Ch. 128 - Threat of Two Empires
The morning came not as peaceful as the usual days, not yet the sun came out two creatures had started to fight.
"Think instead of thinking. Yeah, I'm glad you're back. But where have you been all this time? Moving nature? Bothering the village widow next door? Or pestered people's gardens? Hey, razor mouth!" Indeed talking to Lang had to wear a vein, Xin Fai had taken a swing with a rattan bat. But it seems that the wolf doesn't care about his talk.
"Once again you don't answer ..."
"If I don't answer why? You think I'm scared?"
"Urusan answered you just knew."
"Grrhc ... You told me to answer?" Lang started to bleed, he got up from his favorite bed in the corner of the room. Showing a face full of war.
"Don't answer in a dirty way!"
Xin Zhan closed his ears. Early in the morning the two creatures had already clashed violently, he saw his mother also woke up and found a commotion in Xin Chen's room. Sure enough, the man nicknamed Demon Sword who was highly respected in the Shang Empire was fighting - or rather fighting with a wolf sucks.
The two looked like they wanted to fight in a matter of seconds again, Xin Zhan started to be wary. He and Ren Yuan were surprised to see Lang return even though the state of his body was far from okay. More importantly now stop the two from fighting.

Lang dashed towards Xin Fai, pretending to claw at him and plopping down until the man was wedged under his stomach.

"Geez, you're this. Just tell me you miss me what's hard." Xin Fai laughed out of breath to the point that it sounded more like an asthma person. Lang's body is very heavy, if ordinary people who are crushed it is definitely really crushed to the bone.
"Lang, you're back ..." Ren Yuan's voice interrupted the two. Lang looked at Ren Yuan, his golden eyeballs shining brightly. He immediately got up to Ren Yuan. The woman stroked Lang's head while saying, "Welcome."
"Thank God you're okay."
Lang caught a glimpse of Xin Zhan, Xin Fai protesting back behind. "Hoi, you owe me an explanation."
"Stop babbling. You imagine a grandfather who almost died of his hip disease, you forcefully talk on and on. If there's the most useless part created in your body, it must be your brain. Empty like. Worth not wearing."
"Are you having a backache?"
"That's just a swoop. Nevermind, forget. It's true that there's no brain."
Lang half ran to the courtyard of the house, staring up at the sky followed by Xin Fai who was confused by the wolf's attitude.
"Who are you looking for?"
"Your son is as stupid as you."
"These knives mouth ... Just tell Xin Chen, can't you?"
"You're looking for another demon friend there." Lang grumbled, his eyes watching every inch of the sky closely. His instincts said they were already close to Fanlu City.

"This fast? At least heal your wounds." Xin Chen carried his luggage into the house, the wolf was trailing quickly. "Dad and Lang wait in the living room, I'll be there in a minute."

The dim room with a statue worn by the typical battle armor of the Demon Sword became where they talked. Besides being covered, the place was also wide enough that the two dragon and wolf demons were able to move freely.
There was only Lang, Ye Long, Xin Fai and Xin Chen inside. Waiting for the figure of the wolf explained all the answers of the questions swirling in their heads.
"There's a lot going on. I'll start 7 years ago."
Lang explained. After the war that destroyed Renwu City, he had come close to death many times. Facing many things and finally decided to wander since his employer disappeared. He tried to find Xin Fai's whereabouts in the Qing Empire just that it always ended horribly; lang was impaled in the heart.
But his body refused to die. Five days of running out of blood, his strength returned and healed the shattered organs. As a Golden Furry Wolf he had many advantages over other demons.
Lang's despair took him far away to another land. Lang thought Xin Fai was taken to a place most dangerous to demons or humans. That place was the Wei Empire.
Lang knowingly, he could die there on his blind instinct telling him that his master was there. But he was wrong, his instincts brought the Wolf closer to death.
Lang's journey in the blood-filled Wei Empire was indescribable. Only, the wolf was repeatedly trapped and used as a trial material even though he could still escape from the cage. The wolf did not eat for months because of the limited food there. He said humans could kill each other for just a handful of food.
The picture of the situation in the Wei Empire that was explained so clearly made Xin Chen slightly in disbelief. But if that was the case, surely the jungle in the Wei Empire was far more terrifying than the Qing Empire known as the Warring States.
"I'm planning on going there soon."
Lang was silent for quite a while.
"You will die, there are many reasons that can make you die even with your immortal body or spirit body."
Then the wolf's eyes stared nigh at Ye Long, the black dragon hiding quickly behind Xin Chen's back.
"More so if you bring the sloppy dragon. 99 percent of you will die silly. I told you. I've actually been dead five times there, it's just that I'm so lucky and my body can heal back the broken part." Xin Fai began to doubt whether the decision to let Xin Chen go to the Wei Empire was correct. He was afraid to regret his decision that day
But the man was conscious. There was nothing he could change from Xin Chen's head.
"I have one shocking news. And this will be the reason why you should get there soon."
Xin Chen looked at it seriously.
"At this time Emperor Wei and their researchers were working with Qin Yujin to create a virus that could destroy the entire Shang Empire in just 3 days. Without an arms war."
"It can't be ..." Xin Fai understood the danger Lang said was as terrible as what, the Wei Empire had enormous potential to rule over other empires. But if Lang said the two empires had already begun to cooperate, it meant that the Shang Empire would face two forces at once. One is the power of scientists and the other is the military.
