The Demon Swordsman 3

The Demon Swordsman 3
Ch. 23 - Mysterious Man

Countless hours had passed, one by one falling in the middle of the death vortex. Shui and Huo Rong went berserk, destroying whatever was blocking their stealth bodies.

Thousands of arrows had been stuck in Huo Rong's body, her fiery red eyes instantly squealing upon hearing the sound of movement behind her, so fast that it made her instincts feel a great threat.

Shortly before the big attack appeared, Huo Rong had a chance to see the silhouette of a man in all-enclosed clothes. Even his face was partially covered by a long cloth and left only a line in the second part of the eye.

The lightning that was so fast appeared, Huo Rong with her stealth form did not have time to dodge because her body was so big. And his response was too slow to face such lightning power. There was a high-speed sound, Huo Rong's body suddenly dazed. The demon's eyes widened when it found that part of his hand had been scratched by a deep incision.

'No way ... My skin should not be able to be pierced with an ordinary sword. Who exactly is this guy?' Before getting another big wound that would only have a bad effect on his stealth body, Huo Rong then changed the form to the human body. At least with that body he could dodge the attacks faster.

Just able to stand up straight, Huo Rong was again faced with a lightning-fast attack that instantly hit her forehead. Huo Rong's body bounced. He was being chased by the figure of a swordsman holding a sword like an assassin preying on a victim.

With a half-stealth hand Huo Rong managed to hold back the speed of the sword that was about to fall on top of his head. Huo Rong's thick skin began to erode the longer the sword pressed down. Huo Rong reversed the attack by attacking the man using her other hand.

Unfortunately, the attack did not hit the enemy at all. But lucky with that, Huo Rong was able to retreat for a moment before reading who the opponent she was facing was.

Without needing to look at his expression, Huo Rong knew that the man was looking at her sharply accompanied by a demonic grin on his face. The question that had revolved around his head was successfully guessed by the man. Huo Rong was sure, from the very beginning of the fight that person was really eyeing his life. Not for war. But for something else, like revenge.

"Your statue is engraved beautifully in Emperor Yin's palace."

The man played the sword in his hand, flaunting its beautiful shape with a hint of light in his sharp blade.

"I think the old man got him out of there." Huo Rong grieved bitterly, but on the other hand there was a hint of pleasure in her heart.

"Emperor Yin still believes you. Even though you already know that you are a demon. You know for yourself in our Empire your people will only be killed and thrown into the trash?" His hands stopped moving, the man's face raised. Huo Rong was able to notice the sharp lightning from her pair of eyes, implying an extremely furious rage.

"You traitors. Emperor Yin planted blooming flowers in your house. You're dirtying him with the blood of his people. So ruthless. Despite just hearing the story, it was enough as an excuse to kill you."

No wonder, so many tilted issues have come since Huo Rong left her position as one of the Ten Strongest. But the kindness of Emperor Yin was not a lie. Huo Rong was not sure whether the man hated her or accepted her as he had. But whatever the reason, serving a person like Emperor Yin would only bring him down. Devastatedly.
