The Demon Swordsman 3

The Demon Swordsman 3
Ch. 174 - Light Point

Almost a week after his return, Xin Chen had not reported anything to the Empire. His current priority was to make sure Ren Yuan was completely healed. Xin Zhan once took his time to be at home. While Xin Fai the past two days decided to keep Ren Yuan for a while. After getting permission.

In the afternoon that was still so bright, Xin Chen let her farewell with Ye Long as Xin Fai guarded Ren Yuan. She went to Xin Xia's house to find out the state of the woman, lucky that her aunt had many bodyguards and servants who were always ready to serve her. Xin Xia's child grew up healthy without any flaws.

Xin Chen had only met for a short while, he had other goals to do; meeting Shui in the Valley of the Gods. Xin Chen was about to make a quick trip with Ye Long. Without wasting much time the two immediately went there.

Ye Long's flying speed felt much faster than before, Xin Chen had thought the same thing since his return.

"You trained your wings?"

Ye Long turned his head back as he replied, "That time I was thinking of chasing you into the Wei Empire ..."

Xin Chen would definitely hit Ye Long if only the dragon had really caught up with him there. But Ye Long waited at the border for his return. Just like when he locked himself in the sea of fire in Renwu City. The dragon did not move from the front of the statue of the pillar that had lost its head, the place where Xin Chen had once said that he was no longer the master of the dragon.

"But there were some tools fired from below to catch me. Every day I fly and try to exceed their attack speed."

"But it didn't work?"

"I can only travel two kilometers, maybe. The rest when it landed hundreds of corpses walked after me. I came back after that and decided to wait for you at the border."

"Good."

Thanks to the increasingly high flying speed, the journey taken does not take long. At night they had arrived at the gate of the headquarters of the Four Surveillance Units. Xin Chen noticed the spirit veil that enveloped this place had disappeared.

It's worth it to happen. Since the Wei Empire he had barely used his spirit power, if there was very little and it was only to make his human form remain intact. The place became bigger and crowded. The activity below them was very intense. Connecting roads and previously abandoned locations began operating.

Xin Chen had not mistakenly chosen Huo Rong as the interim chairman. He brought about a major change for the Four Surveillance Units. Ye Long flapped his wings low, bringing the two down to headquarters. A few people who were aware of his presence informed the others and immediately called out to Huo Rong who was working on cutting wood.

The two landed in the center of the headquarters, where tens of thousands of members of the Four Surveillance Units greeted his arrival with joy.

"Chairman return!" their screams were filled with haru. The happy and tormented faces were visible almost all over their faces. It seemed that Huo Rong was treating them harshly. Xin Chen looked for Huo Rong who had apparently come while carrying a tree trunk the size of an adult human body on his shoulders.

"You come back" he said as he lowered the wood, patted his two gray hands and took them to sit on a chair made under the trees.

Huo Rong's breathing was still gnawing, her mouth continuing to speak. "Some of the plans you're talking about I've been running. The rest of you take care of, being the chairman here is exhausting. Out of voice I set your weak keroco-keroco," he said annoyed. The red hair mane to come dull because it works during the night.

Xin Chen said, "Who said you can take your hands off."

Huo Rong immediately looked away in panic. "You're back, and then what else? I'll only replace you when you're not around."

"You'll still be working in Unit One."

Huo Rong's shoulders slumped. "Curtain, trouble you."

"Where's shui?" his tanyanya, Huo Rong shook her shoulders.

"Submerging in the river maybe. The habit of the water lizard, the workman shrews him even skin care."

Huo Rong walked to the river she was referring to followed Xin Chen. Sure enough, Shui instead soaked there until his skin was wrinkled. Looking at the reflection of his own face while muttering happily.

"It's crazy like that" Huo Rong grumbled as she pointed at Shui. Xin Chen picked up the stone, throwing it slanted onto the surface of the river. The stone jumped several times before hitting Shui's face.

"Oh my goodness, anakonda."

"This mahkluk. The others work you're busy soaking. Get out of there you're a group burden." Huo Rong forced to transport Shui from the water. Shui.

"Aaaa damn you, Xin Chen you got anakonda from where is this creepy?"

"Not much talk. There's something I want to talk to you about. Get out of there."

Shui gave a piss. His head was beaten by Huo Rong who had run out of patience with his behavior. Want to return back even those who are persecuted. Her blue hair was wet, she walked to the river bank making Huo Rong and Xin Chen close their eyes.

"Wear your clothes, demon. Staining people's eyes only," Huo Rong protested. Xin Chen intended to wait for Shui in the meeting room.

"Huuu coward. You see what you're afraid of."

"Look at your son."

The fight begins again.

Xin Chen had until he ran out of sense with the behavior of the two demons, intermittently fighting.

