Purity Online - The World For The Fallens
After Story 3: Reunion
Plot Creation Room, Imaginary Dimension.
A black portal with a mixture of purple colors appears in a jet-black digital walled room with bright purple stripes adorning the 90-degree corners. A chair was there with screens displaying stories from various novels lying in front of it.
From inside the portal, came out a short black-haired teenage boy who was scratching the back of his head. The teenager sat in a chair. Although it seems that he is just an ordinary High School boy, he is the one in control of the worlds displayed on those holographic screens.
"Finally my spirit writing is back as well. Why have I been so lazy lately, huh?" The high school teenager continued to scratch the back of his head which was actually not itchy at all. "There are two more chapters. The feeling of last month I was diligent to write 4 chapters per day. Do I mostly go to other worlds, huh?"
"Yes that's it." He conjures a hologram of the keyboard in front of him, then places his hands on the thin, transparent typewriter. The screens in front of it instantly replace the images displayed with images from the Purity Online dimension.
Quickly, the boy pressed the arrow keys that pointed to the side, continuing to slide the pictures to the maximum limit, he said, until finally the entire screen displays a picture of Ryugai talking to Yuukaru who was in a police patrol car surrounded by a twilight red light.
"I need to quickly finish this novel. Anyway, I still need to work on another project. If stuck here, maybe the idea for other projects is lost somewhere."
A smile was engraved on the black-haired young man's face. "Yes ..., hajime youka!! (Well ..., let's start!!)"
"Eh, wait. Why would I even cosplay as Kamen Rider Build?"

"This is really you, Yuukaru?!" Ryugai still could not believe what he saw. "Now you're working as a cop?"
"Yes" said Yuukaru.
"Don't you always say justice is rubbish?"
"The past let it be the past" said the girl. "Ryugai, guess what happens after the Purity Online experiment ends."

The Yuukaru POV
Yep. The experiment is over now. I was released from behind the bars of a detention cell and was accepted back to school because my actions did not include serious criminal acts. However, the friends in my class were all silent and would not open their mouths about the truth, making the children from the other classes stay away from me and regard me as a dangerous student. Even I was often talked about in the back and used as gossip material. Actually I can't stand it, but I'm trying to hold it. Even if I want to fight back, I don't have solid evidence. Returning to this world was a big mistake. Maybe it is true, justice is rubbish. But, I can't possibly go back to the world of Purity Online. I can't escape reality anymore. It seems like the Purity Online experiment is completely pointless. Nothing has changed from me.
Yeah, at least that's my mindset .., until I heard the news that Yukiko and her friends were arrested and the truth about the rumors about me was exposed. The old friends immediately apologized to me for the gossip they had spread. Half in disbelief, I went to the police station to ask for information, and their answer was ....
"Your classmates have opened their mouths about reality. We know the truth now. What you did was not wrong. You're just defending yourself. You're the victim, aren't you? You're the one who suffers every day, right? Ah, ja. The whistleblower and his gangmates have been arrested on charges of defamation and maltreatment. We're really sorry for treating you like a criminal. In exchange, we will provide you with star self-defense services, scholarships, and some indemnity money .... Ah, ja. Your classmates who report back also say they want to be processed legally or not, everything is up to you. Looks like he feels guilty for keeping his mouth shut and making you suffer. So, the fate of sister Yukiko and her friends is in your hands ...."
"That means ...." I took a step forward with an incredulous look. "Justice is upheld?"
The police inspector smiled. "Yes ...."
A full smile was on my lips. I shook the inspector's hand with gratitude. So many times thank you came out of my mouth. Justice is not rubbish. Justice is also not a one-edged blade that is sharp down but blunt upwards. Sooner or later, justice will be served. Those who suffer will soon find the happiness they should have. However, happiness cannot be obtained for free. We should also try to make it happen. If there is no justice around us, we must establish it ourselves. If the world we live in is not a world without suffering, then we ourselves must take the initiative to create a world without suffering.
Indeed, there may sometimes be no happy ending for the defenders of justice, but sooner or later the truth will be revealed. There will come a time when people will be able to get the rights they deserve. If we fail to uphold justice, then we must rise again. Even if we cannot rise again, take the precious lesson of eternal failure. Look for victory in the midst of defeat, because behind failure there must be a victory. We cannot force the Creator to give us life without suffering and end our life with a happy ending. This is not a Cinderella story or any other fairy tale where the one who defends the truth always wins. Sometimes they lose.
There are probably a lot of people out there who haven't been able to feel justice. Maybe their story doesn't end with a happy ending like mine. Therefore, I will make it happen for them ....
Creating a world where justice is not just nonsense or myth ....
