Day 62: The War Begins!! The Kraken Strategy (Part 2)
On top of the biggest ship, a skull-bodied captain grinned savagely. Stamped his pirate-typical right hand into the perimeter fence. His laughter began to fall. The longer it gets louder, and eventually it becomes a loud laughter.
"Khu .. khu .. khu .. khu ...."
"Fu .. fu .. fu .. fu ... fu ...."
"HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!"
"The number of our soldiers clearly exceeds them!!! Summon Animals they are not up to three thousand!! Our fleet has ten thousand soldiers and 100 warships!!! Of course we will win!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" The skull captain laughed even more. Now, he looks like an insane person.
"But, captain, don't you feel weird?" ask the Vice-Captain. "Masa' they only send 2500 people from the air force to fight a fleet of 10 thousand monsters? I think the number of their air force soldiers is more than this. And again, why didn't they send in a navy soldier? They must be up to something, Captain."
"Haha. Who cares?! Shoot it!!! Keep firing!!! Attack!!! Attack it!!! Finish them all!!! Hail!!!"
"Ready, captain!!!"
"Water animal division, you also help attack!!!"
"Okay, captain!!!"
Meanwhile, the fate of the Air Force Patrol Division is on the edge. Half of their members were gone. 1500 soldiers came as reinforcements, replacing the 500 killed. But that all has no effect. Reinforcements also came for an army of 99 monster races. The number of those who had been five thousand now became ten thousand. Obviously the air force soldiers were outnumbered.
"Division chief, why are the deployed reinforcements few in number?" One of the air force soldiers brought his mount animal closer to the animal of the Chief of the Patrol Division.
The Division Head smiled meaningfully. "Maybe they want to surprise you?"
"What surprise? It's not a birthday party, Chief!!"
"Help will surely come." The Division Head looked straight at the intense battle that was taking place on the front lines. "Sure!!!"
"But, when did it come, sir-" The soldier's words were interrupted as large air bubbles appeared and filled the water surface, leaving the army of 99 monster races adrift, and the, even to sink some enemy warships. "Th-That's ...."
"Yes" said the Division Head. A triumphant smile was engraved on his face. "That's our reinforcements. The result of the infiltration of the top military officials."
"W-What happened?!" The Skull Captain's arrogance was now replaced by a frantic facial expression as his battleship was bobbing around.
“Uwaaarrrggghh!!”
The warships they rode in were oscillating ever more intense. Something very big seems to be trying to rise to the surface of the water until the sea water splashed in all directions with great force.
“What?! What is it?!” All the monster soldiers immediately lined up to the deck to see what was happening.
A few moments later, the giant figure appeared, emerging from the surface of the sea. A giant blue whale with a body protected by bone armor. Its length was equivalent to ten warships. With his mighty giant body, he messed up, killing the water animal-type monsters that looked like rats to him and sinking the enemy ships around.
“Barthy sea power!!!” furious Captain Skull while pounding the fence. “GUN!!! SHOOT IT!!! EVERYBODY SHOOT HIM!!”
Panic approached the entire monster army. With the attack formation in disarray, they tried to finish off the giant whale. However, let alone finish him, hurt him they are not able to. The number of their warships was drastically reduced. Currently, only twenty ships remained.
“See, ‘kan? It was the Summon Animal belonging to Navy Chief Zasamura.” Smiling, the Division Head pointed at the raging giant whale.
“But, Mr. Head, something is strange.” The Deputy Chief of the Air Force Patrol Division approached the animal on which the Division Head was riding.
“Hm? What?”
“All the passengers of the ship went out towards the deck to fight, so should all the lower class monster races be there. The upper class ones, anyway, might be intentionally kept for the time of emergency. But the strange thing is ..., there is one race of low-class monsters that is lacking.”
“Iya, huh? What race is it?”
“Slime, Head Sir.”

Well, what kind of strategy was Greed planning? Why is the slime race not directly sent and told to fight from the beginning, but used as an ace card? Though slime, ‘kan, low-grade monster race.