**

There was only Xin Chen and Shui in one all-enclosed room. The only illumination was a blue flame burning on the table. Shui was able to take a so serious look at his interlocutor at this moment. He took it seriously and immediately asked, "What do you want to talk about?"

"The Fox Teacher."

"Oh, the body is still intact in my dimensional space. You wanna see her?"

"Not that" cut it.

Shui's hand went down to the table, "Your luck is great. Found this thing in a place that wide ..."

"really. This thing is auctioned. I don't know who took him there, but from the news that I heard this stuff moved hands and continued to take casualties."

Shui nodded, "The Lightning Fox holds full power over its power. And when he wants that power to condemn anyone who abuses it, then it will continue to happen."

Xin Chen took out the fox jewel carefully, it was scuffed and shabby. A silvery bright light from her came out illuminating the room dimly. Xin Chen looked at Shui who seemed to understand what he meant.

The body of the Lightning Fox was removed from the space of its dimension. Shui laid the body of the Lightning Fox in between. Xin Chen couldn't do much, he watched Shui use his power to the Lightning Fox. The body had been dead for a long time and was deliberately moved to its dimensional space where it could control time so that it would not decay.

"Everything's fine."

Shui's face was so convincing, Xin Chen gave the fox jewel to him.

"Wake up, you chatty fox. Your student is crying and asking you to come back."

Xin Chen wanted to tell the Fox, he regretted his actions first. When the Thunder Fox was falling and had no place to take shelter, what he did was to blame the situation and lock himself up like a coward. Xin Chen would not forgive his mistake that time.

Whatever he did for the Lightning Fox's return. Xin Chen wanted to apologize to his teacher.

The dust of light began to rise above the air, Shui activating his power. Uniting the Demon Jewel into the body of the Lightning Fox returned. Xin Chen noticed the fox's face for a long time. The face always looks angry at her. But now it became the thing he missed the most from the fox.

"Some of his organs are no longer functioning." Shui continued with doubt. "Possibly his life wasn't so much. So I beg you, don't expect me too much. It might disappoint you."

When Shui said it he was already disappointed, the chances of the Lightning Fox living were reduced. Grain of light flew in that dark room. Make it a room full of light. The silver feathers of the Thunder Fox moved slowly by the small wind of Shui's strength.

Shui's expression worsened but he said nothing else to Xin Chen. He swallowed while taking a breath.

"Come ...!"

Shui forced the jewel but something shocking happened.

The Fox Jewel was thrown powerfully against the wall, the cracks were getting bigger on the body of the thing. Xin Chen carried it over quickly, seeing the damage getting worse on the gem.

"I don't want to force it. The jewel rejected the body of the Thunder Fox."

"There's no other way?"

Shui replied without thinking. "Nothing."

Xin Chen tried to find a way, but he knew very well that if the second time Shui failed to fuse the jewel into the Fox's body then it would only end up being smashed into pieces. At its worst end, the Lightning Fox did not have a single percent chance of survival.

"Try it again."

"If it's ruined this time, you know the risk?"

Xin Chen fell silent, pondered over her and began to feel bad if Shui forced her.

"Don't first," he said. Xin Chen noticed the goal of the thing.

"People say that carrying this jewel will surely cause misfortune. But it doesn't apply to me."

"Because you have a little bit of the power of the Thunder Fox." Shui answered him directly, there was no way he didn't know about it.

Xin Chen looked at him, starting to think of one small possibility. He had time to make this gemstone active again by making it glow.

Xin Chen did the same, channeling the power of lightning into the gem.

Silver light flowed within the gem, the scratch marks there seemed to glow with a bright light.

"I understand ..." Shui began to catch what Xin Chen was doing. "This "gig had very little power left in it. That alone would not be enough to be able to fuse it with the Fox's body."

Xin Chen responded, "With my strength, maybe this can be done. I will withstand the damage with the power of lightning. But you have to endure the electric shock that could have come out of this gem."

Shui knew about it. Xin Chen who was grasping the gemstone placed it on the forehead of the Lightning Fox. Shui's hand was on top of his, starting to repeat back from the beginning.

Spikes of lightning power flowed within the fox gemstone, Shui withstood the stinging of his palm that felt like it was being stung at once burned. But even walking ten minutes the stone did not return to the body of its owner.

"Damn, I can't hold on much longer, Chen. This stone will make my hands burn."

"Suffered, Shui. We don't know when this will work."

"Well, if it's two hours of my turn you'll have to save." Shui seemed to be emotionless as usual. He had held back as much as possible but the pain was gnawing.

Shui let go of his hand. This time it was not a gemstone that bounced, instead he was thrown into the wall. The powerful surge of lightning power just slipped out of it. Xin Chen caught up with Shui in a panic.

"I told you to hold on for a second."

Shui was surprised. But it was not because of an impromptu event that almost made him a grilled lizard, but something behind Xin Chen's back.
