Day 57: Maximus Potentia Tournament Part Five (Part 6)
"Well!!! It turned out that Arai mastered the Summoning technique from the majors of Flora and Fauna Magic!!! What a surprise!!!"
"Hows it? Great, right?" arai said proudly, while the phoenix he was riding threw dozens of fireballs the size of an adult human towards Ryugai. However, everything was avoided.
"Rear!!" As fast as lightning, the Phoenix darted towards the back of Ryugai and gripped his shoulder, taking him up.
"U-Uwawh!!" Ryugai who was very confident now looks panicked. He thrashed around, trying to escape the phoenix that tried to take him and throw him out of the arena. The slashing of the phoenix's legs, made him fall from a height equivalent to the third floor. The Phoenix screamed in pain in a voice like an eagle. Ryugai immediately threw a dark black energy boost to the ground repeatedly in order to land safely.
"Mah ...." Ryugai heaved a sigh of relief as he managed to land on the ground perfectly. The young man thought he would die from falling from a height. His heart was still pounding and cold sweat was still flowing all over his body. With great difficulty, he tried to catch his breath. Did Arai really want to kill him? No, he's his friend. Even best friends. There was no way the young man had any intention of killing him.
"You're off guard!! The back of your body is open!!" arai exclaimed as he launched a fireball attack onto Ryugai's back.
Realizing that he is in a dangerous position, Ryugai rushes to turn his body and creates a shield of darkness. He managed to dodge at the right time.
"Then, it is forced," Ryugai said as he pointed his palm to the side. A kind of black leaf-shaped light seal appeared there. "Come, Inukai!!"
A giant black caterpillar suddenly appeared beside Ryugai, roared like a lion, then threw ten balls of dark energy from his mouth. Quickly, Arai avoided all the dark balls.
"Well!!! It turned out that Ryugai had also mastered the Summoning technique!!! Which Animal Summon will win?!"
"Free!! Your caterpillar can't fly!!!" arai exclaims while gripping Ryugai's giant caterpillar and trying to take it up, but fails. The animal is too heavy. In fact, Arai and his phoenix almost fell to the ground because it was struck by the Caterpillar.
"Then, what about this?"
Arai flicked his finger, then suddenly the claws on the two legs of the phoenix he was riding extended. Both of the Phoenix's eyes glowed golden. The large bird immediately clawed at Inukai at a speed that almost drove lightning. Inukai roared, then protected himself with a shield of darkness. Because of that shield, several phoenix fingernails were broken. Inukai again threw balls of dark energy from his mouth and hit the phoenix with a bang.
"Damn!! Hard too!!" arai Ompat. It flew away. His broken nails and his severed right leg grew back and recovered in just three seconds. Ryugai, the commentators, as well as the spectators were stunned to see that.
"Well!! Apparently Arai's pet has Auto-Heal ability!!! The rest of the game is just two minutes away. Who will win?"
"Just two minutes, huh?" ryugai said as he looked at Arai who was riding his phoenix. "Then I have to be serious."
The caterpillar belonging to Ryugai was suddenly enveloped by a layer of intense black light, then transformed within that layer of light. After a while, his new form was seen. A giant dragonfly.
"Well, it looks like Ryugai's pet has entered the second phase!!!"
Arai smiling. "So you're getting serious, huh, Ryugai?"
