without permission, without saying goodbye, without telling me. You're worrying me half dead. IT'S YOUR FAULT!!!" yuukaru exclaimed while engraving a psychopathic smile on his face.
A murderous aura filled the air around. The girl pressed her fist deeper into Ryugai's neck, making the young man again scream in pain with a loud voice, even to the point of driving away the night animals. A swarm of bats and owls flew out of their nest, crossing the dark blue sky. The loud screams also attracted the attention of refugees and soldiers. Those who had embraced happily now looked at Ryugai and Yuukaru while tilting their heads in confusion.
"YYYYYY!!! YES, YES!!! I'M SORRY!!! AAAAAAA!!! DON'T BE RUDE DONG, BE A GIRL!!! L-AAAAAGGGHHHHH!!! YES, YES!!! AMPUUUUUNN!!! AMPUUUUUUNNN!!! I'LL SHAKE YOUR HAND LATER, YEAH!!"

"Hgm." Yuukaru exhaled in annoyance, then released the clasps of his fist from Ryugai's neck. The blue-haired youth was now finally able to breathe with relief. Sweat completely flooded his body.
"This time I forgive you, but next time not anymore. Take that, fool." Yuukaru turned his body around like a sulking child.
"It's so rough, anyway ...." Ryugai stroked his neck which was still throbbing.

"Shut up!!" ryugai exclaimed with ruffles. "After all, who would want to date a magician like him?!"

Ryugai gulped his saliva and shuddered in horror as he felt an extremely dark murderous aura from the direction of Yuukaru's body. Instantly, the girl again locked her body and pressed her fist against Ryugai's neck.
"ADADADADADA!!! AYE!!! Cu- Eh?"
Ryugai. He opened his eyes when he felt soft touches touch his face. Yuukaru's delicate and wiggly fingers were touching Ryugai's face, making his face red.
"Thank you for coming home safe, Ryugai." Yuukaru said with a sweet smile drawn on his face.
Ryugai was stunned because of that smile. His face could not move. With great difficulty, he moved his mouth to utter speech.

"Wah ..., the stomach is full ...." Ryugai entered his room while groping his stomach. He had just finished eating dinner cooked by Yuukaru using the food supply.
"The war is over too. Now I can sleep peacefully. It's almost midnight anyway." The young man stared at the clock hanging on the wall of his room and showed it at 23:45.
Ryugai rushed to turn off the magic lights in his room, then coiled under his warm blanket. Although his body was ready to enter dreamland, his eyes did not want to be closed and continued to look at the dim ceiling because it was illuminated by the moonlight.

Curious, Ryugai went out of his room and into the backyard without being noticed by Grandpa Yurato and Otomura who had first fallen asleep.
“Yo,” greet Ryugai. “What are you doing these nights?” tanyanya while sitting next to Yuukaru.
“Oh, Ryugai. Good night.” Yuukaru smiled kindly. “I only remember the memories when I first met with Kak Otomura,”.
“That time is the same as tonight. A half moon with stars adorned the sky. The star is not too much, but enough to pamper my heart.”
“By the way, Ryugai, you are not from this virtual world, ‘kan?”
“Ta-Know where?!” Ryugai's eyes widened. He's aghast. “How can an NPC know that?!”
“No manners!” Yuukaru puffed his cheeks. “I'm human, know!!”

“I am an alpha tester, a participant of the test that was conducted before the beta test.”

“Because ... I refuse to go back to the real world ..” Yuukaru said as he stared at the moon and the stars hanging in the sky. The moon had already reached the top of the sky and was now beginning to move down, signaling that midnight had already arrived. It's 00:00 now. A new day has begun.
“I rejected my destiny, therefore I chose to remain in this world. The other alpha test participants also chose to live in this world. Therefore, the test failed and was replaced with beta test.”
